It used to be much much better … but still a good place to get ramen
Personally love the ramen here. Very popular during dinner time so do expect a queue. Abit pricey though!
Delicious ramen and sides! Love the ramen’s texture and soup!
The 5 star rating is for the SHIROMARU MOTOAJI. 3 separate food prepared to put together a perfect bowl of pork noodles – the pork belly, the noodles and the soup. And the taste and texture is consistent across 3 of the outlets (Shaw Centre and Raffles City) that I have tried. I always top it up with garlic ( u have to ask for it)
You can read more about the preparation and ingredients in their website.
What I don’t like about the menu is the addition of many side dishes like pork or chicken bun over the years. But so long as it does not affect the quality of SHIROMARU MOTOAJI, I’m ok.
The place hasnt changed since the last visit many years ago. The noodles standard is still great! I always love Ippudo Ramen. The order allows you to customize your order on the texture of the noodles, spicy level, add on, remove food garnishes that you don’t like. Recommend this place if you carve for good ramen.
note to self for future visits: akamaru, add bamboo shoots, hard noodles, 3 cloves of garlic
Very good ramen.
Quality dropped. Service was super good tho.
The best ramen in town. Must try when in town.
Popular Japanese restaurant for ramen. Quality food. there is always a long queue so do come during off peak hours
Nice ambience but pretty busy in comparison to the other locations especially with a lot of families visiting. Perfect for large groups as they have large wooden dining tables. Food is great as always.
Service was great. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and food came quite fast. Ramen noodles were nice and bouncy (you can choose between soft, medium or hard ramen there; this one was medium), and the broth was full of flavour. The best of all was the char siew: extremely juicy, soft and tender, the best char siew I have ever tasted. Food was a little pricey, but definitely worth it. Definitely would be back!
Note: The extra char siew in the picture below (in a plate at the side) was an add-on for $3.90.
Went specially to this branch for its Sakura menu. The sakura decoration along the ceiling and entrance is nice. The ramen retain its quality and its usual ippudo standard.
But very disappointed on the sakura menu, pure gimmick, and taste less than good.
The sakura cocktail is not my cup of tea. The mochi taste very ordinary, and the sakura tea is just putting one 1 sakura petal in a normal green tea. 1 petal per set only so basically the 3rd cup onward the tea taste just like green tea.
There is alot branch in Singapore, not worth the trip to this branch.
Nice food with good vibe.
Ramen noodles quality dropped by a lot, luckily Gyoza and potato salad still as good as it was.
Service staffs very good service and attentive.
Good ramen. I probably had my expectations set too high as I wasn’t impressed by the food, although it was still good. The place is quite popular so you will have to queue for around 30mins at least.
Nice taste! ……..soup is nice……noodle is qq………….
Great ramen!
Excellent Ramen! Food was truly superb and satisfying. Highly recommended to come and enjoy ramen with friends!
Prefer sanpoutei ramen, that is more springy and the chashu melts in your mouth. The broth is however acceptable. Customer service is below average too.
It is listed as one of the top 5 ramen in SG. I’m not a ramen expert but I loved it! The ramen broth was delicious. Tried the guioza too and liked it – very light flavor and thin skin.
Nice place good food
Good food but exp
This place or the food is really good and very nice also really healthy food I like so much. …
After a few years of being around, the quality of Ippudo’s ramen has significantly dropped. The ramen broth is watered down now permanently. The pork bun is still alright, but doesn’t warrant a visit. Overall I doubt I would recommend this ramen to anyone.
Ippudo is my go-to ramen restaurant. This time ended off my meal with the Goma ice cream, which was surprisingly good!
One of the best ramen I have tried in Singapore.
My favorite orders are:
*Akamaru Ramen
comes with black garlic and tamago egg, the brooth is cloudy nice flavoured.
You can choose the noodle hardness.
*Gyosa
skin is thin enough to wrap and holds well the fillings in it.
Good texture.
New try:
*Macha Tiramisu
Very Macha! Good for Macha lovers.
