This station is surrounded by the residential building so there’s nothing special but the view between Khatib and Yio Chu Kang is worth to see! You will feel like you are an explorer in the jungle!!;)
I like to go to the Singapore Zoo.
If you get off the NS line (red in the direction of Jurong East) from downtown Singapore, you will be directed to the shuttle stop, so you can easily go by public transportation.
The fee seems to be about 1 dollar if you pay with an ez-link card.
싱가포르 동물원 갈때 좋아요~
싱가포르 시내에서 NS라인(빨간색 주롱이스트방향) 타고 내리면 바로 셔틀 타는곳이 안내되어 있어 편하게 대중교통으로도 갈수 있습니다.
요금은 이지링크 카드로 결제하고 1불 정도 되는듯요.
I like the giant supermarket over there cos although is not that huge of a store but it has lots of choices. However do take note of long ques for payment esp in the night time after 8.30pm

Khatib MRT – This station is where most people go to places like ORTO, HomeTeamNS @ Khatib, Yishun Stadium, maybe Chong Pang (Bus: 807, don’t need cross road) and much more.

Walking distance to Yishun Town Garden Yishun Town Square hawker centre Sheng Siong Supermarket. MRT with beautiful views of Reservoir with breezy greenery away from busy cityscapes. Next to plenty of choices for local hawker delights after shopping banking grosseries postage dinning with hawker delights and Western Int’l delights supermarket amenities and entertainments. One MRT stop to Yishun MRT bus interchange Northpoint City with plenty of shopping banking dinning library postage groceries supermarkets services facilities and amenities nearby. Friendly fast attentive cosy comfy welcoming ambience for romantic intimates groups students tourists Expats and families. Next to community clubs and residential committee.
A fairly clean station. Station staff are not very friendly, though. There are convenience stores where you can get a quick snack or beverage.
One of Yishun heartlands. With surrounding parks and residential areas.
There is a bus stop directly behind the station exit, and you can wait for the express bus to the zoo. The only disadvantage is that there is no queuing guide, and as soon as the bus arrives, you will scramble to squeeze in the front door!

Tha Mrt staff team was so helpful and attentive enough for the helping a person in need like me,I couldn’t thank them enough how they help me,when I suffer in a severe pain attack in there station,they even call ambulance and answered important calls for me.once again thank you Khatib staff. For helping people who was in need .
It easy to go to, near my house and hassle free and super convient,got air con and clean air and if got sit it comfortable enough to sleep in and can use it to go anywhere.
I like this MRT station as not only I take the MRT to here for school and also liked the HDB blocks, Food-shops, Hawker Centres nearby. The place is very new and I liked that. Even though that the distance between YCK and Khatib’s is a bit long, I like to enjoy the views of the outside like seeing the Reservoir, the bus depot which is near CTE and also a road past a station which uses to measure stars in the sky. ️

Nothing much here, mostly residential. This is the stop closest to the Lower Seletar Reservoir Park and ORTO though. Frequent delays on the MRT these days.

The staff was helpful with tickets and refunds. The convenience stores in the station made quick food/drink purchases a snap.

Good MRT station and clean.
I like how there are areas that allow people to sit and wait (I know not if it was intentional). With a supermarket, a small eatery, a bakery, a few ATMs and an AXS machine, i think it has conveniently located facilities there as well. A particular cat can be seen there in the mornings as well (at the time of this review), and that’s a big bonus to me.

Welcome to the North! After your ride through the notoriously long stretch that is in between Yio Chu Kang and Kathib, you are greeted to the first heartland and suburban (somewhat) in the North region. This station has essentials for anyone commuting. There is a supermarket, a convenience store (7/11), a breadshop and a food outlet with meals going less than $4.
Great place to score some chicken rice and a cold drink. 24 hour 7-11 and Giant.

You can take the shuttle bus to the zoo from here. You can pay $1 in cash without a ticket. Several shuttle buses pass by. If you wait in front of that pictured sign, an animal-patterned bus will come
