Located in Wheelock building, this place has gotten better over the years. More clothes to cater to different shapes and sizes, a huge variety of microwave TV dinners, beef & chicken, wines, imported fruits & vegetables, chocolates and fluffy pastries…I could go and on. I really like their hand creams and they have gone above than their usual lavender scented creams.. with more unique smells now. I highly recommend M&S to folks who are are looking to buy good quality stuff. They do have special promos every now and then so it’s worth a check.

This was the pre-cruise stay in Singapore and I discovered that I didnot have apparels for the hot and humid weather. It so happened Mark and Spencer was on sale, could be 2 stores left along the Orchard road). The merchandise was average to slightly above average, the staff’s manner was excellent, but the spacing was a bit crowded. It is a place worth a visit during the leisure time.
Had an amazing selection of food and all the Xmas stuff is out. Highly recommended! Women employees in clothing section were very helpful.
However, the employee in the food section who were stocking… he put us off… needs some basic customer service skills (no eye contact, NO smile, crisp responses that made us feel like were disturbing him).

A large outlet by Mark & Spencer strategically located at Wheelock Place. Getting there is easy by MRT. Prices are a lot higher as compared to their outlets in London.
M&S Store is not for everyday middle class family. The store has everything classy and really good stuff.
From ready to eat soups, salads, pasta, to Bakery items to fresh juices. It hs some of the finesh stuff available in food store.

Coffees and beverages are good enough and reasonably priced. Carrot cake and chocolate lava cake with ice cream are both far too sweet and lacking in flavour. Service is perfunctory but efficient. Not good enough for a return visit.

It’s more of a niche supermarket than a fashion store for me. Impressive selection of wines. My favorite is the Prosecco. Great selection of biscuits, cookies, ice cream and chocolates. Go for the New York cheese cake. Simply superb.

It is a pity to see many department stores are closing down and our shopping habits are moving more towards online. Marks and Spencer at Wheelock is one of the few remaining where you can still enjoy traditional department store shopping. I recommend you to visit the store during GSS or Christmas as they give really attractive discounts. Meanwhile, they have added M&S supermarket where you can get yummy M&S branded snacks

The M&S cafe at Wheelock – overall a disappointing experience. Based on my M&S experiences in the UK, Philippines, etc. my expectation was that the one in Singapore would at least be as good. I ordered a Cappuccino which was quite a decent cup. The vanilla sponge muffin has been my absolute favourite in all of the M&S menus. To my utter disappointment, the sponge muffin here had a rock hard exterior, was ice cold inside and so not a sponge! The carrot cake was just okay. Recommend only for coffee, get your pastries elsewhere!

Beautiful outlet & atmosphere! I worked here as an intern back in 2017. The downside to it was, there were a lot of kiss ups who wanted to get a promotion, along with some backstabbers & gossipmongers. Hopefully these people no longer work there. Otherwise, I really recommend this outlet! Ps, there were some really annoying customers who think they’re The CEO or something.

Have visited this place since long time. Personally not really interested on the clothes- not that cheap and not so cool but grocery shop inside is love to visit. It has smells of European groceries and more natural.
Good quality materials and design in wide range of clothing like jeans, tees, office wear, party wear, pyjamas….. The food section has biscuits, shortbread, chips, sandwiches, cakes all of which are yummy and which you’ll not find anywhere else.
I couldnt afford any of the items inside if i were to shop normally HAHAHA but the shop interior is rlly nice and the all the products are placed orderly so it was a rlly chilling shopping exp i would say. they sell everything from pastries to snacks & drinks to clothing even which i didnt know of

Black Friday and yet not cheap
A big Marks and Spencer store in the middle of the Orchard Road Malls. I found the usual foods that I love back in London. But, they are even more expensive than in London!!! Staff didn’t bother to open extra cashiers, even when there were huge queues. What a pity!
My favourite place to look for clothes because of my size (read: large size). Quite fashionable, reasonable price (at least some of them), and high quality sewing and fabric. Recommended for bigger bodies …

We sat at the tables outside and ordered afternoon tea, fish and chips and jacket potato. The waiter was polite and efficient. The scones were served warm with clotted cream and jam. They tasted delicious.
The only improvement I can suggest is they should adjust the air conditioning inside because it made it too cold. We changed tables and went outside because of that.

