Love the food there …satay is veri nice
Zichar is good here, its best to reach before 630pm when it stars getting crowded
Western food. Satay. Fishball noodle soup. Roast pork.
This Minced Pork Noodles is one of my favourite, Noodle is QQ, lots of ingredients for $4.50 bowl size. Open only in the evening and do expect to have a long queue most of the time.
Great supper spot with good bakchormee and zichar.
We Punggol-ian’s are pathetic when it comes to food. I wished we have a coffee like this in Punggol.
This coffee has got really good prawn noodles and you can actually order satay for lunch!! Mind you, the satay is no ordinary meat sticks, but they’re served with the traditional pineapple satay sauce!
You people in Sengkang are blessed!!
Good Hainanese Satays
Mutton, Pork or Chicken
It’s a little gem in the heartlands. Love the variety of food here. 红油抄手 is handmade and really good.
The Sheng Fa satay were delicious n price was reasonable. We make a call to place order n collect at the stall. My grandson loved very much. Haven’t try the other stalls food. Will go again for other food.
Usual chow place for the folks around. Come here for tze char at night, prawn mee in the morning. Tze char also not bad. Bcm no longer as good as before. Can skip
Food taste good
Hong Kong Style Wanton Noodle best!
Food is pretty good, but a bit ex
Coffee best among sengkang
Duck rice and coffee is nice
The ba chor mee is good. Gets sold out fast.
Like wise, all of us know this is a coffeeshop. But this coffeeshop small and the sitting place is less. The food here is not bad. This is also one of the reason why so less sit as most of them come here and eat.
Convenient! Can get chee cheong fun for breakfast to satay for supper snacks.
is clean and without pesty flies flying around
delicious and cheap
好吃又便宜
White beehoon, satay, western stall, zi char, mixed rice. These are just the stalls I could remember. Not sure if there are halal options.
All the dishes we tried were pretty decent and we are definitely coming back again. The only negative comment is that while the satay was well-seasoned, a handful of sticks were a little too charred for my liking, ie the cook wasn’t consistent.
Note: To the earlier reviewer that said the coffeeshop is warm and humid…SINGAPORE is warm and humid. And this is a coffeeshop. Please be fair with your comments and ratings.
Overall, the food in this kopitiam are quite nice. I especially loveeee their 红油抄手, the taste is restaurant standard!! I also enjoy their rojak very much as its tasty. The auntie is very kind to allow me to choose the ingredients, not all rojak stalls allow me to pick & choose.
Wide variety of food..
Prata is good! Cai fan is also good! Chicken rice stall as well kopi can be better! …
Tze Char Stall and Minced Meat Noodles stalls are quite popular with the residents here. But expect long waiting time during peak hours
Cheap n Good!
Went specially for the prawn noodle after reading many good reviews. Indeed, the pork rib is tender and flavourful, the noodle with tasty chilli paste is yummy, the soup is robust and pack full of flavour. To top it all, the service is great with very polite counter service staff. It is a gem in this area.
Always crowded — because it houses all the best stalls under one roof. And surprisingly, most stalls don’t partner with food delivery platforms.
The zi char, rojak, bak chor mee, prawn noodles, satay, western food, Indian Muslim food and economy rice stalls are all good! The drink stall also sells hot pastries that are pretty yummy.
The zi char is tasty and value for money. One regular portion is more than enough for 2 people. Expect a queue during peak hours, however you won’t need to wait too long. Our fave is the fish head curry and Mongolian chicken.
The rojak is so delicious, an uncle said he would come all the way from Jurong for it! And I agree, it’s the best rojak I’ve tasted in Singapore so far.
Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Sengkang!
Note: As of Feb 2022, this coffee shop still only allows maximum 2 pax per table.
I give 3 star is because the ladies who make the coffee is very rude, I work nearby here almost 3 years ,and I always get food from this coffee shop ,all the stall stuff is very good manners, only this chinese lady in the afternoon shift, thats why i long time don’t buy coffee from her,the morning shift two Chinese auntie is very good .and all the foreigners who wear those blue t shirt also very good manners .
