Food was not too bad…atmosphere was so so only. Abit warm and cramp but otherwise experience was good. The staff/server were also very friendly and understanding. They don’t have PayNow or credit card payment… Have to use cash. Operating hours are long too, so can grab supper at this eatery if other places are closed.

Open almost 24 hours (never stayed long enough to find out). Food is self-service.

Tried many things here, such as the signature mee pok (lots of ingredients, but not fantastic for $4.50), char-grill bar (on the pricey side, but decent western food) and chicken rice (portion is a bit small and boney but it’s $2 so no complaints).

Usually hard to find seats during peak hour as everyone is having their lunch/dinner. Also, seats under fans are quite limited, a minus point (the ventilation is quite bad).

    This kopitiam is undrr kimly.
Tried the bak chor mee, hua zai roast, the dimsum and bought drinks from the drink stall. Although i like the bak chor mee and hua zai roast, i will think twice about coming back again because their coffee shall ladies are very unfriendly and always complaining and yell too loudly. I only tried chee chong fun (sauce too sweet) and steam pork ribs (not fantastic) at the dim sum stall so i will give it a missed.

Yes, a lot of food that I am familiar with is available; the food stall has a rich variety of dishes; it looks very attractive; I haven’t had a chance to eat it yet, so I don’t know the price? Jinwei’s big foreskin is worse than Koufu’s big foreskin? But did I eat shrimp dumplings? It’s hard to eat shrimp dumplings now? There is another coffee shop at the end of the street; haven’t you been in? Take your time, shall we? I walked so hard huh…? Jiang Lizhu (Singapore)

Great kopitiam that’s opened 24 hours with my favorite Fish Soup.

My favorite combination will be the fried fish and ee mian (wheat noodle?) in milk soup. The serving is really generous and the soup is extremely flavorful. The XO and long hours of boiling of the fish bones must have given it the powerful umami taste.

I brought many of my friends and they drank all the soup up and hails this store as one of the best fish soup stalls in Singapore (the taste is as competitive as those serviced in restaurants that charged you double with GST and service surcharge).

MSCP is available although you can see some vehicles parked by the road next to the kopitiam. I learned it the hard way and got fine (twice). Don’t be a risk-taker regardless of the time, the amount fine could foot the bill of a buffet spree in this kopitiam.

My go to 24 hour dinner/supper fix. A variety of choices from chicken rice, western, dimsum, noodles & zi char.

Fried Fish Soup with Milk (S$4)
Love their fried fish soup there. Comes with flavourful soup that is not those fishy kind with the option to add milk. You can even top-up to have XO added to elevate the flavour to the max level at S$6. Personally, I find the original version is good enough and I can get 3 bowls of the original instead of 2 bowls of XO Fried Fish Soup. However, once in a while, i think the XO Fried Fish Soup is worth it to pamper yourself. Have eaten for around 10 years at this coffee shop and I hope it stays for as long as it can.

It is rare to have a coffee shop that operates 24 hours, but not every stall is open 24 hours, which is a fly in the ointment. It would be great if you can still eat fried kway teow in the middle of the night, but many stalls in Singapore are run by Chinese people in the middle of the night, and many of those who know how to eat fried kway teow close their stalls after ten o’clock. Hope there will be a 24-hour Char Kway Teow stall here!

The noodles stall has the best food in this kopitiam imho. Always look forward to coming to this stall whenever I’m in the area. The Tom Yum broth tastes different from your usual Tom Yum, with a hint of tanginess I’m still pondering on the source. A must try, for sure!
