13 April – Slides and Jacuzzi are down. Floats available by cashless payment only – $3 with no deposit
Nice place to relax. So many pools. Unique and a nice family one.
The floater is only $3.0 for the whole day. I would love to bring my kids back here sometime.
Good place to spend and enjoy
Left the Kiddy, Wading and Comp pool only. Gone are the busy days of slides, lazy river and wave pool.
It is under URGRNT maintenance from 3 June to 3 aug. we go there on 20 June, because in Google still marked open normally. The person in charge not responsible at all.
The nearest MRT station is about 5 to 10 minutes by walking, the Chinese Garden MRT East-West Line. At the entrance, the staff were very helpful, especially on guiding on the payment as they do not accept cash anymore. EZ Link cards are also accepted as payment. It’s very affordable at around $2 for adults, while kids and students pay lower.
It’s a nice and enjoyable water park. However as of 20-Jan 2019, the big slide and jacuzzi are still under renovation. It is still worth a visit because of the wave pool, water playground, a competition-sized pool and lazy river. When getting hungry, there’s a food chain that is accessible from the inside, and a few vendo machines. Changing rooms are clean and lockers are also available.
Stadium got required facilities and we’ll maintained. Swimming pool and football ground entry at south entrance. Cycle bay near the football ground exit. Vending machines for drinks, KFC and Pizza Hut are available at office level.
2 $ only and you can enjoy whole day here very nice place I visit this place 3 times with my friends very nice.
This swimming complex was quite crowded on Sunday. Insufficient float for rental and also crowded in the wash room. This swimming complex has more complete features, ie, a lap pool, a wave pool, a lazy river, water feature playground for children but w/o slide. The wave pool only triggered once every hour and the wave wasn’t strong. The current at the lazy river was quite strong and the feel was quite nice except the water outlet at certain area were also strong thus I felt a bit pain while walking in the river.
It’s a public swimming pool that looks more like a water theme park. There are lazy river, water slides, man made beach, the ordinary swimming pool and some kids water playground. It’s definitely fun and affordable to play water here. Entrance price is $2 for Singaporeans and around $3 for Foreigners.
The only thing I can’t stand is their locker room which is full of foul smells that consists of slippers, sweat, wet smell that will definitely make you puke.
Kids love to swim there cos have more facilities, fun and cheap ,affordable for us …
Its nice but too bad the slides, wave pool and lazy pool are all closed
Clean, cheap .. Shame only the kids paddle pool and the competition pool are open.
Slides, wave pool and mushroom closed, Which isn’t listed on the website, still States all pools and facilities open
-Locker Facility.(20 cents for smaller one can keep two sets of Men’s dresses and 40 cents for bigger locker)
-Separate kids care section.
-Pools maintained well.
-Maximum number of Life gaurds appointed.
-Using Ezlink card is convenient way of entry.other options also available.$2.60 pay by cash and $2 by Ezlink.
-Long shorts not allowed for men.
-Must visit for everyone irrespective of ages.
Not bad but it seems they do not have plans to reopen the slides. It’s been under renovation since forever.
Good place for a family day out only a dollar!!! rent a float for S$5 and you can go on every slide
If you like swimming, that s a bit difficult at it is occuppied most of morning with lessons for kids, and then used as playground every sunday….
one of the best swimming complexes in SG. slides are awesome there .
wave pool and lazy river makes lot for everyone.
As I stay in the area, I used to frequent this water park a lot, at least once a week. I haven’t been here in years, so I decided to visit 2 days ago. It was disappointing.
The bad:
– Floats used to be provided free. They were free-for-all; as long as you can find one that no one else is using, you can use it for as long as you want. Floats now cost $3 per float. I understand that there are less visitors nowadays, but this is not encouraging more visitors.
– There used to be waterfalls everywhere. One each at the Lazy River’s tunnel entrance and exit (you had to pass through the waterfall, it was fun). One covering the wall of the Wave Pool. They’re all gone. Most probably due to safety requirements, but I miss them.
– The Water Playground is gone. It used to be really fun too. There was a huge bucket that dumped loads of water periodically. There were slides. There were water cannons you could shoot your friends with. All gone. Just a normal kid’s pool remains. Probably also due to some safety requirement.
The neutral:
– The Slide Tower and Jacuzzi area is closed indefinitely for “urgent maintenance”. Hopefully this highlight of the park opens soon.
– The food stall is gone. It was overpriced anyway. That said, Pastamania and KFC can still be accessed from the inside (not true for Pizza Hut).
– They did add basketball hoops and balls at the kid’s pool.
– Be sure to check the weather, as the staff will not allow you to enter the water if there is lightning risk (this doesn’t apply if it’s only raining without lightning risk). Google “Category 1” weather.
The good:
– You can now use your EZ-Link card to tap in. There’s no need to queue to buy a ticket.
