I had a great time at Jack’s Place (Jurong Safra) being served pleasantly by Wai Heng who made my fiance and me very happy with her service and attentiveness. She also helped me freshen up my potato with the signature sour cream and bacon bits. Somebody, give Wai Heng a pay raise and promotion please!

Almost two years since we last visited this place Service has dropped. Staff were rather unfriendly. Took super long time for the drinks (peach cooler, lychee cooler, longan coolers etc) to be served. Doesn’t make sense for simple drinks to take so long to be served. When it came, the peach cooler was very sweet. The aglio Olio was super super tough. Thankfully, the staff offered to do a replacement upon feedback.

The red meat plate are good for affordable price. The entries and the desserts so so (rather close to company’ cantine than French basic pâtisseries from street’ corner). For entries and desserts, rather feel like eating ibis budget hotel than novotel for those who know. Mains really worse it however. So overall as it is cheap it’s OK for quick lunch or dinner.

Hi, I would like to commend the jack’s place team at Jurong safra outlet for an excellent service provided during my dine. You really have a very impressive team of staff. We found a hair in one of our course meal – aglio olio ordered by my friend. whilst i ordered the chicken cutlet. But the team compensated with both our meals as they saw that there was a piece of chicken cutlet in the aglio olio. Thanks team for making our dining experience here an awesome one. Will definitely recommend coming here.

Jacks Place used to be a great Steak Restaurant in the 90’s..till some time in 2000’s.(Their outlet in Killiney Rd was very good).Then they stopped serving Pork products in their dishes..& Fillet Mignon Sizzler steak which had Crispy Bacon on it was revamped wth other items. Further..their service attention to customers had waned also..& Red Wine was served chilled..thus ruining its taste. Lastly like most Western food outlets in Singapore they hardly have any hot vegetarian main dish offerings.. unlike in North America etc (where there are atleast 5-6 items to choose). Overall an average Restaurant wth 5 star prices.

Food quality was acceptable, but the prices were a bit too high for it. Atmosphere and such is just ok. Experience with the service staff was very bad however. I had ordered food did not indicate that it contained egg, something I’m allergic to. Upon receiving the order I realised it contained egg and asked to change the order, and even offered for pay for a new one if necessary. But the staff refused to give me a new portion, claiming I should have stated beforehand I had allergies. I replied that I would have made it known if the food had any possible indication that it might contain egg, but he didn’t not want to listen to reason. In the end I ordered something else, but had to argue to not be charged for the portion I did not eat and had returned. Had considered leaving a lower review but the other staff were polite enough that I feel it would an unfair representation for them.

Always hearty meals here at the good ol’ Jack’s Place! Even kid’s meals are pretty full sized! The familiar western selections, and that potato with skin topped with a heapful of sour cream, bacon bits and spring onions! Really disappointed in their red velvet cake. 3 years ago, we ordered a full 500g red velvet cake and we were served a majestic 3 layered red velvet masterpiece. This time we ordered a whole 500g red velvet again but it was 2 layer of red and 1 layer of cream, and the whole red velvet was covered with coconut shavings, horrible try at a new recipe.
Aside from the unfortunate red velvet incident, service and food quality still remains as great! We enjoyed ourselves.
The steak is so so, ask for medium ended well done steak.

We usually come on weekday afternoons and the lunch deals are pretty good. Recently we had to have a late dinner. I checked the website which stated it closed at 10.30pm that day, last order 30 mins before closing – hence, that should be 10pm last order, right? We arrived at 9pm and were told that the time for their last order had passed. I said that’s not what the website said. They said “Yeah, we feedback to the HQ to change the info on the website but they say cannot be changed.” I thought if that was true, HQ was being very inflexible indeed. In any case, be warned, netizens!

Maybe because they were understaffed… I went there to dine for mother’s day dinner with my mother. I reserved a table but they didn’t seem to have my name on the reservation list? All the waiters were too busy to be flagged down. Clearing of plates was done when they happened to walk past the table, just the arm stretched in, take the plates and walk off. No asking ” Is it okay if I clear the table”. Had 2 items the waiters forgot to bring to us… which took a while for us to get them because the waiters were so hard to flag. In the end, we got some good service from the assistant manager.

Food was average. 4 of us had their steaks..all i have to say is you better have sharks teeth n jaw to chew that meat. Felt like i was fighting the animal while eating it. I was disappointed with the quality served at Jurong Safra branch. Only 3 service crews on that day, beside the slow service, the food quality was bad, steak was tough, lobster was over cooked and not fresh.

Had the T bone set for 2.. the waiting time was definitely not 30min as stated. It took close to an hr for the meat to be served. Sides were generous and we were honestly already full from them while waiting for the main.

I went there in Valentine and ordered their Valentine special. The food is good and the portion is big for the price. Its worth it. But it a little bit crowded and the service is alittle slow, I think is due to the valentine day.