Zichar was ok but a bit too salty for me. Waiting time was not too long. Parking was just next door.
Yummy prawn mee at the coffee shop. Closed on Thursdays
Nice food
The zechar stall has very good curry fish head.
Ok
A place to solve three meals
解决三餐的地方
Delicious food
A good prawn mee stall.
Big prawn noodles good but always long Q.
Western and prawn mee stalls are nice
HI this was my first visit there. The arrangement of chairs and table need improvement. Cramp! 2 stalls at the centre occupy too much space. Food is not bad. SATAY is popular but they operate at later time. Mix food quite a variety and fresh
Here you can find xiao long bao as good as ding tai fong
Especially the prawns noodles stall yum yum . Worth it …
Nothing much, just your typical neighborhood food court
I recommend roast pork rice and the balister noodles !
Coffee shop aunty’s too much attitude with people , hate to go there
This Coffeeshop is crowded during dinner time. Has quite a number of stalls that serves pretty good food!
Love the bak chor mee (chilli and vinegar) is very good. Tried the white beehoon before too and it was decent with the sambal belachan chilli. The satay is Chinese style, serving pork satay! Has pineapple in the peanut gravy.
The drinks stall also sells the triangle shaped curry puff
Small coffeeshop under multi carpark, has many stalls selling local delights even at 8pm. Fish all noodle is ok but not for the laska. Satay not too bad, the gravy is thick with pineapple and can taste out the peanuts in it. Even at 9pm, this coffeeshop is still quite crowded with beer drinkers and diners
Best roti prata
The go2eat is the best
Loved the egg tart and curry puff sold at the drink stall. Highly recommended for a good morning breakfast!
Can smoke!
Food is great but crowded place.
The pork ribs and shrimp noodles are delicious
排骨虾面很好吃 …
Ba chor mee is good there, tze char used to be good until they started cutting corners in recent years and attitude from the staffs from the tze char stall isn’t the best. Chicken rice stall is decent. White bee hoon stall is operated by the same owner as the tze char, hence it was only good during its first month and after that started picking bad habits from the folks tse char stall and started cutting corner.
The Bak Chor Mee is pretty awesome!!! Chilli is lagi spicy… Give it a go!!!
Got very nice chinese satay at there
Rock power!!!
Rojak power!!!
Unsure about the rest of the stalls, but the prawn noodles is very very good!
Can be very crowded during dinner time…
Nice seafood and pork noodle
prawn noodle can try, the dian xin store carrot cake nice, duck rice store duck rice , yun tun mian good must add siao rou lol
Ok
Tried the Zi char Fu jian noodle, handmade ban mian, handmade pork dumplings, duck rice, white bee hoon, western food. This place is seriously a gem!
…
Good overall. Went 2021 Jan. Taste is good. Price is affordable too. Order Roasted Duck with Char Siew
Will always be back at this coffee shop for the prawn noodle
Chicken rice, western food stalls not bad…zi char passable but meepok stall I’ll avoid like plague. Lady boss acted like you owed her a living…my orders came out wrong every single time and they are just indifferent. The old man is nice but pity the poor sod needing to put up with a wife like this …
Midnight 1:30am I was there, only left curry beehoon. Luckily curry not bad.
At this coffee shop have 2 stall not to miss. BEST
1) Prawn noodle.
2) Satay.
The Egg Tarts here are AWESOME!!!
Good place.
The seafood stall (煮炒) one , is the best and price reasonable among this area (Sengkang) if you too lazy to visit punggol area, may consider this. Please bare with the unfriendly greeting by the cashier, relative of the Boss nah, what u expect, sure bossy kind hahah
White bee hoon not bad.