– The changing rooms are quite clean. There are changing rooms for kids too.
– The competitive pool is still available (standard swimming pool) if you’re just looking for swim.
– Due to less visitors, the Wave Pool is still fun, and much safer now.
If you’ve never visited, I recommend coming here at least once. It may not be as fun now, but it’s still worth a first visit just to experience the Slide Tower (when it opens) and the Wave Pool. I mean, it’s much, much, better than just a boring swimming pool.
Not all rides are open. Now with covid u can only book to go in. U time slot is usually 45min. Another 15min u wash up. So little time for leisure.
Excellent place for kids and swimming lover. Lazy river experience is good with kids. Pools available for all age groups.
There for the Wave Pool & Lazy River! Unfortunately, the slides are close for maintenance. No clue when it will be open again thou. Good for family and kids.
Fun and affordable water park. Unfortunately, the slides were closed when we visited.
A great place to bring the kids.. Worth the price too!! Theres KFC at the entrance.
I love it that theres a few “tents” for us to sit and put our stuff.. never seen other swimming complex having it.
All the kids there enjoyed theirselves. Will be going there again!!
All pools and rides are closed except for the competition pool, only 45 mins of swimming is allowed
Not the modern, fancy or sparklingly clean type but it offers decent pools at just a few dollars ($1.5-$2) entrance fee. Facilities are a little run down but the pools and beach waves simulation are really relaxing.
Three points as the big slides are still under maintenance (March 2020).
The lazy river is very good. They could add something exciting when it goes through the building.
Lap pool is decent enough.
Kids area is nice with fountains and a water basketball area.
Wave-pool is at every hour for 15 minutes and is good.
There is a Pastamania where you can order while still enjoying the pool which is nice.
You can rent floating tubes for $3 for whole day from near the kids pool. They are good.
The bath area can be better, is old and not necessarily clean.
Overall a good place, will give an extra star if the slides are open, they seem to be closed for a long long period of time.
Really fun place! Been here weekday mornings and afternoons and crowds weren’t too bad
The place is OK. In dire need of renovation. Parts are closed so unable to make full usage of the facilities.
Nice swimming complex, many showering facilities and not cramped. Unlike many of the new swimming complexes. The staff were really helpful in getting us in and out should the system have an issues.
Not sure if the big slide and lazy pool are down permanently tho
Swimming pool have many varieties and spacious but toilet and bathroom require more cleanliness.
@Jurong East Swimming Complex Your website is totally not updated as of 9th May 2022. The water slides, wave pool and lazy river all are not opened for public yet these facilities are still indicated on your website as available. People are making wasted trips to find out all these facilities are not opened and filled the entire family, especially the children, with disappointment. Please update your website to indicate the status of each individual facilities so as to better reflect its current status and not disappoint families with wasted trip to the swimming complex and to find out most of the facilities are not opened. Secondly, your Contact Us page is not working fine. It just kept prompting “One or more fields have an error. Please check and try again.” and “The e-mail address entered is invalid.” which I have checked all fields and email addresses were correct. Please rectify those problems I have pointed out. Thank you.
Slides under maintenance. Other facilities open. Good option for a family outing.
That is very beautiful place, and swimming pool also very very beautiful
Kid had a lot of fun. We had a lot of tired. Overall good. There is Reno going on on some of the facilities, hope it will finish soon.
Staff are friendly and welcoming. The facilities are abit run down and in need of deep cleaning and some touch ups though. With the number of persons limitation, it’s nice to swim.
Clean place . Lots of life guards
i had a Great time with my son..
The lazy river is good for swimming laps. I would go there more often when it is less hot and less crowded.
It’s been a while I’ve went for a swim in this Covid times so I booked a date at Jurong East Swimming Complex with my wife for a nite swim.We only allowed one hour swimming time.it’s very nice moments for us because there’s only less than ten people take a nite booking slot at that time, well the Jurong East Swimming Complex is the nearest one to my home and it convenient,I actually regular that place with my grandchildren before the pandemic,oh I miss that moments with them,sigh..
Very limited sheltered sitting space to wait around. Benches sheltered by translucent awnings provide shelter from rain but not the sun so it can be terribly uncomfortable on a hot day. Cashless payment for ring float rental via activesg wallet only, so go prepared or be prepared to waste alot of time registering for an account and what not.
The swimming complex has been and will always be The Legend(the First) ,the Most AFFORDABLE yet & the Best experience to be enjoyed during weekdays/non-peak periods in the morning– cause’ there will be very minimal people to simply *Enjoy* everything! AWESOME west!
#loveFun
#activeSG
And oh yes,
the Slides –> waddle pool for lil’ ones –> Lazy River –> JACUZZIs –> to The Waves, and –> Lap pool ARE ALL OPEN !
unless stated though** hehe.
Went on a weekday so the place was not busy. Slides closed for renovation, but no sign of any work being done.
