Amazing views
It hurts everyone I ride it, but it’s a great trail.
Great…
Went for a night walk… It was awesome
√•….Here, Around This Tiny Island Approx. Spend Time One (or) Two Hours for Bicycling in Your Strength.
√•….In, this island is Completely in ‘Village Culture’ Mode in Compare to ‘City: of Singapore.
√•….It’s a Best Choice for Come here to Bicycling Ride Only.
Great place if you’re looking for a challenge with your bicycle. Do remmeber to rent a better bike at the jetty area if you’re heading to the bike park. …
Not for beginners! Even the easiest blue square trail is more difficult than T15 and Coney island. Highly suggest beginners to be cautious. For riders looking for a challenge, you will have a great time!
Clear water good spot for fishing a d family outing
We had more challenging blue routes elsewhere. Singapore is not like Sydney with plenty MTB tracks
Safe forest bike ride
Loved the place here. I came with my school and loved the mountain biking!
Cycle route completed.
Parcours à vélo effectué.
Nice place
Be prepared to push your bike quarter of the way. The track is already pretty bad but with the awful bikes you rent on the island it’s outright ridiculous. Also lot of mosquitoes.
Good place to start practicing your cycling skill with nice scenery in Singapore
Beautiful
Very nice, lavly view
Good place for mountain bike
A great departure from regular MTB trails on the mainland. Well worth trying. Bring a full suspension bike for the Black trails.
Best MTB park
Every difficulty of mountain biking you can want with very long track
Awesomely awesome place
Awesome place for 1 day to spend with loved ones. Rent a bicycle while coming in and just have fun. You can get some really good photos as well.
Appeared like they are doing some construction work around there, not sure what it is
Great trails!!!
One of the best MTB trail to ride in SG that is well maintained and features different difficulty sections to suit your expertise.
good place to explore on bike, just wear protective gear and dont do anything stupid.
For fun and mild adventure for cycling
A hidden gem of Singapore. It’s really cheap to get to and a lot of fun to be there.
The hill so steep I had to piggy bag her up the hill. So lazy la she.
Best for MTB
one good option for MTB
Like the scenery here
Great MTB trail on the small island of Palau Ubin! Blue trails are good for beginners, black and double black for intermediate to advanced, very good place to practice and improve your skills. If attempting black+ be ready for climbs, technical sections, rocks, roots, etc. This trail has a bit of everything and is a great way to spend half a day to full day. The Island itself is very rural, so make sure to bring extra water and snacks, there are a few shops on the island as well. Can take bumboat from Changi terminal for $4 ($6 with bike) no set schedule they just leave when full. All in all great experience and highly recommend even if not a MTBer!
It’s in Pulau Ubin island, hire a bicycle and explore the place
Nice offroad route with nice view of a lake. Great for MTB and trail running as well.
Fun and challenging.. …
Great landscape. Rent a bike and get around the whole island. You can catch a couple of little cute monkeys but do not foget your mosquito repellent. Just don’t!
Great place to bike. A bit challenging if you are new.
The road was very narrow but nonetheless thrilling
Loved this get away from Singapore for am afternoon. Got a bike and rode out here from Pulau Ubin’s dock area. Lots of wildlife, nature, trails, and bike trails of varying difficulty. Fun for groups or on your own.
Two laps of the black trails would suffice for a good morning workout. Bring buddies, as there are wild boars.
Best mountain bike park in Singapore. Relatively dry trail compare to main island.
Bring your own bike. The bike at the shops are bad.
The place is beautiful and simple awesome. A good place to spend a day with family and friends. Quiet, peaceful and rustic place to be away from the busy and crowded city life. But bicycles here not that good. Suggest to visit on a clear day as there are few or no shelters or resting places within the area. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to reach the bike park from the main village.
suitable for tourists who like to ride bicycles, see nature, adventure
เหมาะกับนักท่องเที่ยวที่นิยมปั่นจักรยาน ชมธรรมชาติ การผจญภัย
Best place to visit if you love nature and cycling
Great place if you’re looking for a challenge with your bicycle. Do remmeber to rent a better bike at the jetty area if you’re heading to the bike park.
I recommend you to visit the German Girl shrine when on the way to the bike park. You can read up the history of the shrine online if you’re interested!