Cannot really taste any alcohol.
When I am drinking Macha and having this desert, I find it is too much Macha taste.
Total bill for 2 pax:
2 bowls of ramen,
1 plate of 10 pieces Gyosa,
1 Macha Tiramisu
= S$80+
Delicious food!
Decent ramen but spotty service – forgot one of our ramen orders (out of four). They also recently dropped their only vegetarian ramen option.
This place is always crowded but for a good reason, the ramen is delicious. Some ramen has that porky tasting broth but this place has theirs perfectly balanced. Yum
Frequently visited this place. Nice Ramen they have
Great place, ambient & service. With great food of course!
Ordered the Salmon Aburi Rice Bowl this time. Will surely be back to try their Ramen next. Ordered some other side dishes to share, & the salmon roll (one of their global favorites) was .
One of my favourite bowl of ramen in Singapore. Helpful staff and it has added some intersting side dishes like the grilled pork ribs …
Great food everytime. Karakamen is awesome.
Good ramen place! The set for 2 was worth the money
Tried a diff ramen today , their original is still nicer
Super yummy filling bento set for as cheap as about $11.
Sat at counter helping to reduce wait time. As a ramen novice, I was impressed with speed of service, quality / taste of the food, and reasonable prices (especially considering the Orchard Rd location)
good food. waiting time – hmm not too sure about that. the hype is legit though.
Good Ramen to try
Nice
Good thing about this place is the flavour is consistent. But at this particular outlet the service can be improved.
Almost as good as the ones in Tokyo. The broth is my consistent comfort food, could always do better with its Char Siew, Ramen Eggs and Dashimaki Tamago. The dining experience is also pretty different from its outlets in Tokyo but all in all a great place to have a meal and not worry about the quality.
Great noodles! Really pricey..
The waiter named Alex really helpful he walk and see which of our order is not coming up and with just one glance he know the item that we order has not served yet. Thank you Alex.
Great place! Opens until 11pm on weekdays! Good for late dinner where all the other restaurants closes at 10?
Love the ramen..one of the best in SG.
Ramen all tastes about the same. Side dishes were okay, the chicken was great but the beef not so much. Gyozas were great but small!
On of the best quality ramen. Like the fried rice.
Used to love the ramen here and will happily queue for it. But my latest visit is disappointing. The broth is so underwhelming. The service was not as good as before.. the staff gathered at their ordering counter and chatted there. Had to try so hard to get their attention… These factors probably explained why there is no longer a queue.
Siphon Ramen, 2nd edition of Chef’s Special. An immersive dining experience as we choose our preferred soup flavour and it is being prepared right before us!
Made of clear chicken broth, you can take your pick from the 4 umami options available – Ebi (shrimp), Sake (salmon), Saba (mackerel) and Yakiago (flying fish)
Inconsistent food and service standards, not as good as before. Corn fritter not that nice, super oily.
Great food! I really love the grilled corn here! Taste very good!
The chashu was one of the best ones I have had but I prefer the noodles and broth of other Ramen shops.
Pretty good ramen. Busy place. Wait staff cleared our bowls the moment we were done with the food, passive aggressive hint to get our butts out.
Akamaru Tamago
Shiromaru Tamago
Sake Tasting Flight with:
– Manazuru Junmai Daiginjo
– Kubota Junmai Daiginjo
– Hakkaisan Tokubetsu Junmai
️Long post warning!
Food wise: Firstly for the Shiromaru, really love the creaminess, it was thick, depthful and super tasty. One will need another bowl of soup here. When one thinks of ramen broth, this is the quality one should expect.
Noodles, as requested on the menu, were medium, they came with a nice firm and Q texture, easy to slurp, so good!
Meat wise, I had two types, pork belly chashu and chicken chashu. The pork chashu break pretty easily, it was soft and delicious. The chicken one was firm and tender, really good too! They have this promotion where one gets a free topping when joining their #ippudomandaringallery
Telegram group, woah, worth it.
