During lunch time, I tried the fishball soup which came with 6 balls and a hearty soup, yummy! For carbohydrates, I bought Ipoh duck horfun which were tasty and smooth.

Only try not to have the desserts after 8pm as some might not taste good or even slightly sour like the Tau suan.

Food at most stalls are tasty- ban Mian, mala, vegetarian, economical rice. However, ban Mian lady sometimes forgets to add ingredients. Once she forgot to add ikan bilis. Another time nearly forgot to add egg. Vegetarian and economical rice are both tasty but expensive. 3 dishes plus rice at vegetarian stall costs $4.40. 1 meat, 2 veg plus white rice at economical rice stall costs $4.20. This is despite choosing cheaper cuts of meat. For stir fried beef, one serving is $2.50.

There is a dispute between the app and the stall in price.

I always order via the app for the 10% discount and convenient as my office to here have 7 or 9 min walk. I could order while walking and when I reached. Food almost ready. But this Western food no connection of internet or what but they still give me the food items that I ordered via app ( Paid).

There is another dispute at the yong tao foo stall the app show $ 4.20 but the stall is $3.60 for 5 pcs. Kindly inform the stall that you had paid $4.20 should count as 6 pcs and the app 6 pcs should count as 7 pcs $4.80.

I have always patronised this outlet whenever I shop at sheng siong supermarket. Everything is ok except the half boiled eggs today looks unusual yellow on the white and when I asked for a exchange they gave me a cracked one where the water already seeps into the egg makes it watery(not for consumption) I ended up not eating both cause one looks exceptionally yellowish on the white and one is watery. My experience here is extremely disappointed.

The mix rice stall is too expansive and food is normal. Not fabulous. The soup stall is not bad on average price from $4 onwards. But it has changed owners several times in this last 2 years. Still decent.
I like the yong tau foo the best – decent price of 6 pieces for 3.50. Good service as the attendant is an elderly lady from China.
The Indian food is a little expensive and not attractively delicious.
Stay away from the chicken rice – super oily and always overcharge at the higher end of $4.50 onwards.
The rest of the store are – western, vegetarian, drink store, dessert store and a porridge store. That is all I remember – nothing fantastic and all very normal to atrocious.
Enjoy the millennial coffee shop in Singapore – far cry from the good old days.

Good to go for a meal here operated by Koufu (Tanglin Halt) as Sheng Siong super market is just next door. one can find a good variety of food n groceries to satisfy most family requirements., while Koufu has all the traditional local food such as chicken rice/noodles, yong tau foo, porridge, Indian rojak, western food, dessert,/fruit & coffee, tea n drinks with toast bread and food for snacks, etc. A place catered to the old & young alike.

There is a curry Chee cheong fun stall here and while it is a Substantial portion with lots of ingredients ( I ordered the $6.50 which has fried pig skin, taukee, roasted pork, char siew , fried meatballs) the curry was on the sweet side. Not spicy enough. Three are two types of chilli paste :
One dark red sweet one (meh)
One orangy slightly sourish spicy ( preferred choice )

At first I was impressed with the portion but the taste frankly is only so-so. After eating it halfway , start to feel “jelat” coz curry is sweet instead of spicy, and the cold fried meatballs contain more flour than meat . The roasted meat and char siew were cold and slightly tough.

The eggs and toast set was very cheap, at around $3 each. Eggs and teh were OK but the bread tasted rather stale.

The Zi Jia Ren Hakka Lei Cha (Thunder Tea Rice) was too expensive at $6.80 for the substandard quality.

Nice place for a quick meal during lunch and dinner. Parking is super convenient for drivers and riders. No need to worry about being fined for illegal parking. Highly recommended stall to visit are the vegetarian stall, Yong tau foo stall and the dim sum stall. Coffee and teas are nice too. After eating, there is a big supermarket located there for your groceries shopping. Recommended place to visit.

Had dinner here. Nice cool, calming environment inside. Foodwise, I especially like the soups from the double-boiled soup stall (it’s in the rear corner of the Koufu). Try the $6 mushroom- fish maw- chicken soup. Yummy! Tasty, but not too oily or salty. Goes with the pumpkin rice. …

Has good variety of food with reasonable prices of $4.00 to $10.00 depending on what you order and from which stall. Chicken and char siew rice is good value for money. Noodle stall and yong tau fu stalls are really good. The one vegetarian food stall is good with nice selection. Western food is disappointing. The stall : Fish & Chick use too much oil for every item from chicken to fish to fries. Service is unfriendly with a female counter staff who has a scowling, hostile face and who doesn’t acknowledge or thank you for your order. If you must eat western food, try going elsewhere.

I go there today is to meet a friend. I had my dinner there and I have curry noodle serve with chicken meat, Char siew long beans with Curry gravy and I had chendol for dessert. The mix food rice looks very tempting if I did not had the curry noodle I would have like to order the rice with the other dishes and another worth savouring is the malay food I saw lots of people ordering and eating. I will one of these day savour the dish there. And another worth trying is the Tim Sum cause they have many choices there I would usually get some home. This eating place have some good choices which would not hurt your wallet.

Koufu is a food court chain, no 2 are the same because each has different food vendors. The food is not bad at these food courts. I came to this location at Commonwealth Station because I knew it had local desserts/breakfast food. I find it hard to locate these stores nowadays, can’t find them in my local hawker center. I can find Taiwanese shaved ice in Chinatown area, but its it’s not the same as ice kacang. I was craving for tau suan (a mung bean dessert or breakfast food) and I got pulot hitam (black rice porridge with coconut milk) for my husband. Chinese desserts tend to be sweetened thin or thick soups or fresh fruits by itself. There’s a wide variety of food here, Indian Muslim, chicken/duck rice, soup noodle, rice with mix dishes etc. Bound to find you like.

This place is rather small; hence during the peak hours of about 6 to 8 pm, one may have to wait for diners to finish their meals before he or she can find a seat. That said, the dishes are generally satisfactory, and cater to a wide variety of palettes and tastes… My favourite is the ‘ Ban Mian Fish Porridge Soup’. For an additional dollar, one can request for an extra large serving of vegetables, in my case, I always ask for extra bitter gourd serving la… Then there’s the desserts stall where you can satisfy your sweet tooth will offerings like pulut hitam, tao suan, ice kachang, chendol, etc…