Please take note that there are different color codes that represent the complexity and difficulty of the tracks. I have quote the ones that is reflected in nparks website as below:
– Blue Square: for beginners; trail has steep slopes as well as narrow tracks with poor traction
– Black Diamond: for middle-skilled cyclists; consists of long step climbs, drop-offs and challenging obstacles
– Double Black Diamond: for the pros; these trails have a variety of extra steep climbs and drop-offs, sharp corners and tricky obstacles
Take care and ride safe!
Inside the Pulau Ubin hasn’t any public transportations. Only bicycles you have to get a rent bike for travel. One bike have around $5 to $10.
If you are an outdoor type of a person, you will definitely love this place. Ferry fare is now 6$/way.
Nice place out of city
Three levels of dificulty, very secluded part of the island.
My favourite place in pulau ubin
Quite a nice place to hike or cycle. Be aware of some wild animals while biking. I saw some big lizards and wild pigs. The pigs are violent and cute at the same time. You don’t need to take bicycle to the island. You can rent one for a small amount of money.
A begginer mountain biking trail & a true blue hardcore mountain biking trail, side by side!
It was fun cycling.
I’d you like cycling and u r in Singapore , spend a day and go here. The island offers bike rentals.
Amazing place for a short getaway to be near nature. Please keep it clean and respect the place if you visit.
Totally awesome, if you want a day spent away from the modern world singapore and you love outdoor activities
Grab your bike and you can do offroad racing here
Too advanced for me, but a lot of fun.
Nice mountain bike trails. The blue square tracks are very easy for beginners – not many rocks, etc. But don’t be fooled into thinking the trails are all easy. The black single diamond are a significant step up in difficulty (in my experience) – much steeper and more rocky. YMMV
There’s also a wide trail uphill (near the black tracks) that is easy to follow if you are less confident. They were useful for me
The best mountain bike riding experience with awesome route guidance.
It was my first time and so much fun!! Helmet would be great… Some points have been quite hard to survive. Make sure to get one of the better bikes to rent (10-15$), and don’t get off the trail. I did… I ended up in the ocean
Bring your own quality mtb. Rentals on the Island are not suitable for the bike park.
Great mtb trails from novice to expert, nice views too.
Good for east riders who arent able to travel to the other trails like bukit timah. However pls do wear a helmet and shoes especially when attempting the trails there. Ive seen way to many people try even the black diamonds without any protective gear.
Great place to cycle around with lovely views every now and then
Nice tracks but becoming unpleasant to ride as the dirt is washed away and only rocks and roots left. Very bumpy not much flow. Intermediate track should be skipped as it is not even technical just unpleasant bumps. Might be ok with dual suspension bike.
MTB Trail is nice and challenging to beginer!
The best ride you can have similar to any MTB trail world wide. Its strong points is that it has very short time to recover from uphills.
Love this place so much …
great ride! good place to rest. you can take a bike. and have a great day.
great experience with mountain cycling..absolutely thrilled
Pulau Ubin is a great place to get away from the city and experience something different. Take the ferry from Changi Point Ferry Terminal to the Island, rent a bike for 8-15 SGD and enjoy the day riding around the island, and of course have some fun at the Mountain Bike Park. They have trails for all experience levels and depending on how adventurous you are, it can be quite a rush!
The ferries run from sun up to sun down for 2.50 SGD each way, bring water and snacks or pick some up in the small village near the pier at Pulau Ubin. Have fun!
My favourite MTB park in Singapore. Great choice of trails for a range of abilities. Really nice surroundings, you feel as though you’re out in the countryside, not a few km from Singapore. As well as great trails, there some great nature, nice views and several little bars and restaurants to visit after a ride. Be advised to take cash as there are no ATMs.
Ketam is pretty technically challenging MTB park. There used to be a time where the rental bikes could be taken into ketam but the trail has since then been pretty eroded making it rather dangerous for the rental bicycles to be ridden in. At minimum a helmet is a must in the trail and do not go in alone. Always have a buddy with you. However, if you do want to try the trail, you can ride the blue Square section up to the hut.
Apart from that ketam offers a variety of challenging climbs and hairpin turns that should be fun for an intermediate rider.
Nice place
Challenging & fun mountain bike trails. Perfect to spend half a day with friends!