Lastly, the egg, just look that the sun looking yolk! It was the nice, sticky and tasty one! One would suggest soaking some soup and eating it, so good!
Akamaru’s broth is different, it was thick, depthful and garlicky. It was very fragrant! For more taste of garlic, one can request garlic and their garlic press, fresh garlic just brings more fragrance and a bit of spice to it!
Sake wise: The Manazuru was light, smooth and really refreshing, it was also sweet and rich in rice taste!
Kubota one was smooth, stronger taste but equally sweet and rich!
Hakkaisan, which was the strongest of them all brings a bit of heat, just that tad bit, to the throat, and sweet! It did taste pretty special, having a clean finish and hint of spring water.
Ambience wise: Great for dates and gatherings, feels like being in a high SES restaurant!
Service wise: Great! The staff were prompt and friendly!
Price wise: Very worth it!
Akamaru Tamago $18.80
Shiromaru Tamago $17.80
Sake Tasting Flight $15
Came here with friends on a Sunday evening and it’s not very packed. Price is actually on the affordable end for the setting. Wide selection of menu.
Not very salty, creamy and silky taste of ramen. Better than the ones i tried in Malaysia.
Calm atmosphere, good for groups, price is reasonable, service is good, well trained. Food is delicious, i ate their special one and its good, even though the real one is different than the menu picture (i only get 2 slice of meat instead of 3, and some other thing is missing) but its delicious
Quite the authentic hakata ramen shop with a pretty posh theme
Great tasting soup base that finds the perfect balance to be flavourful without being “salty”. Good value for money too
Tried their new style of “cooking” the ramen soup base (like making coffee)
The siphon method is interesting and you can choose 4 different flavours.
Quite expensive to try it and in the end, I still prefer the original pork soup base.
Nice experience here everytime. Best ramen.
Located in Mandarin Gallery.
A great place to enjoy a bowl of ramen with some alcoholic drinks. The place was well-decorated. It was a pleasant surprise to see many bowls glued to the wall- the bowls were in a dust-free condition.
There were different type of beer, sake, cocktails to choose from, including wine. Another pleasant surprise to find some much alcoholic drink. Definitely a good place to chill out on a Friday night.
There were so much choices for the toppings to go with your favourite ramen, of course, each toppings would cost extra. Thankfully, the prices were reasonable. Considering it was in the middle of Orchard Road- prime location.
Definitely a great place to relax after a hard day of work!
Strongly recommended.
Nice place not long que
Delicious.. however have to que. 40mins at peak hours.
Loved the akumaru flavour (with garlic oil & stronger taste than the original) ramen. I added an egg because the lunch deal did not come with one. Lunch set included a drink, appetizer (eg salad, karaage).
Not my favourite ramen but you can still give it a try, this outlet is a bit hard to find and standard wasn’t as good when i came, could be due to the crowds though.
Love the wide selection of sake..
Best Ramen in Singapore
Imagine eating in Orchard Road, in a chic Japanese restaurant on a Friday night but paying a bill of $55.20 all inclusive!! Oh & did I say it’s for 2 pax! It’s Ippudo’s 36 anniversary & so they’re offering dining sets at $36/-. We both had the Garlic Ramen & omg, it was beyond good. The broth was silky & so “collagenly” with just the right amount of black garlic & all its umami goodness. I could see the 2 perfectly whole & in shape char siew & I just knew it was going to be a feast for the taste buds, & I wasn’t wrong. From the gyoza to the cucumber starter (not part of the set & at an additional cost ) to the chicken karage, everything tasted great & was served on time, by very pleasant servers. The whole experience was memorable. My husband wanted to try the lemon soda so the staff packed the canned drinks that was part of the dinner set for us. I’ve eaten at their other branch at Shaw Centre & wasn’t disappointed either. This wonderful restaurant is offering $36 for a couple ramen, couple sides & drinks until end October, as part of its 36 year anniversary. It’s my go to place to get exceptional ramen. Thanks so much Ippudo!