Kids pools, lazy river, wave pool all excellent.
The waves at the wave pool start every hour on the hour for about 15 mins.
Rent a big float for $3.
Changing room and shower areas look a bit tired, but this is pretty standard for a public swimming pool.
Lifeguards were friendly and helpful.
There’s a lot of fun to be had for families at this neighbourhood swimming complex – for a very low price.
Excellent for a cheap family / friends day out with decent changing facilities ( what you’d expect from a public swimming facility). There’s water slides, lazy river, wave machine, a babies pool, benches with umbrellas for picnicking and a separate lap pool. Chinese gardens across the road, perfect for a day of fun!
All slides and lazy river were closed.
Recently quiet a few upgrading, so less fun as it is, the highlights I would say are, the lazy river that runs a surprisingly swift current, & the open main pool that has nice realistic tidal waves

ActiveSG activities are good, kind staffs. Swimming classes and other water based Zumba classes are available here. Mon is leave for maintenance so water will be fresh on every Tuesday. The construction work is on hold for last 1 year; surprisingly no proceedings. So kids are missing some fun. Hope that will be soon fixed.
Was a regular gym visitor at this sports complex…. Decent gym with friendly n well trained staff … U may also sign up for pilates , yoga ,kickboxing and other lessons at this complex…. Oh yah.. Went there for a relaxing swim this evening with my family members …enjoy it a lot, the pool was not overly crowded
This place have been opened for quite a long time. Therefore you can expect the place to be not so “new”. Their slide itself is quite decent back when i was younger i really liked it alot.
However, now there are alot of slides that are not in operation or under renovation which is good but we miss out on the fun! The food there is affordable and friendly to the pocket. This will be a good place to bring your kids to for a chill weekend.
This is an awesome way to spend a morning or afternoon with kids in Singapore. My 4, 8 and 12 year old all had an equally good time. Entry is only $2 per adult and $1 per child (less for Singaporeans and PR’s) . Tubes for rides can be rented for $5 and $3 is returned to you if you return the tubes in 2 hours. There’s a lazy river, water slides, lap pools, wave pools and various splash pools. I found the place clean and in good working condition. KFC and Pastamania are on site food choices. Lounge chairs would be a welcome addition. Avoid on public holidays as it gets crazy busy.
If not for covid restriction, its not too bad a place to swim. Slow lanes were kinda cramp.
Sad looking, decrepit. Children area was boring with very little features. More than half the area cordoned off for construction/renovation. Hopefully gets renovated soon
For now, during the covid period, only the competition pool is available. Bookings are on the same platform as all facilities operated by SG Sports (?). Water pressure at the changing room is excellent.
Lazy river and slides closed due to repairs
Miss this place too! Hope the pandemic get over soon!
Used to be a great place but it looks very rundown now. All the slides are closed for maintenance (it’s been 6 months), very disappointing when you bring your kids and expect to have fun sliding. And the rest really needs urgent renovation. Rust and paint peeling off everywhere.
For the COVID19 period, need booking a lot by activesg app before you comeing. Not sell ticket on site. One lot only 45 mins.
Wonderful pool with wave pool and jumbo water slides at super cheap price.. Don’t miss. Like everything else in Singapore, pool is closed when there is lightening
Well maintained integrated stadium with swimming complex.its serves lot of neighborhood peoples. Swimming classes also conducted by various coaches.admission to the local and permanent residents are free if they use sports Active SG application. Toilets and change rooms are very clean.
Currently slides and jacuzzi under maintenance (as of 25 Dec 2018).
All the major attractions such as the wave pool. slides and the lazy river are close as of March 30, 2015 until further notice. do not waste time to go there for now. The place is undergoing major renovation.
I was disappointed as i wanted to bring my grand daughter there during this weekend.
Very affordable with good amenities. Unfortunately alot of the water features are still closed. Hopefully will be available soon.
The slides are not open for atleast a year already very dissapointed
Accessible and can be reached through public transport. Staff were very helpful especially on guiding on the payment as they do not accept cash anymore. Fees are affordable for as low as $2. Indeed, it’s a nice and enjoyable water park.
A Connection a good experience now and today we know that actually as i’ll guess?I ‘ve never been there yet but, probably in some other days in weeks or months i got time to went in Jurong East Swimming Complex S’pore i should of can.Almost time maybe its ok if have free weekend holidays just kind of fun it is enjoying with friends i sopposed best at weekend perhaps right time chat in have launch while go on outings, extremely amazing fun Hah.
Love the wave pool!! Not too scary for a beginner swimmer like me. Would be better if we have loud and good selection of music!
Very nice swimming complex and very good lazy River.
Was once a good swimming pool to go with friends but now they drained most of the fun pool inside so only left kids pool which is rather sad.
