My family most frequent visited mall. One of the place where you can find NTUC Finest Outlet. Plus a lot a lot of F&B Outlet, mass variety to fill your taste bud. Only issue is always long queue to enter the carpark …

Have improved as there’s a Japanese food Street, other restaurant in other corner, specialist store and daiso at 4th storey…. Make it much easier to do shopping.
But car park is still messy, 2 level 3A which is a bit confusing, should make it level 3A and level 3B to avoid confusion. Other level, I’ve not really observed.

One of the bigger malls in Serangoon area. It does attend to your shopping needs. Fairprice Extra, Uniqlo, Isetan and some tech/hardware shops are notable stores. The mall is almost always crowded though!

The mall is not the biggest but still there are a nice variety of eateries and other shops. However, the floor layout is rather strange and it’s difficult to see the shop names wherever you are!

My Favourite place to hang out! If you are here for fun gifts and novelty products, do check out THE NOVELTY GUY box which is in this shop called HAKO. The staffs there wil guide you to the boxes. Just tell them “The Novelty Guy” Boxes.

    Uh Ok???

It’s okay, like a regular mall. The variety of shops there are nice however. H&M, Cotton On and Uniclo all beside each other was very convenient. There are many facilities there such as the MRT being right beside the mall, And bus interchange being considerably nearby as well. Not too Crowded either and crowd is well maintained.Overall, a fun place to go with friends and family.

Huge regional mall in the Serangoon area with a good and comprehensive variety of retail and eateries. There are also 2 supermarkets, a library and a cinema. It has just about everything under one roof. You can find anything you need in this mega mall.

If you are in Serangoon, this is a mall to goto. It has everything. The best thing about Nex for Vegetarians is the presence of vegetarian restaurant “Greendot”. The best veggie Laksa in town. Fantastic place to spend an evening strolling around.

Not my favourite mall but it has alright variety of shops and food. Usually pretty crowded. I don’t really like the layout of the place but when you are in Serangoon you can’t really be choosy.

Initially felt that the mall layout was confusing, if you wander around via escalators. This was compounded by the vivid situation where accesses were restricted and controlled.
However, if you take the elevator to your target floor and shop it’s much earlier and less painful. Also recommend to park at abutting hdb multi storey carpark. Makes life easier for yourself then parking in Mall’s carpark.
All in all, good selection of shops, though can be quite crowded given the recent relaxation of covid restrictions.

Good combo of food, library, cinema, 2 food courts…and there is now at Daiso. Woohoo!

Recommended to park at the MSCP behind the mall as the queue to get into mall car park can take quite long. Else just take the train and alight at Serangoon since the mall is linked to 2 train lines (NEL & CCL)

Today (18/06 – 12.15pm) we experienced great customer service by the carpark security. My hubby forgot to top up his cash card and we were stuck at the barrier. I asked the security for help at the carpark entrance. As there’s oncoming traffic fr the slope, he helped and guide me to the 1st level top up machine. I really appreciate his help. I Forget to ask for his name as I was in a hurry. Great service!

Car park is bad during peak hours. Was stuck for more than 15mins in a not moving queue from the highest level when leaving the carpark due to the poor design. Especially when some cars are waiting for lots, stop at area near ramps or doesn’t leave ample space for other to overtake and move by them.

Very few seating area and cafes.

Nex @Serangoon Interchange is a Big Mall. It may not count amongst the biggest in Singapore,  still its a very big mall.

It’s well connected by MRT to the North East Line and Circle line. Its also connected to the Serangoon Bus Interchange.

While I was at the mall today it was not crowded,  however I must mention that this mall gets very crowded during peak hours.

Atm machines from a couple of banks can be found here.

The mall has 2 Supermarket’s in Cold Storage and FairPrice Xtra. Oh and before I forget, ISETAN is here too.

Several retailers have set up shop here.

Dining options are plenty and you will most certainly find something to eat. The mall operates between 10:30am and 10:30pm everyday.