Reasonable price..great food
My favorite Ramen place in Singapore
Good food, great service
Favourite ramen! Love the lunch promo. A small bowl of ramen, a side dish and a drink @ $15.90! Must try!
Best place to eat if you are alone and looking for places to eat in the area, friendly service from the staffs, even after I finish my noodle, they still offer to top up my ice water and never try to clear my bowl to chase me away, really appreciate.
My first time to Ippudo at Mandarin
The food we ordered:
Aburi Salmon Mentaidon, Bonito ramen, Chicken bun, Shaka fries, Crispy corn,
The overall food was tasty and pretty flavorful.
Mentaidon: You can smell the burnt mentaiko smell, which is yummy. The rice a little too soft but acceptable. But you can’t really taste the salmon anymore as the overall mentaiko was too salty.
Ramen: You can taste the bonito flavour in the soup. The pork belly was tender but a bit dry. The ramen no longer bouncy when it arrives on our table.
Chicken Bun: I felt deceived when it came on our table. It doesn’t feel as big as what was on the menu photo .
Shaka fries save the day, taste like 4fingers fries without chili.
Crispy corn, the flour is hardened ️
Service:
It’s just Meh staff: “Only order 1 ramen? Enough meh?”
Me: …?
They serve drinks last, their service crew were forgotten our cha.
They give activity paper and pencil to the kiddos. They help us take photo too ️ 1 of the service crew ask permission before clearing our table.
One of the best Ramen in Singapore
great service, nice sides and has vegetarian options …
Located in Mandarin Gallery.

Service has dropped so much since the time i went there
Nice environment. Good service. Ramen broth…awesome!
One of the best broth in Singapore. They also consistently make the noodle hardness
Food’s okay but I prefer other ramen joints. Not fond of Ippudo’s queue system either.
Wonderful Ramen, just the texture I like. The zucchini was good with the sauce.
Stopped in for a quick late night bite and ate the best okonomiyaki I’ve had for a long time.
Great ramen! I recommend getting the noodles “hard” if you like them a but chewy. Cucumer with sesame appetizer yummy
Food is always good but not cheap
One of the most delicious menus like a noodle and chicken etc. Staffs also kind utmost
Always the best ramen ……
Perfect place for a decent ramen without breaking the bank. The bonito soup was full of flavor and the noodles done just right. The fried rice was also quite fragrant with enough wok hei. Should’ve ordered the kaedama though, the servings a bit small.
Went here on the afternoon and I think it is the perfect timing since it is not very crowded. The food is very nice. Ramen is a must but you should try the beef cause it is amazing
In my opinion, the best ramen place in Singapore. Fresh garlic for the vampirephobic.
Upscale IPPUDO at Mandarin Gallery! The food taste the same as any other IPPUDO. Nothing special
Great ramen with awesome broth. Service was excellent.
We love IPPUDO. They’re almost always busy and for good reason. This is some of the best ramen you’ll find in Singapore.
The service is quick and efficient, the decor is funky eclectic with an anime edge and the ramen is excellent!
This is one of our go-to favorites when guests are in town.
Food is okay. Service needs a lot of improvement.
Servers are friendly, portions are good for table of 4, environment is great and the food is nice. will come again.. =)
Always enjoy eating out in Ippudo@Mandarin Gallery. Nice setting and friendly service. Delicious pork bun & ramen.
Food was yum, ambience good but far too noisy to hold a conversatio. Without having to shout. Or maybe I’m old
Good place for tonkotsu ramen!
Excellent place for ramen, and my current favourite in town. They offer a few soup bases as well as add-ons that you can pick, such as extra noodles (if you have enough soup), seaweed, egg and so forth.
They also serve up a good salad, called the Ippudo Original Salad. Good dressing.
Expect to queue, so avoid dinner time!
I tried the Siphon soup noodle which is totally amazing. The soup is full of flavor and one of the best I had so far. Keep it up!
