Very disappointed with the taste and food portions.

We tried the bo bo chicken (just ok), grilled bullfrog (not a lot of meat and not flavorful), green beans (small portion, avg taste), Chong qing chicken (good texture, bland flavor), and dry pot pork ribs (actually very good but small portion).

    No dishes really stood out.

As usual, dishes are delicious and the workers are friendly and polite. Price range is affordable too. Definitely recommend to others who like to eat Grilled Fish

The 干锅 ($33) was pretty enjoyable we had roast pork + prawn combination. The pork was crisp to the skin and tender at the meat. The cold beef dish was bad though, super dry almost like jerky and wasn’t even cold when served. Average of $25 per pax without drinks. Wouldn’t mind coming back again if I had a craving!

Food here was absolutely amazing. Tasted really authentic and delicious, the ambience was pretty good as well. The staff here also showed some initiative to pass me another pair of chopsticks when I dropped my pair. In this day and age, especially in Singapore, this action could be praised as great service and it says alot about the service from other F&B outlets in this country. Overall very satisfied with the quality of food and service from this restaurant. Highly recommend this place to any of my Chinese friends looking for some authentic tasting dishes. Do keep in mind that the pricing here may be a little on the high side, but money well spent nonetheless.

I often go to a restaurant. The food is very delicious, and the decoration of the store is also good. It has Chinese characteristics. It is opened by the owner from Sichuan. The taste is very good, and the business is very hot. I personally recommend him. People who like spicy food can try her home, what is it.

Came here on 15th April. The food is good but there’s one particular waitress that was unbelievably rude. As we came and hour and a half close to their closing time, she showed her annoyance when serving us through her bad tone. When she served us the drinks, she slammed it on the table showing her displeasure. Having worked in the F&B industry before, I know this is no way to treat a customer. No matter how good the food is, it only takes a server with bad attitude to ruin the whole dining experience.

Love the celery in the dry hot pot, crunchy and juicy, match the dry hot pot so well. However this dry hot pot is a little bit too salty, need to be careful if you concern about your sodium intake

Was here on a Saturday and left my number for them to call me back when there is a vacancy. I was told that there was 5 tables ahead of me and I saw 3 new tables seated. Dry pot or Ganguo (干锅) is a traditional dish in Sichuan Cuisine, but it taste very different from the at-present very popular Mala Xiangguo. A list of ingredients can be added on top of the combination set, which is already very filling. The Bo Bo Chicken (Bo Bo Ji 钵钵鸡) which are skewers dipped in mala soup is worth trying too!

Especially the dry pot with the taste of hometown.
The duck feet are soft and tender, and then my favorite dry stir-fried sausage, the amount is large and it is very crispy! Big push! Can add vegetables.
The couple’s lung slices with cold salad dishes are also a must. The price is very affordable, but it is a bit unbelievable to add a 10% service charge, which may be the reason for the weekend.
But still enough to keep me coming back.

I was seated outdoor, the table distance is more than 1 meter for outdoor seats, but it seems very squeezy for the indoor seats, and the restaurant was full-house during my visit (Friday night). Ordered a combo dry pot (roasted pork + shrimp), a fried corn kernels wrapped in salted egg, a white rice, just right for two (sgd63). I saw a lot of people ordering 2-3 main dishes at a table for two people, but they couldn’t finish the package in the end. The roasted pork has a heavier and tougher taste, and the shrimp is good. Dry pot is relatively salty, and it is neutralized with white rice. Will come again next time.

We decided to try out a diff restaurant on Liang Seah St instead of our fave Xiang Xiang (Hunan cuisine). Kuan Kuan food is pretty tasty featuring cuisine from ChongQing and Chengdu. This restaurant also specializes on dry hotpot but for this round we tried on the site fry bamboo shoot and some other iconic dishes from ChongQing and Chengdu such as the spicy chicken dish called 辣子鸡 (la zi ji). You can also choose the level of chilli spiciness as well as pepper numbness level. Decided to go back soon with a bigger group of friends to dry other dishes.

A friend invited my wife and I to dinner and wanted us to try mala xiang guo food. Apparently it has been a thing in Singapore for a while.
I had eaten this style of food some years ago in Chengdu.
We were hoping to find a food stall but settled for this as it was late and we were a bit peckish.
Service was prompt and friendly and we ordered a beef hot pot, some fried fish, and a couple of vegetable dishes.
All were good. We asked for slightly spicy and that turned out to be a good choice. We had a nice tingle in our mouths without numbing our lips.
All washed down with Tsingtao that we drank Singapore-style, with ice.
