This review goes out to the Mala store. The mala grilled fish was bad and not worth the price: small portions, hardened rice, heavy seafood smell, not fragrant and appetizing.

Affordable food sold with additional 10% with the use of the Kopitiam card. Usually frequent the ban mian stall at this food court which is pretty good.

There’s a good variety of food sold – cai fan, pepper lunch, western, fish soup, thai food, vegetarian, etc. Kopitiam is generally crowded during meal times.

Super amazing and delicious fried rice and fried carrot cake!
I have never had Yang chou fried rice that uses REAL char siew for years! Most places sell Yang chow fried rice using mock char siew.

And the wok hey of it is so good!

I love the yong tau hu noodles here. A savoury-sweet soup base with fresh and tasty pieces of yong tau hu. The portion is rather small but, then again, that leaves room for a super dessert – ice-cold bo bo cha cha filled with shaved ice and lots of colourful ingredients – just the right sweetness too.

This is one Kopitiam that we patronise out of location convenience.

2 stalls that are worth a try are:

1/ Lao Bao tang soup stall – pretty reasonable and good variety. Must get pumpkin rice which always is sold out early.

2/ Vegetarian food stall – my go to stall for dinner on vegetarian days. Brown rice or vermicelli with good variety of tofu & veg dishes. Best time come at early dinner when food is freshly cooked.

Ban mian ( handmade noodles) stall and pepper kitchen are not bad.

10% disc with Kopitiam card makes quite a difference.

It is always crowded, place looks tired and chairs/ tables are old & worn.

Cleanliness and maintenance needs to be improved to warrant repeat visits.

Try out the Rojak, its healthy, and has the right blend of sweetness, sourness and saltiness to enhance the flavour of the fresh fruits and vegetables, the sauce did not over power the natural flavour of the ingredients (12/09/2019).

Very popular place, hence difficult to find a table during lunch and dinner time. The cleaners work very hard to clear the tables as quickly as possible.
In addition to the queue for each food-stall, there is also a queue at the only 2 card checking and top-up machines. I wish they can put in additional machines for customers to check the balance value on their Kopitiam card and to top up their cards. Sometimes one of the machines is not operational and the queue gets frustratingly long at the one machine left.

A convenient fast food chain with lots of food stalls from different nations as well. Relatively cheap place to have a quick meal in an air conditioned environment.

Food are below or just average(in my opinion)
Using kopitiam card(need to top up credit). You will entitle 10% discount.

My view, if u can pay a bit more, go for better food at level 2.

Kopitiam is one of the best hawker food court located in Shopping malls. Many variety and branded food with great taste. Pity that it’s sold to NTUC and public is not sure if the stored value cards will be discontinued and the $ forfeited. Minus points for NTUC not to permanently put out a electronic notice on website and paper notice on all outlets to allay the fears. My colleagues are all not topping up and trying to spend all their $ in their cards as soon as possible.

Clean space, enough seating and various types of cuisines available at this joint of kopitiam. Do try their Korean cuisine. Like other kopitiams in Singapore, they only accept kopitiam card or cash.

No matter when you go, it’s always crowded, but it’s not so cheap and the taste is so good. There is a feeling of cleanliness.
there are many people to use here, but its not reasonable and taste different for me. it’s always clean, that’s point is good.

Great variety of food at food court prices. Do get the kopitiam card if you are going to patronise it regularly so that you can earn some rebates. There is a Pepper Lunch outlet and also a Mala store. Worth trying.
