This bridge leads to Lorong Halus Wetlands and the Coney island East entrance. Part of the bridge is shaded and a good place to take shelter if it rains suddenly. If taking public transport, you can take Bus 381 from Punggol temporary bus interchange and alight at Bus Stop No. 65561. Walk a bit further up and there is a path that takes you under the bridge by the waterway (Punggol Waterway). Walk along the waterway until you see the Lor Halus bridge on the right.

Lovely place. Been here twice in the last month for a good long walk. Last Sunday it was raining unfortunately and even though I had an umbrella I still got pretty wet. Two weeks ago walked all the way past the dam and into Coney Island. Most enjoyable as it is shaded most of the way. Alot of construction going on but there is a path which takes you around and out to the beach on the northern side. The Red Bridge itself is really good with a shelter part of the way along. But maybe there should be a rule to require cyclists to dismount and push while actually on the bridge.

Too many cyclists on the bridge. Some stopping by the side creating obstacles for those walking on the bridge, but you are still trying to dodge other cyclists. Pedestrians must be careful(especially if you have younger kids) as the cyclists are not courteous and will not slow down. It needs to be a safer place for everyone to enjoy the bridge.

Lorong Halus Red Bridge has become popular this day; due to overseas travel restrictions, local Singaporeans explore and re-discover the local attractions. The bridge, painted red, connected two sides of the Punggol promenade nature walkway and Lorong Halus Wetland.

Booth side has a high population as Punggol district gets busy with new apartments and condominiums. Lorong halus area is connected to the Paris Ris district, which is also another busy area.

During Covid-19 restrictions, Coney Island becomes popular as one of the cycling areas and walking destinations. This bridge also connected the access to the small beach and Lorong halus Jetty, which is popular as a fishing spot.

This is a nice bridge to stand around and admire the surroundings. My only issue with it is that despite the sign to dismount and push, lots of cyclists and PMD users ignore that sign.

No cycling on bridge but I still see people cycle pass. railing is quite high so I would assuming it is safe for the kids to walk about on the bridge, just be careful of the on coming cyclist.