Last time can log into free WiFi in the Gymn,is even display w posters boasting of this facilities, for more than 6 mths this is no more available, wrote to them more than a mth ago, till today my feedback was IGNORED
Very nice place and very economical. But the slides are closed for maintenance and hence this rating.
Some pools have close like wave and sild . Only 3 pools are open. Two children pools and one audit pool. Still have KFC and pizza hut. Still can enjoy
More on features pool. There is only one lap pool and in the middle is only open to people that swimming laps. So you can’t really horizontal in this case.
Good amenities available for booking through ActiveSG for very reasonable prices.
Place renovation still not complete open for public!
The slides have been closed for like 6 months now, they seem to be ready to paint it for at least 3 months but have not started, the notice says “urgent repairs till further notice” so much for urgent.
Most of the pool attractions are closed.
Only children’s and Olympic size pool is open.
Children’s pool fun for 4 years and below.
Toilet cleanliness is satisfactory.
No worries about food for munchkins coz there is a KFC and Pastamania around.
Let’s do our part to keep the toilets CLEAN )
The swimming complex is quite impressive. There’s a wave pool, 2 x slide pool, kids swimming area and an Olympic lap pool. It costs approximately $1.50 to enter which is awesome. It’s also convenient if your children go to Canadian International School as it’s right next door. Short walk from the MRT.
Swimming pool need to renovate especially the kids play area.
Compare to jurong west pool, prefer there
Slides were closed for renovation during my visit. Showers were filthy and very poorly maintained, with broken shower locks, dirt encrusted shower heads, and cobwebs galore
Good place to brings families but they removed childrens waterplay too bad now..
Their slides are currently under renovation, and the wave pool only happens in like 30 mins or 1 hour interval sadly wasn’t as nice as it was before.
Excellent place for kids and adults.. my toddler daughter enjoyed the kids pool… It is a huge complex and can accommodate a lot of kids. Pastamania right next door is a big plus.
Worth of Money. So good facility and we can Tap our MRT card for entry fee. Its around S$3 on weekend and Ph. They have excellent wave pool and long swimming pool and fast River and kids playing area. It located near to Chinese Garden MRT station walkable around 500Meter.
Its also attached with Football stadium.
They’ve changed a few things and we were not prepared. So our experience was not as good. It is cashless now so you must have a credit card or nets card with you to enter and rent the tubes. Thankfully a kind stranger was payed for us and I gave her cash. They’ve also taken away the splash pad feature for kids. So we were disappointed to see that gone.
Overall great place to relax and swim. However, lazy river/tidal pool/slides are currently closed till further notice
Although officially a public swimming complex, it’s really more of a water park, and a really value for money one at that.
Slides are still under renovation but still great for kids. Maybe the slide renovation discouraged some from coming, so it was less crowded on a Sunday morning and younger kids had good time.
Swimming pool was well maintained and water was in good condition. It was a good location to practise swimming.
Affordable…10 min walk from mrt station..friendly staff..best time to go weekends avoid sunny days bring own food …
It has been ages since I last went here. The main attraction has always been the 3 levels high slides unfortunately that attraction was closed when I came by. Hopefully they will not demolish it!
Was great. The wave pool and lazy river was fun however the large slides are still closed. I went last year and the slides were also closed
My wife and I brought our grandson and granddaughter there on 2 separate occasions. They had a very good time there.
My granddaughter was very fascinated by the waves in the wave pool. She also liked going round the lazy pool.
It is unfortunate that the slides are still closed. It has been closed for at least 6 mths now, I believe.
Not well maintained. Slides are not in operation, painting of building peeling off, toilets are not clean. This place has seen much better days, and is in much need of a renovation.
Sadly currently the slides and lazy pool are all closed. Only the normal lap pool is opened.
Should update it is temporary close or should update too just open the baby pool due to covid-19. Went there with my kids because it shows open. Let my kids swim in the baby pool and time limit is 1 hour if there is no other family.
A huge waterpark! I could hear the laughs and shouts from the children. Exhilarating experience on the waterslide as my tummy felt like it is going to drop like a stone. Also enjoyed the lazy river as the strong currents made me float. What an experience it is! Truly worth a visit and will come again.
A clean and Well kept pool. Lifeguards are present at most of +he locations. Swimmers felt safe. Tks.
Very nice place for recreation and refreshment with a cheap price only $2. Various thinks to do. You can take tire for extra $3 for whole day. Beside this swimming pool KFC, pizza hut also available. Have a good noon. Thanks
Badminton courts are nicely lighted with no wind. Swimming pool has slides and waterway. Pool is good for kids.
Lazy pool is stronger than jurong west swimming complex. Need to rent the float for the slides, theres pizzahut and kfc on second floor for those who want to eat after swim. Good place to go as family and friends. The wave pool is nice
It was quiet even though it is Sunday and school holiday. They have zone it so that each section has max 4 kids to play around un the kids pool.
