This is my go to cafe for the best coffee in town. All the staff members are super friendly and professional. Since I’m a regular customer, they remember my preference and put syrup into my iced latte without me asking.
If you seek out excellent coffee in CBD, just check out this one.
Last but not least, their cakes and foods are so good, too

    Coffee was good.
Sadly the beef don was quite badly done. The beef was well seasoned and cooked, but for some reason almost every slice was cut along the grain, making it tough and chewy. So chewy in fact that I had to abandon my chopsticks mid-meal to get a knife and fork to cut the slices against the grain myself.
I don’t understand how someone who knows how to cook beef to the right doneness can also not know how to properly slice it.
Hopefully it was a one off mistake.

The food and coffee are really good, but staff here could work on their patience and kindness to customers. Am quite a regular customer, but have always noticed that staff are always short and a step away from rudeness with customers.

Glad to find a place that serve cortados and it did not disappoint. The carrot cake with sea salt caramel was not too sweet and went very well together. Cake was just a tad dry and crumbly. I like the large space and long tables. Plenty of seating available, even behind the baristas so you can see them work. Service was efficient and friendly. Order at the counter, get a number and they will serve your orders at your table. Like the bright, marble design of the place. Simple and classy. Was not too crowded at 3 plus in the afternoon.

I have it an average rating based on both food and coffee. The latter deserving at least four stars. The Japanese menu is ok, not particular outstanding. I would go to a proper Japanese restaurant over this place for food, because it is equally pricy. My latte was good though.

A good choice for a coffee stop and easy to find for meeting up with friends in the Downtown Gallery complex. I tried the long black which was strong and flavorful espresso-based. Service was quick. The hard materials and hallway location generates a lot of noise and walk through traffic, so this wouldn’t be my first choice of a cafe for quiet time with a book or trying to work. They have some tasty bakes to enjoy with your coffee.

The cafe itself is at the end of the OUE downtown building, a small open space but uniquely designed. The dropped by late on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm and was pleased to see that they were still operating with quite a crowd.

I had a hot white coffee and 2 mains as I was hungry. I enjoyed the salmon soba, all the ingredients came very nicely together and the salmon was cooked perfectly, not over cooked overall and maintained its tenderness. They messed up my order for the chicken stew and it took a long time to be served. When it was served it was too hot to consume. I didn’t enjoy the chicken stew as much and felt the broth could be a little thicker; it was almost a soup consistency. Nonetheless they were very generous with the ingredients. For the price, I found it to be very worthwhile.

A minimalist, sleek and downright gorgeous cafe, Lunar Coffee Brewers has secured its position as one of the most Instagrammable cafes in Singapore’s CBD with its whitewashed and blue gradient painted walls juxtaposed with their simple marble table tops and flooring.

A dining concept brought to you by the team behind the now-defunct Assembly Coffee and Atlas Coffeehouse, Lunar Coffee Brewers is the perfect place for office folk to enjoy a coffee with clients or even just as a space to take a midday break.

Even after half a year of operations, Lunar Coffee Brewers still houses a significant lunch crowd and tea-time crowd on a daily basis. Well, with mind blowing desserts, hearty mains and a lovely selection of coffee, we sure hope that this cafe will be here to stay for time to come.

Despite its rather unassuming set up along the thoroughfare at the entrance of a building, Lunar is a great place for coffee and the food is pretty decent too. The only problem is getting a seat during peak dining hours as they don’t accept reservations. That said, I’ve never had to wait too long to get a seat for all the times I’ve dined there. People tend to turnover their seats fairly promptly.

First time trying the rosemary chicken. Very filling and very flavourful. Shared the caramel pancake it’s light and fluffy. A lovely dessert to finish off.
Provides free flow of still or sparkling water.

Liked the food though waited 30 mins for take away chicken stew. During the wait, I’ve watched service crew stick their thumb into bowls, touching the food and using their hands to grab utensil before placing them on the plate…of course they also were cleaning tables…

Delicious fusion dons & sobas (avg price $15) with Aussie styled coffees. Do try their earl grey soft serve! It’s huge and full of flavour. Be prepared to wait a bit during lunch peak hours though.

Best cold brew.. on the first sip, the strong coffee hits you, followed by the sweet mellowness of the milk.. lovely combination

This place is crowded during lunch hours, not exactly conducive for talking but it’s a nice place to hang out after lunch hours. The decor is simple with jus enough little touches for instagram shots.

The Earl Grey soft serve is nice as well, but the portion is too big for one person, especially after lunch and coffee.

The Salmon Mentaiki Don (rice bowl) is perhaps the best I’ve tried. Taken together with an above-average latte makes this place one of my favorites in Singapore’s central business district.

I had a banana chocolate pie, it was the best I had ever tasted in my life! Crispy and thick for the pie skin; extremely creamy texture of the chocolate moose, full of flavor, so sweet but in a good way; the actual banana slices underneath, well mixture along with them all in the mouth, also there weren’t slashes of sea salt on the top it- which perfectly balance the salt and sweetness, sooooooo good!
Too bad I had coffee already earlier that day, that I didn’t order another cup of coffee, otherwise I would like to try their coffee as well!
And – love the decor and ambience, so chilling and cozy, highly recommended!

Being a non-coffee person, I was a bit worried at first about not being able to find something nice to drink here. Thankfully, the Matcha Warrior here was very pleasing on my palate and gave me some much needed relief from the scorching heat outside without being too overwhelming. The dark chocolate cheesecake looked quite heavy and dense but unexpectedly tasted light enough without compromising on flavour and texture. Nice try for the first time and will be keen to sample their savoury mains another day. Liked their relaxed vibe and the marble table tops which are a nice backdrop for Insta-worthy shots.

Bright and trendy cafe/restaurant at OUE Downtown Gallery 2. Coffee is excellent – best in the area – and cakes are good too – especially the chocolate cheesecake. Lunch options include interesting rice bowls with beef, chicken, pork, salmon, etc, all with onsen egg and very delicious!

Amazing food with super friendly staffs must visit and must try the delicious chicken stew and soba! The nut butter & banana sourdough bread was really good too though ask them to go light on the honey if you prefer it to be not so sweet.

Pretty decent lunch menu at Lunar Coffee. Coffee’s still good and enjoyable (not acidic). Had the beef don today after a long time, and it was surprisingly tasty and the serving was pretty generous. I’d likely go back for it again.

The ombre walls and sleek marble table tops, as well as the pretty plants, gives a minimalist yet stylish and cozy vibe. The coffees here are also very good, and definitely would work as a midday pick-me-up.

Quiet cafe at the corner of our downtown. It is not a stand alone space so don’t expect too much privacy. Menu is typical millennial cafe fare, had the mentaiko salmon don and matcha latte. Salmon had a generous heap of fish roe and matcha latte was sweetened pleasingly. A nice place for a quiet low key lunch.

One of my favourite places in tanjong pagar for good coffee and food! Love their milky way cold brew coffee, the earl grey soft serve and brown butter crumb prawn pasta. Truffle fries are a really generous portion and reasonably priced as well! Been here so many times that i’ve redeemed at least 3 complimentary coffees on their loyalty programme

It can get a little crowded during lunch and wifi used to be wonky but it’s all fixed now!
