OK food and buffet spread. Value for money with The Entertainer app. Quiet dinning and leisurely eating environment unlike the “war zones” at usual hotel buffet places. Good for a quiet evening wind down.

Service is above average and that is a big tick. Please keep it up!

Enjoyed the range of local food, especially the diy rojak and kueh pie tee. Also liked their hokkien mee and laksa.
For some reason, the fried chicken accompanying the nasi lemak was saltless. And the black pepper beef was very tough.
The sambal belachan was oddly not very full in taste, but too salty, and the sambal was too sweet.
Dessert options were great – chendol, Cheng tng and a variety of nonya kuehs, and ice cream.

10/10! Halal, family friendly and wheelchair friendly environment! The staff were friendly and professional. Celebrated my grandmother’s 64th birthday and had such a lovely time. The food was amazing and definitely suited for the occasion. ️ Truly recommended.

Its Halal, having friends that require Halal, this place is great, although there are better choices out there, but the ones that i know of are not Halal. The spread is not bad, staff are friendly and eager to tell me things of the local cuisine. The only big minus is that its not conveniently located near a MRT. Need to get there via cab/ bus.

Staff were friendly and polite, food variety was fine, felt that some items were rather normal. Have to say that the durian pengat was extraordinary – one of the best I had. Ice cream selection was also special with coconut flavour. Coffee machine is part of the buffet, and is wonderful at the end of a hearty meal.

Friday night dinner with work colleagues. Spread and variety over priced. No buah keluak. Laksa was rather salty. Similar for the snow crabs. Lobster was tough.
Redemption from the crayfish chinchalok. Chempedak creme brulee and durian penget also “saved the day”.

I have to disagree with many of the reviews. First, the selection was only so-so. Except for the laksa, the others were also average, nothing to rave about.

2nd, of the cold seafood, I did not touch the flower crabs as I thought they needed time to grow bigger. So, you can imagine how pathetically small the crabs were. The prawns were fresh though.

3rd, apart from the hot beverages like tea and coffee, the cold drinks selection was the Grand Plain Cold Water. Pathetic!

4th, the desert selection was very limited. The only thing good was the durian pengat. Here, I must commend the restaurant for ensuring the tray was continually topped up.

So, all in all, I would rate my experience a low 2 stars. The offering cannot compare with Tiffany’s which cost almost the same price for Seniors.

Note: Staff informed me that the restaurant will offer non-halal fare starting March 2020. Not sure I will patronise this restaurant because of my experience

    Eugene Hong

The halal lunch buffet is not too shabby. The laksa is quite decent and you get to make your own rojak. The selection is not the widest compared to other halal buffets but there are quite a number of choices. The waitresses are quick to clear unwanted plates which is important for a buffet.

Halal buffer kitchen that serves penarakan n other local food. The freshness of food, quality n taste are better than those 5-five hotel in town that serves halal local food. First of all, they have a few different type chillies for different dishes, n chillies are great-home-made. The sambal belachan chilli maybe a bit salty. The laksa n prawn mee are must try dishes, excellent gravy n broth, the kind of prawn they use can be better. Then their dessert is another highlight, fresh n make by the kitchen. Nonya kueh is soft n not too sweet. The cempedak creme brulee is something so special n delicious that I cannot stop but help myself for more serving. Staff are attentive, plates are cleared fast.

The buffet is small for such price. The sea food is limited , there is only maximum 1,5 losbsters which you might get. If some one take them than another 1,5 losters will be bright out.
There is only water and some ice tea as drinks, no orange juice or soda at all.
2 stars for nice desserts , soup and a great service.

Crabs and lobsters were fresh. Would recommend the prawn soup and the laksa, which had extremely flavourful broth. The dessert section was wonderful – the cempedak creme brulee was exceptional, so too the mango sticky rice shot and mango pomelo sago. They are also on the entertainer app so some discounts there. A very good experience overall