Just meh… just went there with the wife and daughter… slides under construction and the wave at the wavepool ain’t that high anymore… and no more kids playground…
Now no more water slide.nthebwave pool and lazy river is going thru maintenance. No one know when it will be open. This was in late May. I guess another 3-6 months more.
Great place to have fun with kids and friends… all seem so happy… 2$ for entry… 3$ for tube
One of the best public pools in Singapore. For its admission price (less than $2 for adults), it’s probably the best water park in Singapore.
There are 3 slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, a jacuzzi, a kid’s playground and a lap pool for normal swimming.
During the peak periods, the place is crowded, so try to go during the off-peak timings.
Lifeguard was caring enough to inform us can change to another seat due to the hot sun, on another occasion, due to sudden heavy rain and thunder, lifeguard was very kind to lend us umbrellas to walk to sheltered area. Overall thumbs up for the lifeguards. However it will be better if people with sandals or slippers will be informed not to walk to near the pool and dirty the pool.
It’s actually mixed stars . Overall 4 stars. The wave pool is 5 stars (for the price.) The lazy river 4 stars would be 5 if all the fixtures were working. 6 stars if something interesting can be included in the tunnel. Looking forward to the day the slides reopen. I think it’s been closed for a long time. Great changing and showering facilities.
One of places that kids in the 80s had great experience with. The glory of yesteryears is a far cry from the current state of the facilities. I believe Covid-19 has been a major contributor to the disrepair.
For those looking to come here for the wave pool, slides or lazy pool, please don’t. They are not opened yet. Unfortunately, no information is shared by ActiveSG with regards to the timeline for the repairs or maintenance needed. I hope the repairs can be swift, so that kids in the west can have something fun to look towards to.
To end this review on a positive note, the toodler and kids play area are still rather enjoyable for kids up to 5 years old with bubble jets providing some form of fun with the lack of a water playground that are common in newer swimming complex like Jurong West Swimming Complex.
Can’t wait for this awesome swimming complex to find its glory in the near future.
This is featured swimming complex (one of seven or eight in Singapore), not normal one. very good place for kids, and parents. ticket is very very cheap (2S$ for adult in weekend)and can be paid by Activesg and EZlink. There is pizzahut and KFC at the entrance.
It’s a second time, last weekend my 4.5years old kid went for swimming classes and got feaver (Viral)…Not happy with quality of water in the pool.
Any way only Long course Pool and Baby pools are ON in this Complex… Other Fancy pools like wave pool and high Tower rides are closed since years. Other facilities like changing rooms, showers, toilets are in average condition. Main problem is there is only one way to enter in this premices, get Active SG app and buy passes. No more other Debit/Credit/MRT cards are accepted.
A decent evening getaway for kids n adults alike. The officials are mindful of safety and you are supposed to use a proper Swimming attire.
Good place for Swimming and fun. Cheap entry fee. Can be crowded during weekends
Fun and cheap. Love the lazy river and artificial waves!
It is rather inexpensive to enter, it being around $2. There are also quite a few ammenities such as slides and a wave pool to have fun with and also rent out floats for about $3. The wave pool only activates at certain times of the day, however you can still go and have fun there.
Well maintained and lazy pool is fun one thing is i didn’t know in the wave pool, wave comes hourly and it lasts for 10 mins other than that is just ok i’ll visit there once in awhile
Lots of fun water activities can be done here, reasonable parking lots for those whose drive and location is very near to Chinese garden MRT, just across the road only.
Not crowded on a weekday. Facilities are clean and in good condition. Small locker is 20 cents, bigger lockers are 40 cents. Entrance fee is $1.50 (weekdays). Float rental available.
Abit confuse on finding the entrance to the pool
You just need to tap your ezlink card at the entrance to pay entrance fee and you can bring your own food/ Allowed.
for intermediate swimmer and beginner, not much slides option for solo but are fun and thrilling, adult pool is crowded depending on the timing ( most likely evening and on weekend). theres also wave pool for wave simulation and lazy river for kids. theres also baby pool for babies ofc
The only public pool in Jurong East.
Nearest MRT at Chinese Garden.
Here, they offer the standard competition pool, children pool and addition relax and wave pool. Cost for adult entry on weekday is $1.50.
It is usually crowded on weekend. Parking is available usually.
After swim, take a short walk (5mins) to the nearby market and get to enjoy plenty of local food fare at reasonable price. A great place to go with the family.
A lot oc waterpark facilities! However, the slide tower and jacuzzi are often close, which makes me sometimes unable to take the rides. But overall, it is a good place for food, swim, and fun activities
It has two tubes to do water tube riding. The place is normally corwded in the evenings in weekend. Nice place but the water is normally hot in every pool, you may or may not find it good or bad.
Pretty good place for swimming. They have a lap pool, giant water slides, a children corner pool and a wave beach. Closed on every Monday for cleaning.