Good
Aaaaaaaaaa
The Zi char stall here is good, so it explains its business! Good thing is, u can call and order in advance before dropping by to collect if u are packing food. Besides the Zi char stall, there’s another ba chor mee stall that is extremely popular. Be prepared to face long queues unless you decide to visit later arnd 9+ where the crowd is more or less dispersed. Do note that the ba chor mee stall closes on Sundays though.
Famous Pork Satay. Need to call ahead to order. Waiting time up to 2.5hrs during dinner time. Beside Satay stall is a Prawn Noodle stall which serves really big prawns.
Small coffee shop with a great variety of food.
Nice food selection, unfortunately a lot of smokers spoiling the mood/air for everybody else.
Was there for earlybreakfast. Good pts 24hrs, carpark nearby, clean table, friendly staff, plenty of seats, not too hot. Negative pts common food nothing special. Prolly night time good for satay and western food which closed in morn.
The prawn noodle is super delicious. Highly recommended! They close pretty early. But they operates from 7.45am so if u wish to try, rmb to be early and prepare to queue too.
Lots of nice local food here!! 24 hour coffee shop! The prata here is tasty! Chicken rice is also good, the taste is not over-bearing and rice is served piping hot. Even has satay here, quite rare to find out of East Coast. Good place in the North-east to go to when you crave satay, prata, or rojak
Busy place, nice food.
Zi char is good!
The place of the coffee shop is very narrow, the food is so-so, and only one or two shops are still available.
咖啡店的地方很窄小,食物马马虎虎,只有一两家店面当口还可以吃。
The curry puff and egg tarts are nice!
Is a bit crowded but the foods is fantastic worth for waiting.
Prawn new is good. Lots of variety.
Near mscp. Decent selection
Big Prawn Noodle stall you must try. So far the best in north east area. The satay stall next to the prawn noodle is nice also but the waiting tume is an hour minimumly during peak hours. Can call in at 9086 2528 to make advance order.
The coffeeshop always ran out of seats. Many drink uncles there and also bored uncles hog the seats. Not easy to find seats especially with covid restriction in place.
Decent coffee shop with tze char, cai peng, chicken rice, western, fishball noodle stalls.
Usually crowded during dinner.
Roast meat stall – Roast duck is fantastic. It is different from most of the roast duck stalls in Singapore. Try the roast duck without the gravy, just with the oil, it is amazing. Savory and not sweet. As for the chicken rice, the rice is really fragrant and perfect level of oil is used.
The Satay stall is also amazing, nice mix of lean and fat meat on every stick grilled to perfection. The aunty (with heavy make up) no longer come to the stall , and the stall is managed by another chinese lady ( i presume her worker) who has also mastered the art of grilling satay!
The Zhi-Char stall – Must try the Singapore Bee hoon, nice work hei! The pineapple fried rice (large) can feed at least 6 adults!
There are very delicious Portuguese egg tarts, curry puffs, chicken pie, chicken siubao and Tuna Puff are freshly baked and fresh, delicious
这里有很好吃的葡式蛋挞、咖喱角、鸡肉派、鸡肉烧包和Tuna Puff都是现做现烘的很新鲜, 很好吃
Nice minced pork noodles closed on Sundays
Normal coffee shop
Prawn noodles rocks here
Good breakfast choices available here…
the waitress doesnt speak/understand a single word of english! no malay food stall available.dirty/smelly toilet!
Curry fishhead at zi char stall is good. Fresh fish and the curry gravy has taste of fresh grounded home made spices. Went twice and the gravy same taste means they maintain standard very well! Can get hp number to place advance order or reservation.
The satay n Chinese zhichar store is nice
Great place to have late dinner. The la la white bee hoon taste great with their samba chilli. Price starts at $5 which I think it’s reasonable. Same stall is share with another person selling satay. Will be back to try other food.
Have my favorite food
Satay very good. Serve till late night.
Most of the food are good.
Very busy place. Almost always crowded with people. Prawn noodle, bak chor mee and zi char are my favourites.
Tried the chilli crab. Not bad, affordable. But tasted more like ketchup crab to me.
