Came across this Indian Muslim eatery while looking for a late night eats place. It opened 23 hours. At 11pm, the venue was busy with diners and takeaways for roti prata (pan-fried flat bread) and mee goreng (fried noodles). Service is friendly and seating is in covered outdoors.

We ordered a mee goreng with mutton and fried egg, a plain roti prata and a the tarik (hot frothed milk tea) which amounted to less than $8. The roti prata was freshly made, tasty but a tad dense in places. The vegetable curry dip could have been thicker.

The made-to-order mee goreng was tasty with generous chucks of mutton but a little on the wet side. Would have preferred a bit more time in the wok with some charring. The milk tea was the usual sweetness of Indian milk teas. All in all, it was an enjoyable late night eat.

The nasi goreng Thai doesn’t stand out among any other fried rice dish in general, but for its price, it tastes good and you get a lot of it. The staff is easy going. However, to a foreigner who has no prior experience with real southeast Asian culture, they might seem rude and uncomfortable

It’s just a local Indian mamak place that serves halal food. It’s quite popular with the locals, but the wait for the food to prepare is quite long. Prata ordered was kind of soggy, and the sauce was thin and quite spicy and not really tasty. It’s not air conditioned, and hygiene is so so. Good thing, though. It opens till late.

Stumbled across this while searching for breakfast and ordered some roti prata. Glad I did cos they serve the best prata dipping curry I’ve ever tasted. Most places give you watered down bland curry but not this place. The mutton curry is incredibly flavorful too! The prata themselves could have been a little bit crispier…

The tulang merah here is excellent and generous. Coin prata is nice and crispy. The only thing I didn’t like so much is Maggi goreng so I’d stay away from that but highly recommend this place for the tulang merah alone. Milo here tastes great too, the teh O is a bit too sweet

Came here on a weekday late evening past dinner time. We took the tables on the outside corridor beside the street.
    Seating is very cramp.
Service is good though and the waiters are attentive.
They are also efficient in their ordering which makes for a good experience when dining in such lower cost places.
I especially enjoyed the prata. I had mine plain and it had a good texture and taste to it complimented by some curry sauce.

Food & Taste: Ordered the pratas and the pratas were all not bad. Flaky and not too thick and doughy. They are all thin. Didn’t like the onion prata so much but the egg, plain and mushroom pratas were okay.

Place: This is located at Balestier Road, not to be confused with ABC Nasi Kansar (Desker Road)

Service: Not bad. The food were delivered promptly. Though one of the prata packs were labelled wrongly but not a big issue since no missing order.

Price: Pretty reasonable. Price ranges from $2.10-$3.30 (per piece of prata) the mushroom one is abit more pricey

Waiting Time: Reasonable. Was not very long since time is still needed for food to be prepared.
