Great chicken cutlet/honey chicken rice from the Taiwanese stall in SP Koufu. Chicken is well marinated but vegetable is not consistent. Sometimes they will give shredded cabbage, sometimes pickled vegetable so it’s a little difficult to manage your expectation. The 卤肉 given is also sometimes a lot, sometimes too little. Rice can be a little dry at times. But the chicken cutlet is bomb. Perhaps you want to just purchase the chicken cutlet

Nice foodcourt to stop by for good and cheap food but you have to know which stalls to order from as not all of the stalls are good. Some of my recommendations would be the local delights stall and the Taiwanese food stall. It’s quite big as well so it can accommodate a big crowd and it’s also air-conditioned so you can hide from the sun. However, despite it being quite big, the place can still be a little crowded during lunch time and it can be difficult to find a seat.

Good variety, but very crowded during peak hours, may need to wait 30 plus mins if you come in late. Taste of food isn’t the greatest but is acceptable based on the price. Comment on individual stalls I’ve visited: mala xiangguo has friendly staff there but from the food side it isn’t mala at all, as a native Sichuan person I can say it tastes like sweet guo, even the spiciest level is sweet to me, that’s for the la side, for the ma side and xiang side, there isn’t any ma nor xiang. For the chicken rice stall, every time I see so many people queuing, my classmates also say the chicken rice there is nice so one day I tried it once, the uncle there is not patient and the chicken is too old. My favorite stall is the western food, staff is friendly and the pasta there tastes great, of course, the best part is not too many people queuing.

Koufu, located at Singapore Polytechnic, offers affordable food options that cater to the student population. The establishment offers a range of dishes with prices ranging from SGD 3.50 to SGD 5. The menu provides a cost-effective option for students who are seeking a quick and convenient meal during their busy schedules.

During peak hours, such as lunchtime, the venue can become crowded and finding an empty table may become a challenge. To avoid this situation, it is recommended to arrive early, around 11am or a little later at 1pm. This will help ensure a more pleasant dining experience.

In terms of safety measures, the restaurant has implemented the use of plastic boards to separate tables, which serves as a barrier for increased hygiene and social distancing. However, due to the high volume of customers during peak hours, the venue may become congested, leading to a less spacious dining environment.

In conclusion, Koufu at Singapore Polytechnic is an acceptable option for those seeking affordable food and a convenient location. However, the busy crowds during peak hours and limited safety measures may be a concern for some diners.

Every koufu is slightly differently in the variety it offers, but generally the quality is consistently good. More pricy than other food courts, but it evens out of you have passion card or favepay. Even without discounts, koufu offers value for food if you are eating largely due to cleanliness

The Koufu here is much better than the one in NTU. At the very least, it is air-conditioned with bright signage. The stalls change sometimes so different food from time to time. Of course the setback is sometimes you like certain stall and later find that it is not there anymore. Haha.

The place offers a good variety of food and is rather affordable. Of course, as compared to other food courts on campus, it is on the pricier side. Do note that it is often very crowded as soon as it hits lunch time. I would recommend the mixed-rice store there as it is easily one of the tastiest meals I’ve had there.
