Nice place to walk
Nice place katong park
It’s an organised park. You can find kids playzone & you can also bring your pets there
‘nice
Nice for lasertag
It’s a nice park. Quiet as it’s tucked away in a corner. Not accessible by car though, as the only lots are restricted use lots with clear warnings of wheel clamp as a consequence. Anyway, it’s a nice quiet park where you can sit on a bench with your thoughts and revel in the majesty of the heritage “rainbow” tree watching over you.
One of the oldest parks in Singapore
Nice
Good for a walk but not much to do in it.
a small but historically meaningful neighborhood park (in terms of its size and facilities) it is one of the oldest parks in singapore and marked the embark of confrontation between indonesia and newly established malaysia federation in 1963
it is quite close to east coast park but watch out for the nearby traffic because there are a lot of trucks on the road nearby
Rainbow tree
The dog run is so small now due to construction works. The grass that used to be thick and lovely is all gone.
Quite and beautiful park with sitting and washroom facilities.
I miss this place . So you can imagine how old am i
One of the oldest parks in Singapore. It’s was become a historical park in Singapore. Nowadays this area was surrounded by buildings.

Heritage Tree
A very pkace where you can relax and be quite.
The park’s underground subway station has been under construction for three years, and the park’s environment is in a mess. Let’s talk about it in 2022!
公园地下地铁站开工三年,公园环境挖掘乱七八糟,等2022年后再说吧 !
Good
This quiet park is just beside the Fort Road, along the ECP expressway. The park can connect to east coast park. There is a few places that you can do at the park, like going down memory lane along some of the paths, with signages that shows some of the history of Katong park in the past. There is also a hidden fort that has been uncovered that used to be part of the south eastern defence fort of Singapore. Overall, it is a nice park to walk and stroll around with a quiet and cosy atmosphere.
Nice
Too dusty due to mrt construction.. Has a exclusive pets walking lane
Small residential park area. Construction of mrt soon
Most of the park is an MRT construction site. Though there are a few swings for kids.
Great dog run…soon to expand back to its original bigger size as the MRT construction work is beginning to recede.
Lots of mosquitos. No more swings. No carparks. Not recommended unless u live nearby and u can walk to get here. The kids playground is probably more suited for 3 and above.
Nice place
Beautiful rainbow coloured tree found there
Wow
Overall Maintence of Park: 1 Star. Very Badly Maintained. Looks Desserted as shown in pictures. Has been like this even before Year 2019.
Interesting thing-Rainbow Tree of 100 over years old.
Some old History Site but Badly Maintained too. Sad If not this may be a place to learn a bit of history, have fun with family and rest.
Note: Wear Shoes And Bring Insect Repellent
Upcoming nearest KATONG PARK MRT ( Thomson East Coast Line)
Good
very nice place
Dog run there is great to let your dog off the leash legally.
Nice and quiet

Great park! But currently construction ongoing beside.
Personally one of the places that always has a place in my heart. I don’t grew up there, but was born at Haig Road. Used to study at Tanjong Katong Technical Secondary School and knew many of the nostalgic places within the areas that has now been classified as the heritage site of Singapore. Thank you for the memories, Katong.
Very nice place
a small interesting park near the East Coast Park (however they are not connected to each other, but there are some pedestrian path walkable) the park is of medium size (relatively in singapore), with some entertainment facilities and the tree cover is quite nice (the 100-year-old rainbow tree seems quite amazing) this park however marks the start of the Konfrontasi in the 1960s between Malaysia and indonesia (a bomb went off here) so quite interesting. also there is soon gonna be connected with a newly built MRT station (katong park station)
White sand playground and lots of greenery
Good
Came specially to see the “rainbow” tree but for all visitors to be aware this phenomenon is seasonal and to come end Feb or early March. But the tree bark itself is already unique from other trees. Smooth n pinkish in color. Like a covering or skin of sorts.
im working at katong park fort road
Very unusual tree…remind me of paddlepop ice cream
This park has a heritage rainbow eucalyptus tree. It also has part of the old city exposed. The park has children’s play equipment, adult exercise equipment and also toilet facilities.
Small park, but great trees!
Nice
Katong park, small and beautiful park. Nice view.

Ok park. quieter on weekdays to take family
It was ok.
Nice place
Oh dear, its the season of rain sun rain sun..sure it wasn’t a flood, but as the doggies play, humans feed the mossies with blood
My house …
Just lovely. Gym section, children’s playground, old folks workout machines, clean toilet, nice path to learn cycling.
A piece of Singapore’s history lies buried in the ground here, a fort called Tanjong Pagar Fort. A small section lays open still. A mature eucalyptus tree grows on the park grounds.
Heritage Tree is here – the Mindanao Gum Tree
very nice place
很不错的地方
Nice place …
Clean garden ample space to play.
Awesome nostalgia history and culture!
Small quaint park near the larger east coast park.
Much quieter here. Hardly anyone around.
This park is home to the Mindanao Gum tree which originates from Papau New Guinea which is worth visiting. The bark of the tree sheds to reveal colors you wont expect from a tree. See my photos.
This park is built around Fort Tanjong Katong which was constructed by the British and there is a bit of the old structure left.
There is a clean washroom with vending machine, modern playground, lost of benches and a underpass that links to ECP.
As of now there is construction going on for the new Mrt station.
Worth visiting just for the colorful tree.
Mainly cycling and running
A small park…but it houses a heritage “rainbow” tree…it has become a popular place for cyclist to visit and take photo!
Due to construction for mrt Station, most areas are blocked. better off walk across the High way to east coast park. I believe this area will be face-lift when mrt works are done but probably few years down the road.

Good Park for everyone. Good facility. But because of mrt construction the Park is now small
Small but a pleasant historic park that offers open gym and out door playground for the family.
Currently it’s a building site for the new Thompson East line
All the parks in Singapore are we’ll kept and beautiful.
beautiful

Peaceful neighbourhood park.
Good for fitness
Soronok traveling my boss
Soronok melancong bosku
near my place, maintenence is not satisfactory.
Used to be great. There’s a dog run beside. Under construction now, hope they are not making it smaller
A great small park to bring dogs for a walk or a sprint in the pets friendly park. Clean and easy access location. The best part is usually it’s quiet and not much patron due to it’s relatively small size and lack of some commercial establishment.
Veay small. Construction of MRT is underway next to it.
Nice park for children and adults too. Open gym and elaborate walkway. Place to ease out your pet dogs too.
Very good space and there is toilets!!!
Did not know katong and katong park have so much history

Lost much of its heyday glory but still nice for nostalgia.