Not bad, one of the better ramen in Singapore. Worth going if you have ramen craving.
Always good ramen
Ramen noodles are average and nothing fantastic for the pricey price tag attached. If you fancy small portion with average quality, you can try it. Otherwise nothing fantastic. Kar-rage was decent.
Crazy long queues, had better ramen but this is still applause for ramen lovers.
Fave ramen place. Always so good
Im just visit to stay a while..but its comfy much
Best noodles made to your taste. Reasonably priced. Ambience is good
Good ambience and #ferrylicious ramen. You must try it guys
Good n tasty ramen
Some of the best ramen I’ve ever had! My girlfriend is vegetarian (which can be quite challenging in Singapore) and we were so happy to find out that this IPPUDO branch has a vegetarian ramen on the menu. You can’t go wrong with their classic ramen dishes. Well priced and excellent service too.
Best ramen with good service. …
When you are looking for best ramen, surely ippudo will come straight to the top list ..
Must come everytime in Orchard
I’m am usually not a fan of shoyu ramen but this is beyond my expectations. It is well flavoured and not overly savoury.
I recommend having both the shoyu based and original broth ramen if you are eating with several people. You get to enjoy both of both worlds.
The ambience is fantastic for a ramen place. Waiting time was acceptable.
Only didn’t like the service and flexibility for the food items. Don’t feel like their staff is welcoming and the menu is too rigid as they do not allow you to change the char siew to a different type or the broth.
You still can have halal and delicious Ramen here.
An excellent place to visit if you are a Japanese food lover.
At this outlet, they also offers a wide variety of Sake or alcohol beverages that suits to you preference.
Have one a good session with close friend and colleague of more than a decade here.
Strong recommend if you need a place for good food with nice environment to chill out and enjoy the evening.
One of the best ramen in Singapore
normal tasting ramen. like that we can choose the softness of the noodles. Hard was good. Gyozas are v small.
The ramen still doesn’t disappoint me. Staff were generally nice and friendly. I wanted to order another round of the ramen but it was their closing time. 10/10 will definitely come back again.
Visited for lunch and the service was terrible, it used to be so much better. Staff kept trying to quickly clear my ramen bowl and gyoza multiple times before I was even done even though both still had some left and my friend was still eating as well. Didn’t understand why they were in such a hurry to chase us out when there was no queue outside and many empty tables available. Used to frequent this place but after today’s experience, probably won’t be back anymore.
Good food, good service, ways clean.
The ramen is nice but you can always get something similar and cheaper elsewhere
Strangely, there wasn’t a queue when I was there and was quickly at sat down. The ramen was delicious.
However the lights were flickering and hurting my eyes.
Best Ippudo in the world even better than the one in Japan. Their new siphon ramen is extremely amazing, the broth (salmon flavor) simply deep and flavorful. The noodle is delicious, chewable and yummy . The siphoning technique of the broth really deepened and accentuated the salmon flavor. They even provide rice to be put on the broth for the closing act. The 3 condiments : fresh shallot, chicken and Japanese bamboo shot complimented the ramen nicely.
As usual the cucumber and gyoza are to die for
Service just ok btw
The BEST ramen I’ve tasted! They have 2 main broths and both are done to perfection with it being thick and authentic though it boders on the salty side. Even their fried rice is cooked with ramen broth, bringing a surprise to the taste buds for such an ingenious cooking method.
Service staff is attentive too. Thanks for the wonderful experience and memory. Will definitely be back for more
Tasty ramen, delicious soup. Yum!
Located at the heart of Orchard, Ippudo Mandarin Gallery located on Level 4, It is poised to be an upscale and modern ramen brasserie experience where diners can enjoy many types of authentic Japanese dishes before tucking into a bowl of hearty ramen. It may be light on the palate, yet full of pork braised goodness. There are too many ramen soups out there that are just salty. I also liked that it has chopped kikurage (wood ear mushroom) and scallions that added bite to the soup.
