As a Green Line subway station in Jurong East, it is very convenient to use as it is connected to several shopping malls and residential areas.

Jurong East MRT.Station connects the station wth two shopping Malls..Jem & Westgate. It has a large entrance foyer..which id cluttered up with a central elevator, poor signage & designed over a generation ago for a certain volume of passengers it is now finding hard to cope eth in peak hrs. The approch walkway frm the Bus Terminus is badly dedignef wth needless slopes..instead of a flat even ealkway & sides exposed to rain. Overall impression is of a third world environment.

The place was nice. One thing that triggered me is that when i went to get my first card for using MRT, the guy sitting at the counter was a little rude. Unfortunately, people from Malaysia used to call uncle when the person looks like an adult age after 30 or 40. So i called him uncle and his reply really shocked me. But yea, i get the point that we are in different country and the way we speak should be according to their logic and sense.

The station itself is quite big, with many levels and connections to nearby places of interest. This place has given me many wonderful memories as this place is a key connection node for many residents here. Overall, a great station.
