Kopitiam automatic cash register, automatically find money, amazing. The lotus root bun. The barbecued pork bun is delicious, coffee is a little sweeter, but the meal is satisfactory.

First time here… I tried the Chinese cuisine stall in Kopitiam. This is salted egg chicken. It is actually quite tasty. They cooked it on the spot and it is hot. The taste is also good. There is also onions inside. I recommend this dish if you like salted egg…

Went there to have dinner with family. Some of the food stalls not open therefore limited food choices for selection.
Wanted to try Chicken chop with Hor Fun but was sold out.
Eventually we ordered dumplings with ramen, minced meat noodle and Ban Mian, taste average.
    Price is reasonable.

First time visit with extended family, good choice of food outlets. Several of us had food from Pepper Lunch, very tasty and reasonably priced. Food cooks on the serving plate so be careful not to burn your fingers as I did. Not particularly busy on a Thursday evening around 6pm. We plan to visit again before we leave Singapore.

Kopitiam…. average priced not as cheap as one would really expect. There’s never any cash machine nearby, as they don’t accept card payment. One either needs cash or the Kopitiam card which one needs to buy and as with everything in Singapore the damn card express even though there’s nothing wrong with it. How are they going to understand that this is not the way to minimise rubbish and learn to recycle if SG keeps putting expiry dates into items that are still valid and have life.

The foodcourt mgt should reorganise the customer queuing space for the Yong tau foo and ban mian stall next to each other. Now so cramped and confusing to patrons. Give up /find more creative relocation of the 1 to 2 table set up in front of these stalls.

Rather bad service by 3 young staffs at Suntec Kopitiam drinks counter. I ordered for 1 drink and 1 set Kaya toast with cold kopi o Peng (2 drinks), she only put 1 drink instead, my kopi o Peng was missing. When I try to get the missing drink that I order, they assume I’m asking for my Kaya toast and told me to go and come back later. I am fed up while amused at a same time that one of the young staff called an older guy behind me “Babi” (pig) and the older guy looks unhappy (maybe they’re friends? But still disrespectful and rude).

Kaya toast were done and it’s not butter that melt in my mouth but the greasy margarine. Hm… I won’t order from the drink stall again.