It has a stylish fusion décor with bowls and utensils of red, white, and black bringing out its signature colours.
Always a delight to come back here for a good ramen place in Singapore ^^ the ramen is awesome, the sparkling soda is marvellous and the service is also very pleasant!
Love it!
So delicious, food is fresh and quality is good! Although pricey but it is definitely worth it.
Service was horrible and a huge disgrace to this wonderful restaurant. Servers were busy chatting at the kitchen counter, oblivious to us waiting to enter the restaurant. It was the chef in the kitchen who alerted them. They were also slow to take order and had a weird reluctance in menu recommendation.
Tango extra hot ramen is still as awesome as always. Just work on changing the servers and adding some music to the ambience.
not bad
Ramen is good, but not the best that I’ve tried in Singapore. Those pork buns won me over though. A bit on the pricey side
Food is excellent. ️
OK ramen – a bit on the salty side and also somewhat pricey based on the size of the ingredients. No complaints about the service.
Place to go for decent ramen
Always come here for Ramen – great food. AC wasn’t working the day we were there but I believe this was a one off.
Perfect place for a decent ramen without breaking the bank. The bonito soup was full of flavor and the noodles done just right. The fried rice was also quite fragrant with enough wok hei. Should’ve ordered the kaedama though, the servings a bit small.
One of the best ramen chain for sure.. not only the ramen taste really good, but other menus like steaks and desserts are delicious too!
simply love their noodles. Impeccable service . Smiley staff.
Great food, great ambience. Good for small & large groups.
Restaurant wasn’t full, but yet service was slow. Took 35 mins for ramen to be served. Kitchen was inundated with delivery orders and dining-in orders seemed to deprioritized. Nonetheless, food is, as always, good.
Staff did not inform of promotion clearly before hand. Can be better trainee
Delicious ramen restaurant, good quality and nice ambience
One of the better ramen joints in Singapore. The lines are fairly long, so be sure to come ahead of time, and visit during the weekdays if possible. Most of the items on the menu are pretty good, so you can’t go really wrong here.
It’s been a while. Quite long while actually. Still good, very good. Simple & no frills. They have added several items since my last visit many years ago.
satisfying bowl of ramen. the broth could have been creamier, otherwise the taste was clean and good
Nice but quite expensive. Not sure about the value.
Amazing food at an amazing price point! Authentic and delicious!
Ramen is expensive for its average standard and not satisfied with the queuing system……
Delicious ramen place with beautiful and relaxing decoration.
Came here with friends on a Sunday evening and it’s not very packed. Price is actually on the affordable end for the setting. Wide selection of menu. Very delicious food and presentation was fabulous
Decent ramen. Prefer the outlet at near UE Square. Is usually quite quiet during off peak hours.
Ramen a bit more on the higher end. Large variety to customize your soup. Queues on the weekend and during lunch/dinner peak hours. Service could be more friendly.
Not quite the same taste and vibes at the Ippudo in Japan. They didn’t have yuzu kosho for our gyoza too, tsk tsk
Really good bowl of ramen. All is good after a bowl.
Good service, good food, just that the queue can be rather turn off, and that seats may be limited. That said, you can always share tables with another family / couple. Also, if you are not big eaters, you can always order just one ramen, and a couple of sides to share and go along with. Can be quite filling thereafter. Good ambience too!
The waiter is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Impressed with his attentiveness. The food “ramen” was average, gyoza wasn’t great, beef tatami was awesome, and to end it up, their range of sake was fantastic.
Amazed with the ramen here and they are delicious. I will come back to try on other ramen next time. Service is promptly and the restaurant is very spacious.
They use QR ordering and serving speed is fast. You can also warm/iced water as they are serving free.
Best ramen and best soup
This place is about ramen and they are artistically composed. The broth is well balanced and rich, the noodles feel freshly made and all ingredients are of quality. The atmosphere feels young and is full of noisy efficiency. You will enjoy it.
Always good for a bite to eat! Friendly staff, the food never disappointed us.