Overall the pool facilities were great and enjoyable for many of the patrons . However, the popularly frequented Slide tower and the Jacuzzi have been closed; due to some upgrading work which is still in progress . Would be great if the management can speed up the work progress and re-open it for the public at the earliest.
A nice place to have my weekend swim with my buddies.
Not a bad place to have fun! But after a few hours it will get boring if you keep doing the same thing. Do bring your friends if you want to have unlimited fun!
A good place to soak and swim on the hot days. Usually crowded on weekends. Nice wave pool and slides.
Good swimming complex, let down only by the cashless system. C’mon, allow payment for entry to be made by cash or credit card, rather than a complex and tedious system with an app and registration.
Good one but slides are not there because of the pandemic but you can enjoy the lap pool overall it’s a good choice for a swim has it has more lanes more area
I had an absolute blast at this when I was young. Lazy river is the best thing I”ve ever experienced in my life!
One of the best or the best swimming complex in singapore.it has a lazy pool with a tunnel and also two bridge going above a sprout water when you go under the bridge it also have a wave pool in the middle and three slidewhich are colour yellow ( short slide without float needed ) , Pink ( Medium slide float required ) , Blue (The highest slide and longest slide float required *note it has a beautiful view of the surrounding area and the swimming complex ) also if you are riding the slide you must be 1.2 Meter and above.there is also a kid water playground for kids to play in.
Float cost : $5 but after two hour which is $2 they will returned you $3 (Two hour rental)
If you are wondering how much to get in you can buy ticket or use an ez link card (*Note price ranges from 60 cents to $2.00 price might change over time.)
If you are hungry there is food outlets like KFC and etc.
If you are wondering how to get to jurong east swimming complex you can take:
1st) East west line and alight at lakeside (EW26) and take about 5 to 10 mins walk to the location
2nd)take a public bus and there should be a bus stop about 5 mins away (Pls check in google if you are taking the bus what bus stop to allight and what bus number to take)
3rd)take a grab,uber or taxi
Lastly have fun and enjoy yourself
Need to book the pool via activesg app during covid period. Slots are available hourly. 1830 1930 2030. Pool entry allowed sharply at the allocated time and you need to get out of pool by the 45 min mark to change and shower to allow next group of swimmer to start theirs.locker available for safekeeping belonging.
They should remove all photos of the slides as they have not been open for nearly a year as under renovations but they still don’t have a date that it’ll be done by
Best place to spend time in weekends. Only 2sgd charge. Locker facility available with 2&4 sgd charge.
Got everything like an older version adventure cove minus the slides…but only need to pay $2 entrance fee.
Good facility, good price, lots of staff monitoring the pools so it’s safe for children. Fun slides
A cheap alternative to other water themeparks. Water slides and wavepool. Great for the family. Gets crowded on weekends.
I went there, thought that the swimming complex will close at 9.30pm but when I reached there at 7pm and quickly went to swim but I only had about 1hr to play as the workers asked me to be out of the pool at abt 8pm.. THIS IS RIDICULOUS !
Life guards keep blowing whistler’s for everything. Instead of walking forward to tell the ppl. What to do. N once a gal almost drown.. They whistle the swimmers nearby to save the gal…! Over use of whistlers. And inconsistent regulations.
As of May 2022 only the lap pool and wading pool are open. The water playground and slides are still closed.
A neighborhood swimming with high slide fun and feature pools. A good place for family outdoor activity.
Last update/ review Feb2017
Disappointed with how the place was teared down of its “rocky mountains” designs. Atmosphere wasn’t great nor enjoyable yet the prices of entrance & rental of float went up. Definitely not satisfied.
It was fun. There’s tons of rides for all ages. Adults can enjoy it with their childrens.
A fun place with lazy and wave pool. Though the slides are having a revamp, it is still a good place for family and friends.
Just witness an incident, they have highly professional life-guard who are always on the job, on their toes. Salute!
My cousins and younger brother like to come to this place to play in this swimming complex even though there is a swimming complex near our house. It is fun to play with a big pool with occational waves, slides, “lazy river” (idk the correct name of this “attraction”), kiddy pool, normal pool
Renovations going on. The entrance to the pool is now at the first floor itself near the steps and lift. Rest is all as usual.
Some of the factilies have fallen into disrepair after covid time (2 year) it is now just good for people to just go swimming. Hopefully more like lazy pool and man made wave will open up in time to come
Went here with my family on a Saturday. The place is quite good despite the number of people visiting it. The pools were cleaner than most of the swimming complex that we visited. Same goes with the showers/changing rooms. This place provides lockers for you to keep your valuables while enjoying the various pools.
This place is great for kids and adults alike.
The pool , the wave and jacuzzi still on renovation it’s been 3 years and baby pool no longer cold water …
I still prefer their old “cave” design for the lazy river. Other than that, there is a float rental and adult pool and a few water slides.