Awesome first time experience here at Ketam MTB Park! Do expect to change your gears fast and plan ahead. Trail is filled with lots of flows at the start, some muddy, sandy and rocky descends and sudden steep but short climbs. Love it!
A more primitive place in Singapore, like
新加坡較為原始的地方,讚
Interesting place to explore, but rmb to put on sunscreen! Got sunburnt from staying under the sun
Amazing mountain bike trails… never expected to find such kind of things in Singapore… for those who likes this stile must try it…
Excellent
Excelente
I loved my time here. I hope that they can preserve the nature on this island. This is a really great place to visit. You can be near the busy city life of Singapore, but feel like you are in another world.
Awesome
Great riding trail
nice breeze on the day we went, enjoyed it.
Usually it has easy bike trails but there are some difficult parts too. Took couple of hours to go along. I didn’t really like the island itself as it looked very untended when we arrived after leaving Singapore on a boat. Maybe If you don’t expect too much you’ll like it.
nice place!

Cycling at Ketam Mountain Bike park
Blue square trails for newbies and black/double black diamond trails for advanced mtb riding.
not a bad place to go for cycling mtb
First mountain biking experience here and it was fun! The blue trail is extremely doable even if it’s your first time trying out mountain biking. There are some steep slopes and uneven patches but all in all if you’re comfortable with bikes, and you have a mountain bike it’s not difficult. Tiring, but not impossible. Most of the route is either muddy or grassy with only a few rocks so even if you fall you might get cut but you shouldn’t be hurt too badly. Just make sure to get a mountain bike (you can easily rent one from any of the island bike stores) before attempting. It’s muddy so be prepared to get dirty. You’ll be rewarded with beautiful views at parts of the trail and you’ll pass the German girl shrine too so it’s pretty worth.
Nice track to test your riding skill

Good outdoor activity…..
Pretty good trail. Like all trails in Singapore, they are short and compact.
love the MTB Trails here another favourite
Double diamond track is hard…
An exciting experience. Something I’ve not found in mainland Singapore.
the bike parks are well maintained but pine road might be a bit too difficult for intermediate even though it’s rated blue
Pulau Ubin in itself is a wonder of Nature in the jurisdiction of a typical metropolitan city, Singapore. Ketam Mountain Bike park is an amazing off-road path for biking at Pulau Ubin.
The key is not to go just after the rain or during the rain. The path looks like two small lines to follow in the jungle. It’s total off-road biking path with enchanting jungle views around. There are some harmless animals around like Monkey (very rare) and pigs. One should go only with a good bike there and should have a good control on bike. Rookie bikers shall refrain themselves to go on this.
Its a wonderful place to be at during this Covid madness, but something needs to be done to those reckless van drivers who speed on the narrow roads without sparing any thoughts to other road users/ pedestrians. Saw few incidents already on my last 2 visits
Nothing like a nice day on the trails, end it with some beers and drinks before going back to Singapore. Go early in the morning on a weekend to avoid the crowds. Check your brakes before going in and ride safe!!
Reasonably good trails as far as they come here in Singapore. Do ride the easy trails exploring the rest of the island as well. While those rustic places remain!
Starts off with Blue Square trails but quickly escalates into Black Diamond and Double Black… Not for beginners! The best thing is, NO HIKERS INSIDE THE TRAIL!
Great place if you love to bike.
Keep some water with you and don’t carry too much stuff if you plan on going on this trail.
Decent bikes are available at a cheap price of around $25-$30 per day close to the ferry drop off point…
Recommended to bring your own food and water though. Some seafood restaurants are there near the bike rental shops (Central), but there are very few rest stops in the rest of the island.
A very adventurous visit overall..
Perfect place for biking
Lot of construction going on here at the moment. Took some trails and end up near to bulldozers. Once construction dine this place should be splendid for mtb rides
Most trails are in bad shape, bring your own bike if possible and enjoy the gravel ride around instead.
Great single track in Singapore
An open space facing the lake with some benches but no shelter.
XC trail for riders who wanted cardio workout
A tough trail which has got you covered with lots of technical climbs and numerous obstacles from rock boulders / rock gardens / tricky switchbacks and for adrenaline junkies there are many double blacks strewn along the whole trail , some are pretty obvious some u have to find yourself ……
My personal tip to enjoy the trail is to go recce round on first lap and then a lil faster on the 2nd lap ….after that reward yourself with a 5 dollar Thai coconut near the jetty …..
