Great place to have fun with the family or friends. There are places to grab a cup of coffee or a bottle of beer (or two). Has a spacious grassy area where kids can run around or play games. A bike rental kiosk is in the area for those who would like to go for a spin. Two toilet areas available.

Located at the east coast park, this is a great place to while away with your book or just people watching. Fronting the beach, there are many f&b outlets, though a bit pricey. For cheaper alternative, you can head over to Killiney kopi tiam housed within Cheers convenient store. There’s also a laser quest game centre and a bicycle shop for those seeking some action.

Great walk along the seafront, quiet but enough people to make it enjoyable. Lots of great places to eat and drink along the way – we hired bikes and cycled up eventually walking back down all the way to MBS: an adventure I’d thoroughly recommend.

Offers a view of the beach along with the sound of the waves and sights of cargo ships.

Not very crowded and great for those that want peace and tranquility.

However, eateries are very limited and are not that popular amongst everyone of all ages.

A nice walk along the coast, especially at evening. My friend is put off by the numerous ships but I found it interesting. Only thing that put me off is I saw a rat there. It wasn’t vicious but I didn’t really want to be in the vicinity of it.

Excellent location to just chill and relax. Big open field (with floodlights) where children can run and play. There is a sports equipment shop beside the field selling among other things skateboards/ roller blades/ cones etc. Several eateries and Starbucks in the vicinity too.

Common area for people to gather for exercise as it has a public toilet and car park. There is a row of restaurants and cafe which serves as a good spot for people to gather for dinner after an exercise activity. There is a tower (amber tower) which allows you to view the east coast park coast line.

Having company team building within the ecp and one of the activities is treasure hunting. We spent almost 2.5 hours on this activity and this is absolutely a great experience and exercise for me by the way
Not really accessible by mrt but should be accessible by public bus. Not sure on this because I was there by having cab along with my colleagues.

Parkland Green at East Coast Parkway now provides even more options for families looking for a little day out by the beach.
Formerly the location of the Parkland Golf Driving Range, this low-rise development comprises a mix of restaurants, casual cafes and sports retail shops. There is even an indoor laser tag centre located at Parkland Green.
Those seeking a caffeine fix will not be disappointed. There is the ubiquitous Starbucks at Parkland Green, along with bakery and bar St. Marc Café and even a Killiney Kopitiam co-located inside a Cheers convenience store.

One of the nicest place on East Coast with the best restaurants on the beach apart from the East Coast lagoon and deaf food centre. The place is a multi cuisine restaurant joint and has a big open green space generally used for freestyle sports, flying discs and training drones. Multiple coffee shops and a few western restaurants, the place also has a micro brewery and one Indian/Mexican eating joint as well

There are a lot ghost sighting reported in this area. The beach is okay, but the air is usually dirty from the tanker ships on the horizon. View also destroyed by the tanker ships. Many people on the weekend. Not so easy to reach by public transportation.

Great place to walk by the sandy beach under beautiful shady trees.

Lots of people picnic and exercise here.

Kids build sand castles with their parents

Great view here of dozens and dozens of big ships from all over the world

Also airplanes, as flight landing path to Changi airport runs parallel to beach.

    Tasty restaurants and coffee shops.

Great place to relax & enjoy

Parking available, many people cycle here or take taxi

IMPORTANT WARNING: although the water is very inviting on a hot day, every year it proves to be DANGEROUS to a handful of people who do not follow safe practices and / or not good experienced swimmers. A terrible tragedy just 2 days ago on beach about 1 km towards Changi.

Please enjoy the beauty and fun, and appreciate the risks also

Empty green field lawn for kids to run and a beach in front for them to play. Not at all fun in night due to lack of light. But definitely a good place to spend some solitude time with kids and family.

If you ever need an excuse to go to East Coast Park, you can now suggest going there to check out the nice new bars and cafes at Parkland Green.

The National Parks’ project features a mix of dining and recreation retail outlets and has a 1-hectare open lawn. You can bring your own food and have a picnic at the lawn or enjoy eating at one of the restaurants there and ending with drinks at a bar.

    Sandbank

Sandbank is a family-friendly cafe with an in-house bakery serving pastas, pizzas, pies, sandwiches, deserts, chargrilled meats and seafood. There is an interesting 15 metre plunge pool for customers of Sandbank; you can order drinks from the poolside bar. On weekends, they have an International Breakfast Buffet at $19 for adults and $9.50 for kids (4-12).

Chill at the Atmosphere@ParklandGreen with friends or loved ones. Love the close proximity to the sea and beach and serenity while sipping beer with friends over dinner there. A nice outdoor place to hang out for beach or beer lovers and their pizzas, steak and fries are not bad.

Many restaurants and bars to suit your preference. It’s right beside a dog run if that’s your thing. Pet Master is also there if you need to get some supplies. Overall Parkland Green is well situated next to a large car park, even on weekends, you can expect to find many empty lots due to the size of it.

Haven’t been here since a few years ago. I was there because brought my dog to check out the new dog run there. There are a few restaurants which are dog friendly. I chanced upon this restaurant called Atmosphere. The staff services are impeccable and most of them love dogs though they never owned one. Food is inexpensive and is pretty good. Whole day Heineken and Sapporo beers at $5 is really a steal. Can get crowded during weekends cos lots of them will bring their babies and dogs there. Call in advance to reserve a table. View is nice

Excellent place to hang out during week days in hectic, crowded Singapore. Few nice cafe, nice green patch in front (very dried up at moment of writing!) and nearby beach for walking or BBQ. Still free parking, but knowing the bizz strategy that will change soon. Noted a few leasure shops and play grounds though after the initial rental discounts over, those shops will disappear…al fresco, beach dining…high rental will eventually kill it or it becomes a playground for the elite porsches and Maseratis…Till then, I am enjoying it!!

Newest establishment along the East Coast Park for the discerning crowd, away from the posh eateries but slowly deserted East Coast Seafood Centre, the bustling, noisy and down-to-earth East Coast Lagoon Food Village. The other two choices include Big Splash and one dominated by Long Beach Seafood / Burger King.

Best for bringing a date in the evening or for weekend brunch.

Nice park to go jogging, brisk walking or generally chilling but no direct public bus services to the location during weekdays and Saturdays. Not sure if the Sunday and public holiday services are affected by the pandemic. Visitors need to alight either at Parkway or Marine Crescent and walk towards the direction of the beach.

I liked this place even beter than Central Park in NYC or any other public open space I know all over the world. All the areas are open for free to the publuc and they offer all kind of services you may need for a great day in the park alongside the beach, either alone or with your family: parking lot, public restrooms including shower and lockers, venfing machines, small bycicle repair and rental shops including electric scooters, restaurants, cafeteria, tracks for jogging and to ride your bike, security, designated areas to cook barbecue, shelters in case of rain, playgrounds for kids… everything.

A nice quiet row of eateries plus a skate shop (Hyper Sports), Cheers and Starbucks. Very popular on weekends with in line skaters. A good break from the hustle and bustle of Marine and Cove which is just a few km down the road.

Could do with a shuttle bus service though this will be hard to justify given the low footfall. Linked to Marine Parade via an underpass which is located just after Cheers

Very nice place to have a family picnic, windy and the air is fresh. There are lots of dog owners walking their beautiful dogs and cyclists. The view of the sea is gorgeous and you can see large ships docked in the distant.
