Halal coffee shop that offered wide range of food variety. They have western, padang, turkish, noodle, ayam penyet and seafood zi char.

Tried their teh tarik (not too sweet) and turkish (arabisk) stall. The food is okay, was expecting more for $7 kebab, but the meat isn’t flavourful. The seller was helpful and friendly.

This establishment is like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. The service you get depends on what time you go. At times you will get lousy service and the staff can’t be bothered. I notice that they have increased the hot drinks by 10 cents and cold drinks by 20 cents. Totally exploiting the situation and unjustified. Overall still a good place to hang out and Tender Best chicken is still worth the money. But service is not guaranteed. A new kebab stall just started and the beef is pretty good. The guys are not local and they should smile more often. Be friendly so customers will return.

I like putu piring,I am glad that they open a stall in AMK. I kind of have sweet tooth, and feel some thing is missing out of me if I don’t take some sweet staff. I like the combination of rice cakes with gula meleka plus pandan and coconut. They have a stall in Haig road, but is too far for me. I ever think of going but failed to do so. I am so excited that I bought two packet back to share with my Malay neighbors.

What time they can serve the customer ? I came at 8.30 am. Fish ball noodles stall told me she open at 9.30 am. After I ordered my food from next stall. I saw a chinese customer came and she served it. My daughter came forward and questioned her “I thought you told my mum u open at 930am?” Without any guilt, she responded “my food ready so I start to sell la” which she clearly doesn’t mentioned that earlier. She could have said wait a moment my food is getting ready instead of giving us the timing. We came at 8.50am . The other customer came at 8.56am and was served immediately. 608 tea tarik

This branch here is very slack, all stalls are not manned until when there is 2 or more customers queuing at stall.
The food? Not up to standard.
The drinks? All are prepared prior to order, meaning, not fresh. If you ordered ice milk tea, they only add ice and is ready.
The stall holders are doing things of their own at their own sweet time, super slow.

There are good food stalls. But the Sultan Kebab will move out end of May. Management has chosen a higher bidder I supposed. One serious drawback is the young rather heavy seller at the drink stall. He is downright rude, even when you are nice. I told him off one day in a slow soft but stern voice. He was angry that the water boiler was not functioning well and was rude to me. I’m not the only one he has been rude to. He knew that I would not stop there if he responded rudely.

The Seafood stall cooks a good range of food like a restnt as shown on its menu. On an individual basis, its or fan, ee mein n other variety of noodles are done well.
The drinks stall sells a good range of drinks. Its tehtarik lives up to its name for just $1.20 a glass.
The fish soup stall uses bahtan fish
A bowl of fish soup w rice/noodles will hv also tauhu, tomato, veg n 8 pieces of fish for $5. The serving is much more than provided in a food court.

Situated in a quiet area of Ang Mo Kio serving all Halal food. Good variety including fish ball noodles, laksa, fish soup, nasi lemak, chicken rice, of course mee siam etc, the usual Halal Food. For morning, pai n Siew mei, etc….
Only feedback, the prices of all the food on offer are all above average prices. Some can be $1 more than hawker centre prices.

Dislike the staffs with angsty/cranky faces esp chicken rice and fishball soup stall. Food always awesome for Chicken Pita, Wanton Noodle and Chicken Rice. Sadly now NO MORE AYAM PENYET from the chicken rice stall like why only take away/delivery?? Quite disappointed. Overall ok just some of the Malaysian staffs stop with ur angsty/cranky attitude. Be friendly to your customers! Im sure we will always come back ! Service a meh..

Highly recommend the Ayam Penyet here at the Mr Teh Terik coffeeshop at Blk 608 Ang Mo Kio Ave 5. Be careful with the chilli which is super spicy and sedap (delicious) and has a class of its own.

Store is hemmed a hardworking, pleasant and polite young ah bang!

Check out the stall if you are in Ang Mo Kio vicinity or at Upper Pierce Reservoir for a walk or cycling! The Ayam Penyet is comparable to some famous ones and i would say out rival them as well.

Went to eat at the new middle eastern stall ..I had the quesadilla.
It was okay ..fresh ..the beef was plain . The vegetable can taste and was season with spices .
I will say it a nice healthy dish (and u don’t need to add mayo or chili’s in my personal opinion)

Definitely will try it other menu item next time !

    I give the food 3/5
But the food court as a whole..it a nice neighborhood standard. Worthy for family diner