Went to the lady clothes section at Wheelock and bought 2 pants. I didn’t realise that one of the pants has the security tag that should cause the alarm at the entrance/exit to beep. Only realise it when I wanted to remove the price tag to wash the pants and that the store does not have the alarm system at the exit (else it would have beeped) when I exit.
I had to go back to the store to get it removed. The cashier told me that they do not have the gadget to remove it and recommend that I bring it to their sister company Mango to remove it. In addition, the price tag was still on and is marked in Ringgit, not SGD. Fortunately Mango cashier helped to remove it.
Suggest M&S cashier do a check on the clothes before packing into the bag for the customer. Otherwise, it would have been a very pleasant experience at M&S. I also bought a box of cinnamon biscuits which I enjoyed very much and will definitely revisit M&S for it.
Tucked in a corner is their Food Hall. It’s stocked with lots of British goodies. Two thumbs!

Marks and Spencer takes the main tenancy here. The best part of this store happens to the one hidden right art the back, their food section. Clothes and shoes takes up the rest, with not much to offer.

The food hall is where I head to whenever I am here. If I am not flying to UK, here’s where to get some British items. It’s tucked at the back of the building so make a walk to get here. It’s pretty well stocked.
The vegetables are of better quality than any other in town. Garments – not suitable for Singapore weather and expensive.
Bought a few bread from the bakery section and a top. Went to the counter n was attended by this lady, Jane & a trainee. My husband and I asked if the counter was still open as it looks like it was already closed. The staff named ‘Jane’ provided us very bad customer service. She was unsure abt the promotion in the store & was grumbling abt the store management marcom (who kept changing the promotion from time to time) while serving but the trainee to my surprise had better customer service skills! If you do not have the patience or can do attitude, please do not work in this line.
I can only speak about the underwear section. The assistant was amazing, patient and professional. She clearly knew her stock extremely well and kitted me out with well-fitting bras for which I am extremely grateful.

The food hall isn’t as large as those in England, but they still carry many of the same goods.
A delightful place to have a break after a fierce shopping expedition in the shopping heaven. Coffee and tea were served in a big cup, making you feel so welcomed fir a longer rest. Complete them in a set with the scones or have an sandwich to tally rejuvenate self before furthering your war for bargains.
M&S has expanded its food section however I was a little disappointed that the freshly baked bread were not available during the visit. Perhaps it was due to the COVID restrictions.

M & S has a lot of great food selections. Unfortunately, not a lot of shoppers for the clothing section when I was there. I think it’s due to the price, and the fact that there are many local options for clothes and shoes. However, this is my go-to shop for quality underwear, chemise and pajamas.
As good as a Marks & Spencer is in Singapore. Normal selection. Spread out and doesn’t feel claustrophobic. And now, the food selection has just got better with chilled food being flown in. The Cafe is a welcome add-on, and I suspect it’s going to be too small to serve the demand.

Crowded due to weekend. Need to re queue to enter their food section.
The paying counter had initially 2 queues at equal length so I queue at one randomly, eventually the other queue started to get longer than mine till when I was 2nd in-line I was told by the manager(assuming since he was in suit) who was at the counter all this time that I had queue incorrectly and had to requeue at the longer line, I refused so I gave up my purchase entirely. It wasn’t that I had queue wrongly but the paying counter is a one queueline system and their inattentiveness had allowed 2 queues to formed up, when they eventually realized it they just conveniently succumb to majority by making the shorter line to re-queue at the longer one. Such ineptitude will simply helps online shopping thrive.
Always a delight to shop at Marks & Spencer, where one can expect great customer service. Although clothing prices are slightly above average, this is my family’s go-to place when we want quality items (e.g. work pants, inner wear that will last). Staff are always helpful and very knowledgeable.
Clothing aside, I love how the selection at the Food Hall has been expanded with so many more choices now! With all the price hike globally still a good place to shop for a random pair of jeans, good to see they have $50 jeans..not half bad. Compared to other fast fashion brands prices are reasonable.

Located in Wheelock building, this place has gotten better over the years. More clothes to cater to different shapes and sizes, a huge variety of microwave TV dinners, beef & chicken, wines, imported fruits & vegetables, chocolates and fluffy pastries…I could go and on. I really like their hand creams and they have gone above than their usual lavender scented creams.. with more unique smells now. I highly recommend M&S to folks who are are looking to buy good quality stuff. They do have special promos every now and then so it’s worth a check.
This is the biggest Marks & Spencer in SG (I think) and is well-stocked with F&B, clothing and all sorts of knick-knacks. Worth a trip down once in a while to stock up on your fav M&S stuff. Free delivery if you reach a certain spending.