The quiet part of Ubin. Mainly for mountain bikers, but we found we can hike and cycle on many of the trails just outside the “real mountain bike” trails. View of Punggol (Serangoon Dam) from the shores. You may encounter wild boars too- if you are adventurous and try the less beaten paths. We saw a very beautiful butterfly near the shores!
Huge lovely bike park for those seeking a thrill. Complete with sand dunes and many obstacles any mountain biking enthusiast will love this place
Well
Bueno
One of the toughest bike trails in pulau ubin about 15mins boat ride from Singapore…
Good 5k trail.
Nice bike path – has some options for beginner to pro – great to get out i to nature
When they say this isn’t for beginners, they mean it.I had never ridden a mountain bike before and I only made it to about mid section of B06 before turning back. Great experience though! Will definitely be back here again.
Good for advanced rider.
Nice place
Good trail for MTB enthusiasm.
A great getaway in Singapore that is very easy to access.
Lots of geenery. The quarry at Ubin is v beautiful. Go to Puaka Hill the highest point at Ubin. It’s LOVELY! However, due to the slope n uneven ground, it is not suitable for the elderly and young children.
Found it really enjoyable to cycle there, while taking a break from the hustle and bustle of mainland life.
Beautiful on a blue sky day. Peaceful
Cheap.
Natural with good air and nice view.
A little hot
有点热
Very good place for biking
I was there also
Best place Eva!!!
Loved the view of quarry. Very private corner.
Nice mountain bike ride in the forest, quiet, little frequented (I didn’t meet anyone on the way for 2 hours).
Bring a helmet, not suitable for children under 14/15
Belle ballade en VTT dans la forêt, calme,.peu frequenté (je n ai croisé personne sur le chemin pendant 2 heures).
Prévoir un casque, pas adapté en dessous de 14/15 ans
View is amazing. Be one with nature here.
The blue square trails for the most part are like smooth, narrow dirt trails running through grassy meadows, with the occasional, more rooty forest sections along the way. Fit for almost all ages and skill levels. However, the black diamond ones are a whole different story, with lots of technical rocky, rooty and slippery sharp descents and climbs, as well as features like double drops which all require near-professional skill levels and a bike made for the job. They are not for the faint-hearted. Me as an intermediate tried only a very short length and I felt that I had to give up for the sake of my safety.
Well maintained and exciting MTB trail. Many features for pro riders.
Love the scenery here!
You can hike or cycle (hard shortcut slope). Try the options.
This island is very nice for cycling and exploring, you can take your personal bike on boat. Ticket may be 2 or 3 SGD in 2016
Not for the first time riders.. if you have passion for biking plan on visiting often
Very nice mountain bike trail to increase your stamina. Especially the Lactate black diamond trail.
Blue Square is mostly for newbies who want to experience mountain biking, and it’s a tad harder than being at Coney Island experiencing the rustic paths.
There are bumpy bits, flow trails, some technical, a decently steep climb and a really fast flow trails at the end. Good for beginners
However like the previous reviewers of Ketam the Black Diamond and Double Black diamond ramps it up a notch and Is not for beginners, firstly you have to experience a 1m drop, which if you have no experience can be really hard.
I would suggest completing Blue Square on Chestnut Mountain Bike Park first before attempting black diamond.
Lots of changes and more flowy after the renovation, niceeee
Really nice island to ride around. The bike park is free to enter and has some nice trail, although non of them have any flow. All the trails, even the few double black diamond routes are pretty easy technically for any one with even moderate down hill experience. Although it seams like the route is the wrong way round as majority of interesting features are on the climbs.
Overall would highly recommend renting a bike (the one in the photo cost $20 for the day) and getting out and enjoying the island and bike park.
Great experience
Nice, when you’re tired of the city!!
Sympa, quand on en a marre de la ville !!
nice and quiet place
Very good island for cycling and spending a day out from the city. Lush green forests around and good stop by areas. Avoid planning during summer, best time would be to go around during monsoon or a cloudy day. Lucky if you can sail through alongside with the ships passing by.
