One of the must-seen attractions in Singapore! It’s free, breathtaking and easy to reach. For those of you who arrive in Changi Airport, you can go to Jewel by bus or walk through the link bridge in terminal 3. I recommend to come to rain vortex near its opening hours (around 12 pm) and enjoy the scenery from the 4th floor of Jewel

I arrived from Changi airport terminal 1, then I took the skytrain towards terminal 3. after arriving for a few seconds and got off. continue to follow directions to jewel. You will enter the mall and just follow the directions.

No matter how many times I’ve visited the waterfall I’m still overwhelmed by its beauty. Try to see it from as many angles as you can, it’s totally different every time. I recommend to visit it at 6pm to enjoy its daytime beauty and wait until 8pm to watch the light show. Another light show at 9pm everday and 10pm on Friday and Saturday.
If you transit through Changi airport you need to pass immigration clearance. It’s connected directly to Terminal 1, or walking through the connecting bridge in Terminal 2 and 3.
This is the best way to wait for your flight.

Beautiful waterfall
Located in Jewel which is just outside Changi airport arrivals area. The waterfall is quite interesting to watch and you get very nice views of it along the many levels of Jewel. They projected interesting items onto the falls which made it very interesting to watch. It is very easy to get to so it is worth the visit even after a shortish layover.

Feels like an architect’s mock up, incredible to witness. Located in Jewel and surrounded by a variety of shopping and eating options. Can get a little crowded with everyone taking photos on every level, but understandably. 100% going to view if you have a chance while at Changi airport.

The HSBC rain vortex is located in the Jewel Changi Airport. The rain vortex has a light water music show every day at 8pm, 9pm, and 10pm. You can view it on floors 2, 3, 4, where there are 3 different openings to the vortex on each floor (left end, middle, and right end).
The Jewel mall is actually quite far from the Changi airport itself. You will need to take the train to get to the Jewel. You can easily get lost, I did, so don’t hesitate to ask or confirm directions, to where and which train goes where.
The Jewel mall itself is a an amazing facility. There are so many dining options, from the top floor all the way to the basement. I recommend it is worth checking out the basement level. They have an entire grocery store down there, a food court, a bakery, and many standalone dining options.

Very relaxing and calming space. Plenty of sitting and small areas for everyone to chill and relax. Can be very crowded, do avoid afternoons if you wish to take a good photo. The colour changing lights only turns on during the night time.
Absolutely free . You can catch it at morning or evening time to have a different feel. Do keep a lookout for the light show starting from 7.30pm onwards at hourly interval. Definitely the “Jewel” of Changi Airport
In a pandemic they have it closed. Only those who have a flight through that terminal can access. It is very sad

Awe-inspiring view at the heart of Jewel Changi Airport. HSBC Rain Vortex is the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. The display of water cascading at a whopping 7-storeys down was a captivating experience. There’s a lot to do here so it’s a must visit before you go anywhere else. It’s just one airport train/bus ride away. Wheelchair friendly area. You can borrow one for a fee at the reception.

NOTE: you cannot access the Jewel once you’ve gone through security / into the terminal AND they won’t let you leave the terminal within 4 hours of your flight. So, make sure to visit the Jewel BEFORE going through security.

It is definitely one of the places which never fails to amuse you, doesn’t matter how many times you visit it. It’s one of the architectural marvels in Singapore and a must visit place, except on public holidays and weekends (to avoid huge crowd). It kind of creates calmness due to the sound of the waterfall.
The design of the space is mesmerizing at night and tranquil in the day. The lush greenery created a welcoming space away from the more commercialized retail spaces surrounding it. Great place to momentarily escape the hustle and bustle, for locals as well as travelers.
Stunning view and truly world-class remarkable landmark in Singapore. Located in Terminal 1. Must to visit once you land to Singapore. Around it there are an indoor jungle and restaurants, surrounded by shops inside the mall area.

It’s quite a sight, especially if you’re here for the first time. Having been to Jewel a couple of times now, I’ve honestly never sat this close to the rain vortex to observe the infrastructure. It gets really pretty at night, and they have light shows at specific times, which you should try to catch if you have the time.
Makes for a great family outing kind of place, especially if you string up a few things in Jewel, all together.