This particular one has a great market plus a cafe, all of which make for a great experience. Love the selection at the market … Fresh plus packaged, even beer and wine. Cafe has nice food and a wonderful afternoon tea.
I’m surprised to know the return policy is different from the rest of the world. On returning items, they’d issue a gift instead of the money back… thats ridiculous

One word. AMAZING.
Marks and Spencer recently started bringing in fresh produce, and they are delicious. Though this comes at a slightly higher price, and I wouldn’t necessarily do my daily grocery shopping here, it’s a great “mini market” with a great variety of food, and worth the extra bucks! From fresh fruits and vegetables, to dairy products, even their ready to eat meals, the small area that the food hall takes up packs a great deal of choices. They have gluten-free options, lactose-free milk, desserts, cheese, drinks, food (fresh/frozen or ready to eat), and of course their “original” staples – chips, chocolate and snacks.
The fruits we’ve bought have been so fresh and tasty, their milk – delicious, and though not organic, not as expensive as you would expect it to be.
It may not be a place for us to do our daily grocery shopping, but will definitely pop in once in a while for a nice treat, and maybe when to stock up on some ready to eat meals!
Visited the cafe adjacent to the store. Ordered the tomato soup served with bread – this was exceptional and tasty. The eggs Florentine was alright, though the eggs were a little over cooked. Service is at best mediocre, do be patient with the young staff. Overall, a good selection food from snacks to desserts to mains. Brings back memories of the UK!
Although got good collections fitting rooms are worse n very small n very hot with less ventilation.
But liked automated checkout n very convenient n also staff is very supportive n guiding the first time users.
One of my fav places to shop especially if you are a traveller as the fashion keeps adapting to changing seasons. Great to shop for work clothes too..

My favourite is their chilli jam, but the other sauces/chutneys/condiments are pretty good as well!

I visit this branch for grocery. The tomatos are how they are supposed to taste. They are sweet with the right amount of tang. Just the tomato alone elevates a so-so salad to a gourmet dish. Unfortunately, can’t buy clothes from there anymore as the workmanships has deteriorated over the years.
When discounted, the price is cheap and the accessories are fashionable.

Flagship outlet that carries alot more stuff than rest of stores, staff are very friendly as well. They introduced self payment kiosks which help a lot. But queue for cashiers is kind of confusing, 3 diff lines but each cashier only flagged for the centre line customers.
The British department store and clothing store chain Marks & Spencer located in Wheelock Place. This is the flagship store of whole Singapore. Selling high quality fashion, high quality products, and stylish homeware, sold at great value-for-money. I love the M&S Mini Bites. Extremely delicious and a great snack.
I always shop at Marks & Spencer. Can only find my clothing here due to my size. Cheap n Good Fashion Style. A loyal fan.
M&S has a lot of good food items but the problem is they are regularly out of stock. You never know what they will or won’t have in stock and if there is something I really need I find I often have to visit several stores before I find it. Or sometimes wait several weeks.
Marks & Spencer has a wide variety of items from high quality clothing to a small range of food items. Very well designed and has a nice atmosphere. However it is quite expensive, so I don’t suggest coming here if you’re on a budget. But other than that, it’s great!

Unique snacks, but pricey clothes for its level of quality.
Classic example of a vertically integrated department store. Easy to get around in. Downsides are desirable inventory goes fast (they don’t keep good stock on hand) and a ton of time-wasters just cruising around for the air-conditioning. So it’s a bit of an obstacle course

Always a pleasure shopping here, wide aisles and usually not crowded. Clothes are great when they are on sale, which is like all the time. Their supermarket section is great too, really handy for picking up some groceries or even baked goods.

Whats not to love about M&S? It has fabulous food, snacks, worth it. Their cafe was full so we cudn’t go. Love their clothing too. Its a once a month trip for me. My daughter loves their cheese curls & popcorn snack.

Good variety especially for the festive season. Some cakes, mulled wine, and more which might be harder to find elsewhere. We got our Christmas tree here which was decent for the ~$60 price range.

A pleasant visit in the evening hours and being assisted by a friendly store executive using the self checkout terminals. The store has re-organised its merchandise esp in the food section with slightly wider aisles .what was lamentable was British bread are not coming in. Eg malt or Tiger bloomers . Instead the bread on offer is rather small and miserly vs to the previous Bloomers . They are selling it for the same price ! Isnt this profiteering ?
Like the freshly baked pastry at Orchard Branch There is a discount after 9.00pm! Good for those working late.
Other than that, prices are on the high side for everything!