No slides available, only big pool and the kids pool
Practical, will need to rejuvenate the venue with energies
Nice places for various sports, such as Badmintons, PinPon, gim, swimming, footballs…. also have KFC insides.
All water slides can’t be used.
Lazy river still available but need to rent for the tubes.
Jacuzzi, tsunami and competition pool are available.
The jacuzzi & lazy river side had closed for time being, hopefully can reopen in the coming future.
Great spot, kids have a great time and all the slides were open. Very cheap to enter, clean and plenty of lifeguards…well worth a visit …
Awesome slides and pools, but be aware that they close off all slides and pools immediately if the weather turns bad
Though only lap pools are open during Phase 2, it’s been such a nice reprieve to be able to swim after so long.
Booking through ActiveSG site is a bit clunky (have to login first to see available times), but once that’s done everything else is smooth. You sign up for a one hour time period, get to swim for 45 mins or so.
The pool is split into 5 lanes or so, one of them being a slow lane. Pick a lane and start doing laps before time runs out!
Nice and clean water swimming complex
Punggol, located on the far east side of Singapore, is a nice small village perfect for the biking adventurer. Get to experience the local scenery on bikes with friends or daily and you’re sure to have a fantastic time.
Very clean, need the wave pool to open up and the lazy pool, for fun for kids
Nice place to swim and relax, good for weekends family activity. There are some fast food like KFC, Pizza Hut and Pasta Mania for you after the sports.
I love this place, but the fact that you can’t pay with cash to go in is upsetting. Tourists don’t waste your time coming here if you do want to come, you have to buy yourself an ez-link at the nearest MRT station.
When I went there, we need to do a lot of booking and reserving which took an hour. When we were right about to leave, they offered us a walk-in offer. Only them did we go swimming. But overall it was a fustrating process.
Go there during the weekdays and you’ll have a nice relaxing place for waterslides and lazy river. Though the number of slides are limited, the entry fee is very cheap and well worth it
Great place to relax and have fun, but you have to check the weather first as the park will close during wet weather
Jurong East swimming complex is like a swimming pool somewhere and there is a pool designed specially to make waves like the surf is a lot of fun making artificial waves As well as eateries nearby and also close to the Chinese garden MRT.
Can’t complain. Entry fees doesn’t get any cheaper and it’s still fun for the kids. Might do some good to spruce up the jaded facilities.
[PRICE] (5 out of 5)
$2 ENTRY $3 TUBE Great value for the price
Though the tube is “optional” I would say that limits you quite a bit as most all of the slides require the tube.
I have been to many water parks that I would say are better than this one or offer more pools and slides this is by far one of the cheapest I have ever been to. If this were more expensive I would probably give them a 3 out of 5 but since the cost was so low I gave them 4.
[WAVE POOL] (5 out of 5)
This way pool does not have sand (my preference) and is large enough for everyone. The lifeguards aren’t too fussed about you getting close to the no swim line.
[SLIDES] (3 out of 5)
All but one of the slides requires the tubes which is kind of a bummer. The only slide that doesn’t require a tube is pretty small. The inside of each of the tubes is pretty hot. The excitement factor would also be low in my opinion (speed, turns, and general craziness).
[FACILITIES / SEATING] (2 of 5)
In my opinion this place doesn’t have enough seating for those that are not swimming. In addition to this there is not enough “shaded” seating. To finish this off the seating they do have doesn’t have a decent view of the pools, slides, etc so you can keep a close watch on your kids.
I used to love going here as a kid, although it was far far away to the west. What I like about this place was, for just under $2, you get to take the fun slides and swim in such a nice environment, different from those you see at other neighborhood pools. Of course now, there are other great alternatives like Anchorvale and Tampines Hub, but this is still one of the nicest public pools around!
Great fun for the kids. Has three water slides. The lowest one is the fastest and shortest and doesn’t require a float. The Blue is highest and the Red a bit lower but the riders are longer and slower than the Yellow and a float is required. Less of a line for the red. Recommended.
Kids include splashy mushroom (meh), splashing jungle gym like area (very splashy) and very roomy kiddy pool (great for little ones).
The lazy river current is surprising strong and enjoyable.
The wave pools is just awesome. Found the facilities to be rather clean with attentive life guards though they should be more strict with babies required to wear swim diapers.
Changing rooms have individuals stalls with shower.
Can’t be beat for the price.
We had a lot of fun at the lazy river and wave pool. However, the facilities there are super old. They do not accept NETS/Flashpay/Master Visa card. So given 4 stars due to the facilities.
A nice place for sport outdoor and indoor and swimming! Cheap. $2 for adults and $1 for kids. Prices vary depending on time of week and residency. Located in West Singapore, near Chinese Gardens MRT. May not be the ideal place for tourists, who have limited time on hand. But great for locals or residences!
