Typical foodcourt. Thunder tea lady is friendly n the food not bad.
Yong tau fu stall auntie also nice person n sometimes give extra ingredients. But food is normal only.
    Korean food is below average.
The popiah/noodle stall give very little ingredients for their noodles so its mostly carbs.
Beef noodle soup is nice but dry version not as tasty. Also mainly whole bowl of noodles n very little beef etc.
Economy rice stallholders are rude. Witnessed them shouting at customers who ask some questions.
On the whole, just go for a quick bite n dont expect anything more than average

Yishun 925 chicken rice is here. Tasty but a little stingy on the chicken portion. YTF stall is decent and has a variety of soup base to choose from. Odeon beef noodles – ask for the hand sliced noodles 刀削面. Mala stall is good. Japanese/Korean stall – don’t bother.

I kind of stumbled on this gem inside the foodcourt! Apparently, the signature was the special bee hoon (fried vermicelli) but I got the Laksa and Kueh Pie Tee instead. They were VERY DELICIOUS! I will try other dishes in my next visit. Anticipating!

    Update: 11 May, Thursday
Today, I had Lor Mee – Braised Noodles. Seriously, this is quite good! The balance of the braised soup and the noodles paired brilliantly with the condiments of braised pork belly, ngor hiang and slices of fish cakes. Chase it with raw garlic (yes, RAW!), secret chilli (hints of shrimp) and dark vinegar to complete this beautiful bowl of goodness! More updates soon when I come back for their signature fried bee hoon!

There is a new Vietnamese stall, that took over the western food stall. I tried it and it was quite good. Will try again the next time I am there, to see if it is consistent.

Food call is brightly lit, inviting and clean. It can be better if customers help to clear their stuff after a meal. Until then, 4 stars.

Overall, most of the stalls here have pretty good food. Breakdown below:

    1) Yong Tau Foo – 5 stars
Good quality with lots of veg to choose. 7pcs include noodle/ rice at $5.20

    2) Beef Noodles – 5 stars
Even though prices are on the higher side, serving is decent. Taste is good & beef is so tender. The Mala Beef Noodle is $8.50. Their cheapest dish is $6.50.

    3) Western Cuisine – 4 stars
A bit oily but Aglio is good. About $9 plus per main.

    4) Noodle Delight – 4 stars
Food a bit on lighter side, less oily. A bit pricey as portions quite small.

    5) Japanese Korean – 1 star
Kimchi ramen & dons really bad. Poor quality & no pride. Egg either raw or tasteles. Rice hard but stcky, noodles undercooked & not much ingredients. You’ll be better off cooking instant ramen from Nongshim, which costs a lot less. Well, staff wasn’t nasty so 1 star for that. But really no pride in cooking dishes. Such a disappointment!

Limited seatings available due to the restrictions of 2 people dining in. There were many tables that only allowed 1 person to sit. Found this really strange as the restriction is up to 2 people. Hopefully, things will get better when restriction is relaxed to allow 5 people to dine in. Also, the tray station is in quite a obscure corner. The short walk way is narrow and cramp. It does not have the space for safe distancing when many people are trying to return their trays at the same time. Hope this can be improved.

Took my lunch at Kofu Food Court at Thomson Plaza, at stall No. S6 Jing House, Yong Tau Foo. A young bespectacled, ear pierced, young gentleman provided a great service. He offered to re-fry the tofu and even offered additional vegetables with charges. He spoke good English and even suggested that some items may not be suitable for a vegan like me!!! Th food selection was also great and the price was very reasonable for a stall at a shopping mall. Will surely visit again. Compliments to the stall holder and the person who served my food.

There are many food stalls in this outlet. This outlet is renovated quite recently since 2018/19. The change in layout allows more eating spaces and a more refreshed feel. It is usually quite packed during weekend especially during the covid19 pandemic period. Patron volume is at 75% due to safe distancing measure put in place. Be careful when seated as areas marked with big red cross are prohibited.

Its a clean makan place. I frequent the mala store. The spiciness is from the dried chilli pieces, not much peppercorn though. If you are a chilli padi person, the big spiciness will suit you.

5 star food court. One of the cleanest food court. Homely and peaceful ambience. not too crowded. Best beef noodle with friendly service and generous servings. Love their fruits and dessert store too. Excellent service. Felt the Kampung neighbourhood spirit here. The store servers treat you like you are one of their neighbours. Food are very reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Well done Koufu. (Comparatively MBS foodcourt, NTUC Foodfair and Food Junction were such a disappointment)

You get a mixed of good and bad dishes. I tried the braised pork from Chinese cuisine store, that was sumptuous and very filling, huge chunk of meat compared to my usual portions. My mum tried the lor mee stall and Yong Tau foo stall before.

Lor mee is amazingly legit, had five spices in their gravy and beansprouts. I liked the popiah from the same stall but not my mum.

The Yong Tau foo stall is not great according to my mum, she said the bunch of dishes she selected was somehow turned into a smaller portion as it was before.

Every food in ‘noodle delights’ inside foodcourt are delicious. I patronise here since I was young, during that time was under Kopitiam. Lucky even after many years taste of the popiah is still as good as before. A must to buy 1 to try. Laksa and lor mee are also one of my favourite main dish. The staffs are quite friendly too.

The auntie is also very nice. If you cant eat beef, 925 Yishun Chicken rice is good and the popiah often sees long queues.