Western aint half bad
The food stardard has dropped. Prices remained the same but portion is much lesser now
Roasted rice, prawn noodle, vegetable rice, western food stalls all very nice …
Good food! Rojak and the satay is fantastic!
neighborhood coffeeshop, small and have enough stalls including anchor cook-to-order stall popular during dinner. a satay stall, mixed veg rice, western, noodles, rojak and drinks/pastry/pies. However we visit here mostly for the cook-to-order stall which has reasonable price and more importantly, good cookin’. location is a bit off central so it’s less crowded but weekend nights still mostly fully occupied. we’re repeat customers for these reasons!
Lots of nice food
We Punggol-ian’s are pathetic when it comes to food. I wished we have a coffee like this in Punggol.
This coffee has got really good prawn noodles and you can actually order satay for lunch!! Mind you, the satay is no ordinary meat sticks, but they’re served with the traditional pineapple satay sauce!
You people in Sengkang are blessed!!
It is my second visit in a month, came for the prawn noodles and the wantan mee which are recommended. Hope they can do better in the ventilation especially with a smoking area.
Coffeeshop with good flavorful prawn noodle and tender chicken rice.. And also a side stall with Chinese noodle and dumplings to add on your liking..
Nice food could be found here
Meepok is a must try when you are here although others may say that the Prawn Mee is the star of this coffeeshop. However they only open for dinner till late. Laksa is great as well! But the soup really hits the spot.
Nice bcm …
Have been living in sengkang for quite a few years but only get to drop by this coffeeshop recently. Bought their curry puffs for breakfast and it was not bad.
Good service
NICE
Love the satay and pork noodle. But western food standard has recently drop. One of our fvourite coffeeshops in Sengkang, try the zhi char too.
Only can eat prata for halal food. Eat only prunes.
Only can eat prata for halal food. Makan prata sahaja.
Have a handsome guy selling roast delights there
Was ok but they used to have sport channel not anymore sad as for food chicken rice is good and that about it.
Hot fried stalls and mixed vegetable rice stalls are good, and the prices are reasonable.
热炒摊和杂菜饭摊不错,价钱也合理。
Try the western lamb loin and satay. The satay is above average. Will come back but not the western lamb loin, meat to hard and expensive at 12 dollar.
A coffee shop with lots of yummy stalls. Most stalls are popular with long queue except the Indian food stall.
Patronised the Indian stall for a couple of times, my family gave up. Lousy attitude more than once. For example, no queue during off-peak hrs, yet refused to reheat the cold pre-cooked prata.
Food prices are popular, ingredients are fresh, and parking is easy.
食物价格大众化,食材新鮮,停车方便。
Nice coffee
1st visit dated Oct ’21.
Long Q for big prawn noodles so we try the kueh stall selling chwee kueh, chee cheong fun, yam cake, nasi lemak, otah… etc.. instead.
Managed by a kind understanding friendly, good service, caring Aunty.
when I ask for no oil chye po for the chwee kueh, she quickly scooped up the chye po to drain away the oil and answered no problem..!
I praised her for her kind understanding and she claimed will try to drain away the oil as much as possible when she is free..
Eaten halfway through i saw she is selling nasi lemak too. So I ask her to prepare take away for me and she asked me to sit till she pass me the take away food and return me the change..
Hardly can meet such a good service in the neighborhood coffee shop..
Will be back again for your kindness and support you Aunty!
Warm friendly coffeeshop. Cool neighborhood vibes. Staff are actually happy and cheerful. In the afternoon I was there, the cze char stall folks were working to the sound of disco music while prepping up for the evening. There were friendly exchanges and teasing between the stall holders, and the energy was positive. This is a good place.
Like nice coffee Shop
Love the XLBs and 锅贴. Much better and cheaper than the famous restaurant D**.
Char siew n roast pork are tender and flavourful too.