Very good ramen but prepare to queue. We ordered 3 types of ramen, short ribs and salmon, total bill was closed to $100. We chose “Very Hard” ramen texture which works out well as the noodle was thin and very fast gets soft in the soup. Rather pricey but one of the best ramen.
BEST ramen in town! I LIKE!
I missed the taste in Japan and am happy to find this genuine taste back in Singapore
Yes, it’s on the expensive end, but its taste is unbeatable. I have tried cheaper ones, but still miss Ippudo from time to time.
If I have spare money, I will go for their side dishes as well. Love their cucumbers and crispy corn. I thought ramen shops only have gyoza and fried rice. Ippudo gave me surprises each time when it comes to side dishes.
As with all the other venues of this popular chain of Japanese restaurants, the Ramen is to die for – both the spicy and the classic one are a must try!
Ramen are so-so, nothing to shout about but the prices somewhat high for the quality.
Second time visit to the restaurant, like the ramen and service of this place. Will go back again.
Great noodles, great broth. One of my favorite ramen in Singapore.
The ramen is good but do expect long waiting queue for 30mins during peakhours. Worth the try.
The noodles are ordinary and the stock is good however I feel that in the past it was way better. The standard has deteriorated over the years.
I was disappointed with the lotus chips. They came soaked with oil and not crispy. I had to send it back. When the replacement came it was still oil soaked and looked like it was just refried. Obviously no quality control regarding substandard food being sent out to guests.
Ippudo is of course a ramen joint, but it’s also a lot more. The salads here are good, and there are even steak options that you should explore. All really decent and perfect complements to the ramen which will form the foundation of your dining experience here at Ippudo. The broth holds its own flavor-wise and the al dente noodles contribute inviting textural notes to the meal. A good option for dinner, although you should be prepared for lines. Once in, service is zippy and responsive.
food was great! ramen broth was thick and flavorful, noodles had great texture as well. pork and chicken buns were mediocre, but the gyoza and takoyaki were really good.
Casual ambience. Great ramen, as to be expected from this global chain. Big perk: not as crowded as most orchard haunts tend to be. Come freely.
First time trying Ippudo Ramen, although it was slightly late at about 9pm, we still had to queue. Shared a salmon aburi and gyoza which was juicy and delicious. The salmon aburi could be more heated, felt like it had sat on the counter for awhile before being served. The ramen was very rich and tasty, the broth was thick and very flavorful! Worth coming to try.
Best Ramen in Singapore, ’nuff said.
Nice ambient and conveniently located in the heart of the shopping district. Famed for tasty Ramen. Service staff respond fast.
Food was not bad for half price, would not recommend otherwise
Delicious ramen. I like the entire vibe and atmosphere. Nice place to have dinner with friends. Their staffs are friendly and service was fast. Their chicken karage is not that delicious. But their signature ramen was good! Tho price is on the higher side. Recommend people to try at least once
Provide nice ramen and gyoza. Tried black hakata ramen lately and it’s not too salty like some other black ramen. Price is average just like other ramen shop
Great service by the staff. They are all pretty attentive. The food is reasonable too
Very nice and elegant place, ramen is very good
Tasty as always. Good atmosphere and service. Tea is non-refillable but comes in a pot. No water served. Had the seasonal curry tonkatsu, not bad.
Been here a few times, mostly to have their vegetarian ramen, but everything else has also been consistently good, including the new special – soufflé cheesecake. Service is always fast and efficient.
very tasty noodle soup
If you love Ramen, this is the go to plc. Rich broth, noodles done right & freshly cookef pork meat. Washed down with hot ocha. Qik lunch!
awesome ambience but high price point with okay ramen.
Great place to hangout and chill. The decor is nice for a quick date and the food is amazing. Honestly one of the best ramen places i can find in Singapore
Nice ambience. Great food . . Had Karaka Tamago and Bonito Chashu – . Will patronise again. Value for money. …
Great Ramen and the Decor is one of the best in Singapore.