This place is basically dead, swimming facilities are damn old and no repair and upgrade. Plus the safety distance controls which just small number of people can use
Although a quarter of it is still under renovation. The rest of the pools are great. Best timing to come is around 2pm – 5pm as there is not much people.
This pool got wave pool, lazy river, 3 slides, competition pool and a kids pool. Floats are rentable with a small fee and its great for family bonding time
Just went yesterday on Saturday 17 December 2016. When there’s lightning alert the guard alerted all the people to gather at the covered area as it was raining. But bad thing the guard just shake leg do nothing, but whistling to the kids who were under the shelter playing their float which is not a problem but the guard kept screaming at the kids. So after the rain has slowed down and apparently no rain, the announcer/speaker said they will delay as is still have lighting alert. They kept delaying and delaying until everyone go back home cuz the delay kept going on. so i rate it as a very bad experience ever
Just $2 for lots of fun! ($2 more for a float)
facilities are not upgraded since Covid and is an eyesore.
Typically go there for evening classes. Staff helpful and friendly. Management seems a little distance from what is going on or needed, with no sense of urgency…water slide closed for months with no signs of activity.
Brought my family into this place….quite interesting and enjoyable playtime with my kids….upset over the entry payment where deduction is been made twice etc…entry and exit point…..please look into it….And hope they can expedite the maintenance works for sliding pools….it can pull in more crowds….
Sad, the slides are under renovation, but the wave pool and lazy pool is just great to unwind. For those swimming for health, there is a competition size lap pools.
Hope the slides open soon…
Amazing value for money, great place. The wave pool is really good, but the lazy river is dirty sometimes
Good place for the residents to play sports and they have an active health lab set up for people to come learn more what à healthy lifestyle is
Singaporeans love anything cheap and good, we love a good deal! And that’s exactly what the Jurong East Swimming Complex is. Where else can you find a waterpark complete with a competition and kiddy pool, wave pool, lazy river, stream course, jacuzzi and three different water slides for the price of just S$2.60 (weekend rate for foreigners)!
This is arguably Singapore’s largest public swimming pool, and the most affordable and value-for-money waterpark. Don’t expect anything fancy but for the price you pay, it’s worth every penny. This is also where Singaporeans love to go, and what better way for your kids or even you to make friends with some locals than to go where we go?
This is a great stop before or after some outlet shopping, also located in Jurong East. There is also a KFC within the complex for your refuel.
Almost all rides are closed until further notice. Enjoyed the lazy river. The wave pool worked once an hour but we were not aware and hence missed this too due to not being aware of this.
They removed the kids water playground. The water slides are closed for renovation.
A lazy river, wave pool, water slides, jacuzzi and play area, all for $2 per entry. What’s there not to like! Just take note that all these features close at 8.30pm, ahead of the official pool closure at 9pm.
One of the best public swimming complexes in Singapore! Water slide, lazy river and wave pool are 3 key highlights of the place. There are also other facilities such as competition pool, jacuzzi and bubble jet ski. The entrance rate is very reasonable. Adult entrance is up to $2. Child entrance is up to $1. Senior citizen entrance is also up to $1. The nearest MRT station is Chinese Garden. The fee is payable via ActiveSG credit.
good is good. but now a day. not.much thing can play. too baf, you see. …
Fun to go for date or with family. The slide is not too bad.
Shower area can be improved as many damaged facilities are not repaired.
There are fun features such as a wave pool, water slides and a raging river. There is even a KFC restaurant with a pool view.
Clean toilets. Good numbers of cubicles. Spacious.
Clean and good number of lockers.
Easy to enter. Lots of payment methods. Ezlink, cash, nets, mastercard, visa and activesg for those that have it.
2kids pool, 1 lazy river, 1 olympic pool, 1 wave pool (not the expected high wave) and 3 slides pool (under renovation). Big donut float service @ $3. Payment by cash and nets. Pools are clean and spacious enough for a weekend crowd. Lazyriver current are adjusted to the crowd level. Great!
For family waiting unfortunately, not enough sitting areas. Front lobby and olympic pool only. Not enough shelter from the sun.
Didn’t know that the slides and lazy pool were all closed. Only the lap pool is open, but it was ok, not crowded at all.
Very clean place car park Good service. Area Awsome
It was a little disappointing to go on a day when the water slides were closed for repair. However, while the other attractions are mostly geared for children, my friends and I had a lot of fun in the wavepool and the river (which actually moves quite fast). Using the lockers was frustrating because they only accept $.2 coins, but the entry fee was only $2 and we were able to pay using our ezlink cards. Tubes are available for rental but definitely not necessary to have fun. Just a short walk from Chinese Garden MRT Station. Suitable for every member of the family.
Crowded on Sundays. Can only swim in adult deep pool.
Only the lap pool open the rest is close till further notice
Pool was very clean and lifeguards were v.attentive.
Preferable to go their weekdays, less crowded and enjoyable.
