This is my first time tasting Sup Tulang Merah in Singapore. The taste is very delicious.
The seasoning is very light but it seeps into the meat and the bone marrow is something to enjoy.
It goes best with sliced bread. Mr. Deen himself provided excellent service.

I highly recommend this restaurant for those who like mutton.

    Great place to enjoy Tulang.
Owner even catered to our preference of taugeh no taugeh vege no vege and other nonsense with a cheerful, warm and friendly service. These alone make for a wonderful experience. Keep it up. Sorry no photos as we were too busy enjoying the food.

This is another one of our favourite late night supper spots. ️ We know it’s a unhealthy eating habit

But on raining nights when we want a bowl of Soup Kambing and more This is where we head to.

The broth of the Soup Kambing was thick and rich in flavours! Clearly, it was on the stove boiling over for a while… A long while. The meat was tender and we got a surprise piece of small tulang (bone with marrow) Simply Shiok!

The Mutton Dum Briyani was good too… While not the best, it’s good enough to sneak out in the middle of the night for ️ We’re bias and we know it cos we prefer the gravy laden heart stopping version

I’m still wondering why we added to the cholesterol filled meal by ordering the Cheese Fries and it was good! Served hot with GENEROUS amount of mayo and nacho cheese.

There are tons of other stuff to eat here… above are our favourites… Plus the 4 Prata Kosong and Prata Telur which we ate up before we realise we forgot to take pic for you what’s new, huh?

The signature dish Tulang Merah is just creamy and the sauce blend well with the taste of the bone marrow. The sugar level is just right unlike most places will have it too sweet for my palate.

Recommend to try mutton soup. Soup very flavourful n the mutton not too heavy tasting. One of the top mutton soups around. Quite afew meats though it’s abit pricey at $9

I didn’t like the mee goreng though. Too wok hey though portion is quite big.

Had their Maggi Goreng Combo and their drinks. In conclusion, may seem a little overpriced for mediocre food. $2 for Nescafé, $2.50 for teh cino and $12 for the maggi goreng combo where I replaced the mutton steak with more fries, that makes more sense to be priced cheaper.

Maggi Goreng was very mediocre, although I do appreciate them not dousing it with the food colouring.

The original. Sup Tulang Merah. I don’t know why but all my Malaysian guests insist on having this dish when they’re here in Singapore, and there is only one place I will take them to have it. M.A. Deen Biasa.

Bonus, if you don’t particularly crave for Bone Marrow and just want the meat and sauce, go for the Steak Kuah. It’s super good value! Lots of meat and very tasty.

Everytime I visit Singapore, this is the only restaurant that I HAVE TO go!

It has the original taste of soup tulang merah, with affordable prices. It cost only usd 20 for two portions of the soup.

I usually came here for lunch as it serves a big portion of meal. Unfortunately, the last time I went here in Dec 2022, it was still closed around 4 pm which turned out that on that day some staffs were unavailable so they needed extra break after lunch time. So I went back again in the evening to have my big dinner “)

This place is starting to get expensive for the type of service and food that we’re getting. $20 for 7 pieces of tulang + a loaf of baguette. One can argue that labour and raw food prices have increased over the years but I don’t see this being translated into the overall experience. This place will always be the go to place whenever I have my tulang cravings but they’re on a slippery slope if they think that they can command higher prices without having anything more to show for the hike. Did I mention the slow service and smelly toilets?

Feels tolerable. Ask for medium size, the price is SGD30.
Treat me a little. When we come, we are the customers, no one else. Another drink order until another. Ask for warm water twice, he doesn’t know. Go to the kitchen and ask him to share.
After eating red bone soup, a family coughed.

This is a very old and well established restaurant. Famous for its bone marrow and mutton soup. We had an opportunity to try and it was still as tasty as before. Boss was very friendly and chatty. Service was tip top even though they were a bit short handed. Flavourful maggie goreng also to compliment the meal. Also a must try!

Food is good, but when ordering the specialty ‘Tulang’, do ask the exact price as they will tell you based on the bones, not on pricing. You can get shocked when paying.

Went there for a very late dinner. The guy who took my order and served it (teh halia + naan with egg) kindly tried to answer my questions about their menu. When I was done with my meal, I went over to their mini bar of Indian rojak ingredients and I asked what type of sauce they serve their rojak with — if it’s spicy like the other type of rojak I’ve tried. He said it’s not spicy and it’s sweet. And with that, he went over behind a counter and put a little rojak sauce on a takeaway spoon so I can try it. It tasted good, like a savoury and sweet peanut sauce.

My must go to place whenever I’m in Singapore. The “sup tulang merah” is a must. The staff is friendly, even thought me the correct technique to enjoy my “sup tulang merah” . However, I do notice now that my fingers are no longer stained with the red sauce after I wash my hands. I used to have the red stains left on my fingers at least a day previously. However, still yummy as usual.

One of my favorite restaurant in Singapore. The beef briyani is really good, the meat is soft. The bone soup also makes you collect, just before ordering, don’t forget to tell me what the price is. In addition to 10 dollars there is also a price of 20 dollars. I like it here because it’s halal. The place is very ordinary. It just feels okay.