This used to be good but now it’s just another overpriced and unspecial ramen shop. Prices have gone up, portions feel smaller. The lunch set menu is also a bit of a scam…no more 11.90 set meal but instead you pay full price and can top up 3 bucks for a choice of a side dish from a list which includes 5 gyoza or 4 takoyaki balls. It comes with a free glass of green tea which was so dilute that it tasted more like coloured water…and to add insult to injury it was not even refillable. Oh dear me what happened ippudo? They now have 7 outlets. There used to be long queues but now those are ghosts of a bygone era…quite disappointed by the experience. Sigh. The best Ippudo outlet ever – coming from someone who have tried ippudo at every corner of Singapore and in Japan.
Acceptable, very affordable for the location
Went here as a vegetarian and it did not disappoint.
The soup is very clear but filling and flavorful the toppings were fresh and great as well.
18-20 SGD , expensive but fulfilling
Can ask for kaedama (2sgd, noodle refill)
A little on the expensive side, but has delicious ramen
Still one of the best ramen places in Singapore, despite not being as good as Ichiran in Japan.
Descent place for Ramen ! Nice decor and ambiance and also good service.
However slightly gutted that they have discontinued with chicken Ramen and also have very few options in vegan / vegetarian ramen!
The wait for the food to be ready was long. About 40-50 minutes. Food tasted decent but the extra portion of menma did not arrive in time so I cancelled it. However, on the way out I saw the plate of my food waiting on the counter. Clearly there is not enough service staff.
The spicy pork belly mantou and smoked salmon salad was good.
The regular tonkatsu ramen’s broth was nice but the tonkatsu meat was not tender and the tamago’s yolk was overcooked.
The pork belly rice bowl was average: not much flavor and meat was not tender.
Ramen and soup were quite good and delicious. The side dishes like the stuffed chicken wing, gyoza and Asari soup were yummy.
yum
and the drinks so delicious
the decoration is catchy
Lunch set quite worth it that comes w side n drink.
I like the gyoza. Very nicely fried n good pair w the chilli oil.
Ordered the spicy one which taste better than the non one.
Was craving for ichiran n this come to this but I feel that the broth is still lacking and the noodle abit soggy w the medium one. Maybe better w the hard one.
Friendly waitress who would give recommendations for a good ramen experience.
Rated as number 1 ramen restaurant in Singapore by Foursquare app. They have unique ramen like fish and pork flavour which taste good. Spicy gyoza is also another dish you must try.
Food is really good. Love the Lunch Set Meal. Affordable and Yummy.
Nothing to complain about. Always on top of the list when looking for some tasty ramen.
Good service with wonderful ramen. Will definitely come again
Always nice place and very good ramen
Place is sooo good. I forget to take a picture of the ramen because my mouth was watering at the sight of the noodles. The food came out with in 5 minutes of ordering, and it was busy! Friendly staff. Best noodles I’ve had just short of ichiran
Ramen is good. Bonito Soup base is flavorful (not rich/thick as I was hoping for), eggs ain’t really hanjuku type, slightly to hard boil already. Even with “really hard” noodle type, still rather soft, probably cause the noodles are more of the thin kind. Lemon Soda is interesting, goes well with savoury dish (which in this case the soup as it is rather salty). Service is fast and they added in few more local dishes in the menu. Might choose keisuke over this comparing the price
Nice ambience. Decent food
Good food…….. Must go
Anywhere in the world there is an IPPUDO, i make sure I go to it. Such consistent, flavorful ramen.
Pretty good ramen. Go early to avoid queues
One of the best ramen avail in sg
Good ramen and lemon water. Fast service. …
Tasty Ramen. Recommend for a stop during shopping.
My son lovesss this ramen place!
Good ramen, economical
Good noodle but it does not taste the same as Tokyo or New York Ippudo. The noodle is different and the sauce has less taste.
Nice Karaka and Bonito special ramen
Raman taste good and its affordable