Egg tart is …
One of the best pork satay and sauce ever eaten. Only order the pork version as it is slightly charred and the meat is juicy. The peanut sauce is topped with a generous spread of pineapple so it’s really good with a little bit of sourness to balance the sweetness of the peanut sauce . The chicken and mutton versions are nothing to shout out for though.
Do visit this stall if u want good comfort food!
Tea and noodle is not bad
Lots of people. Good food. No seats most of the time.
Most expensive coffee shop prawn noodle ever patronised. SS5.50 to $13.50 per serving! But the most delicious prawn noodle and the authentic soup is……wow…..sedap. And always patronise at odd timings. When I visited at 4pm, no queue.
Bak Chor Mee, Prawn Noodles Soup and Satay are delicious.
This coffeeshop have a store that very very good bak chor mee.. It taste very good.. Go try it…
The rojak is one of the best you can find in sengkang!
Coffer not to standard n no taste of coffer. Recently all drinks increase by 10cents. Coffershop is warm n humid.
Food here is quite nice. Got roasted duck, Prawn noodles, western food…. All are quite nice. If u happen to be nearby, can come over to try the food here.
It’s a gem in the neighbourhood. The white bee hoon and xiao long bao are a MUST-TRY.
Food reasonable but so so
Like the chicken pie and egg tart there
24 hrs kopitiam and the fishball mee are superb!
Tea taste stolen
Tea taste goid
Good and affordable place. Some stalls open 24 hours here. Would recommend eating the zhi char and seafood white bee hoon here.
nice food
Many delicious food, Tze Char, Chinese Rojak, Satay, Roasted Duck and Pork, western food and Bak Chor Mee …
Decent coffee shop with prawn Mee shop which is nice
24 hours, great place for supper.
A kopidiam which have one of the best prawn noodles in that area. There are about 10 stores in the coffeeshop. There is a multi storey carpark just beside the place that means parking have no issue. There is also a small supermarket for your post meal shopping activities. There is wheelchair access to the place with plenty of seats available
Great Prawn mee and Tze Char but place a bit small and crowded with beer drinking customers. Hard to get a seat….
The Minced meat noodle not bad. Worth trying.
Famous Prawn Noodles
This is a funny stall Alway open very late Have many nice food .What open at 12 noon .Can open early like 10.30an Har
Chicken rice shop ftw, generally sells out before dinner.
For the “famous” noodle shop near the drinks store, they are rarely open for long, usually night time only; when they are open, expect long queue.
Nice zi char, nice satay….if you ever passby thos area, worth trying
Prawn noodles & prata is good.
Damn good zhi char
Small coffeeshop under multi carpark, has many stalls selling local delights even at 8pm. Fish all noodle is ok but not for the laska. Satay not too bad, the gravy is thick with pineapple and can taste out the peanuts in it. Even at 9pm, this coffeeshop is still quite crowded with beer drinkers and diners
You can find food even after 10:00 pm
Nice Indian n Economic rice. So is the coffee.
Food are ok. One thing to note is the lady that clean the table, she only clear the tray. You have to clean the table by yourself. Encountered and saw her doing that a couple of times. In times like this, the hygiene level is not up to basic standard.
Enjoy the roti prata here every morning after my early morning walk… Even the stall selling drinks knows what I want to drink before I place my order.
Nice place. Plenty of food options.
Very nice minced meat noodle.
A nice place
Variety of food choices here.
For disclosure, this review is done after having visited the outlet after hours, so am only sharing about service and what was available then. Horlicks was NOT available. Hot drinks, as a normal setup, was passable (coffee/tea)… Pastries offered looked just okay-tried a tuna puff pastry, which turned out to be SPICY!! (NO indication on label) was not very palatable… Service at the hour (past 1am)was not great, and the crowd (or not crowd, but group) were out to just have a drink and many were smoking…(even outside of designated areas, but no surprise) Food which otherwise this place is known for is supposedly well-known (like prawn noodles and others) will possibly append to current review when able.
The coffee are nice
