The buy ticket before hand. Need your passport for registration for every passenger. The waiting place have limited seat. People are standing wait. While the train have a lot of seats. However the train is go to place for express auto gate since less people. Very good choice on weekend and people is not comfortable to constantly moving.

It’s an old bridge that links Malaysia and Singapore together. Traffic can be light or heavy depending on which timings. Smoother traffic flows could be achieved by moderating the flows at different hours and the availability of the Customs Counters and speed of clearance during peak hours. Let’s look for the best of all.

It is very crowded, and the distance between cars is far from the Japanese sense.
The feeling of running so tight is also necessary for Japanese people.

Going out is not really a major problem. But coming in(Johor), traffic police should stand guard daily during peak hours. Cars usually likes to take on to Bus lane. At times, traffic police are doing a good job…Summoned!

This is not a bridge but a causeway. It is 1.6km long took 5 ,years to built. Work started in 1920 and completed in 1924. The causeway has the trunk road and water supply for singapore from south johor. At the time of completion there was also a railway line from johor baru to singapore.During world war 2 the retreating british blew a 70′ gap in the causeway in 1942 but the japanese army engineers filled in the gap for their final attack on singapore.

Good place to cross over to Singapore but the parking there is terrible. They should build more multi-storey car park. The bus stop near the lower basement is a nuisance and not many buses ply the route you want. There are a lot of illegal taxi. Just be careful of your wallets as the place is well known to pickpockets.
