Very far and complicated bridge to Singapore.

2.5 years hasn’t went over to Johor Baru Malaysia to visit parent-in-law. Covid-19 separated many family by a link bridge acrossed. Finally today we can make a lomg waited trip. Believe many are making the same trip. Look at the jam….. probably going to take 45mins to an hour to cross Malaysia custom.

How can you not like this place. It your one stop out of the country
The buy ticket before hand. Need your passport for registration for every passenger. The waiting place have limited seat. People are standing wait. While the train have a lot of seats. However the train is go to place for express auto gate since less people. Very good choice on weekend and people is not comfortable to constantly moving.
Crowded as usual. The flow was quite smooth with electronic counters and maned counters running at the same time.
Where 2 countries are connected
Need to have sheltered walkway throughout.
It’s an old bridge that links Malaysia and Singapore together. Traffic can be light or heavy depending on which timings. Smoother traffic flows could be achieved by moderating the flows at different hours and the availability of the Customs Counters and speed of clearance during peak hours. Let’s look for the best of all.
Traffic jams are normal.
堵车是正常。
Very James. Probably due to school holidays.

Either heavy traffic or jammed at Causeway most of the time
One of the ways to travel between Singapore and Malaysia. Do avoid peak hours else you would be trapped for hours!!

1912.
It is very crowded, and the distance between cars is far from the Japanese sense.
The feeling of running so tight is also necessary for Japanese people.

すごく混んでいて、車間距離云々は日本人の感覚とは大きくかけ離れている。
これくらいぎゅうぎゅうに走る感覚、日本人にも必要です。
Jam
Speechless
Going out is not really a major problem. But coming in(Johor), traffic police should stand guard daily during peak hours. Cars usually likes to take on to Bus lane. At times, traffic police are doing a good job…Summoned!
Hopefully there will be a dedicated pedestrian path in the future
希望以后有专用的行人道路
The best way to get to Malaysia! Its only one drive across. Traffic can always be looked up and anticipated!
Okay

The epidemic is still there, and the daily congestion is restored.
疫情还有,恢复拥堵日常。

Best bridge, only bridge. You can always check the traffic cameras online to see the traffic situation. Although I have found the traffic on google maps to be accurate as well.

Every Saturday from 1200 noon start traffic jam till 0000 mignight. If you going to Malaysia. and every Sunday if you going to Singapore start jam between 1300 to 1400 until 0100 mignight.
The first link causeway of Malaysia and Singapore. Normally it would be crammed during peak hours, festive season and school holidays. For working people it is recomended to plan your journey to avoid the jam.
A link between 2 loves…

This is not a bridge but a causeway. It is 1.6km long took 5 ,years to built. Work started in 1920 and completed in 1924. The causeway has the trunk road and water supply for singapore from south johor. At the time of completion there was also a railway line from johor baru to singapore.During world war 2 the retreating british blew a 70′ gap in the causeway in 1942 but the japanese army engineers filled in the gap for their final attack on singapore.
Good for adventure walk…
The Landmark of High City

I often pass through this long period of time, and immediately take pictures in the neutral position. The scenery is not bad, isn’t it??

The legendary bridge to Singapore.
Only go to eat

Always packed but they do increase lanes with increased traffic. Toilets and top up available.
Humm
Hurm
Even though i prefer the older bridge rather this current one.
Bottleneck near the lane near lorries and busses.
Basically traffic is bad getting in and out on certain times of the day.
Motorbike lane is worse…can be stuck in traffic for 2 hrs at most.
The first link bridge in Singapore which connects to Malaysia. Have used this road often.
Nahid
The bridge you know when you cross it the fun is about to begin.
One of 2 bridges that link Singapore to the state of Johor in Peninsula Malaysia. You dont want to be trapped for hours in a traffic jam especially on weekend and public holidays for crossing that normally takes 10 mins.
Traffic jam always
Peaceful
Excited going singapore
I nice place to walk over into johor, Malaysia during sunset. But due to the heavy jam, walking over the causeway is because of the traffic jam. And thus one will not enjoy the beautiful sunset.
– Between the bridges!
—桥之间!
Need to check on the traffic before you use this.
Well organised by the immigration team
Not well maintained
Relaxing

Jam
LOL not sure why there is a rating needs for this causeway. but crossing to Malaysia Johor for a quick get away, causeway is definitely better than 2nd link as it goes straight to the center of JB.
Easiest way to woodlands Singapore
Good place to cross over to Singapore but the parking there is terrible. They should build more multi-storey car park. The bus stop near the lower basement is a nuisance and not many buses ply the route you want. There are a lot of illegal taxi. Just be careful of your wallets as the place is well known to pickpockets.
Ok
Sometimes heavy jammed

Always traffic jam
One of the 2 ways to get to Malaysia by vehicle from Singapore. This is the more popular bridge as compared to 2nd link at Tuas and do expect Long que on peak hours and special occasions like school holidays and public holidays.
Very sturdy and sometimes have jam
After years of travelling to Malaysia, one thing that doesn’t change is the causeway jam
Jam while using it