Mall has a large range of shops and is easily accessible by public transport, being connected to Serangoon MRT and a bus interchange. It is one of those malls with very high footfall and is filled with people from all walks of life. If you drive, park at the HDB multi-storey carpark that is connected to the mall as the one at the mall is very small and it is very difficult to find a parking lot unless you drive to the higher floors.

What has changed in NEX in 2022?

    Many changes particularly in F&B.

What’s new or good to eat at Nex for family?

    1) American Diner Five Guys took over Nandos at B1

Serving milk shakes and all American fare. However, prices are on the high side. Good place for family due to spacious setting.

    2)Penang Culture
    What we like?
Price are not too high with good seating
Not too crowded on weekdays. Local familiar cuisine and you can find a good selection of desserts like chendol and ice kachang.

3)Akitmitsu – ramen and tendon with nice broth.
The familiar Aijisen brand with children meals going around $10.90. can choose rice or ramen. Falls in a rather affordable range for family (expect to pay around $50 or so for a family of four).

    Closed due to pandemic
Rooftop outdoor mini water park for kids is a good place for family to go before the pandemic. Now it has seen better days and is nothing to rave about.

This is a nice mall with many shops from lifestyle, fashion, electronics retailers and tons of restaurants and eateries. The only problem with the place is the crowd and getting up and down the escalators and carpark is a challenge. The designers probably didn’t think about crowd when this was designed. Maybe a re-configuration of the escalators might helps with crowd control.

Nex mall has a lot of services like banking, food, entertainment and even a library! I couldn’t ask for me, except it can be crowded at times. While Nex is the largest shopping mall in this part of Singapore, I feel it has a lot of good things going for it. It’s conveniently located within the Serangoon Bus Interchange and the Serangoon MRT station. Talk about accessibility. It’s not too often you find a shopping mall with two food courts, Food Junction and Food Republic all in the same building.

A modern, spacious neighbourhood mall right in the heart of Serangoon

An abundance of food options awaits your taste buds from East Asian to Western and everything in between. Satisfy yourself with endless shopping from Sephora to H&M or indulge in some Baskin Robbins or Coffee Bean after a week of hard work. Not to mention an arcade, cinema, library, supermarkets and other shops that cater to various services

Highly recommended mall for patrons of all ages and group sizes! Five stars ⭐️!

One of the biggest malls in the northeast of Singapore. There are many shops here, like Fairprice Xtra, Popular, Lego and many more! Dining options include Food Junction, Food Republic (yes, there are 2 food courts), Collin’s, and a Japanese-themed food area! Besides those, there is a library at the rooftop (not a very big one) and a cinema. The mall can get quite crowded during peak hours or weekends and the carpark is not a very well-designed one, so minus one star.

Life has fully returned to NEX. retailers are busy and happy, shopping is fun. Like to share experience at Burger King @ NEX. It’s a very nice, cosy quick service restaurant ..nice ambience. But somehow Burger King has never tried to benchmark higher standards, as compared to McDonald’s. Both are in NEX, but one look at McDonald’s, one can see the difference in attracting customers. I tried the strawberry sundae at both McDonald’s and Burger King…the one at Burger King is really way below quality compared to McDonald’s. Look at food hygiene standards.. Burger King leaving burger buns on the floor.

A great heartland mall. It is one of the larger mall in a housing estate. Located just about the Serangoon MRT station hence very accessible. Plenty of food option, a cinema and a huge supermarket it is great place to spend an afternoon weekend. However parking could be better and with drop-off, bus stop and the taxi stand all in the same space at the front of the mall is disaster waiting to happen.

Nex mall located above Serangoon MRT is a huge mall with good mix of retail shops , F&B and many other leisure services like cinema/library and wellness and personal grooming. It offers much convenience to shoppers with great choices of restaurants and two big supermarkets. Personally like this mall which enable me to do my banking and marketing and also having meals all under one roof.
However, l would avoid this mall during weekends as the crowd can be overwhelming . The escalator at the front of Guardian pharmacy leading to first level is perpetually jammed. Overall, the mall is very clean and well maintained.

NTUC, library, cinema all within 1 mall.

‘Phatunam’. Food was slightly better than average.
