There is a nice showroom of 2, 3, 4, 5 room flats. Good place to get some inspiration for renovation.
Open till 5pm on Monday to Friday and the timing is pretty fixed so do come on time.
Expect to spend about 45mins here.
thankful for the outstanding service we received. special shout out to the two male staff on the ground who were good natured, friendly and approachable when we were there on thursday, as well as the female staff at the first counter in the room that’s all the way at the end who processed our application in a prompt and efficient manner (i can’t remember her name, sorry). all in all it was a wonderful experience for our first time at HDB hub.
Toa Payoh HDB Hub houses the HDB offices as well as some clothing stores and eateries. There are two foodcourts connected to the HDB Hub as well as a number of fastfood outlets. The HDB Hub is also linked to the bus interchange and MRT.
Within walking distance to toa payoh station. Went there for a look of our hdb flat. Great! Very clean with aircon. Staff were cheerful helpful and friendly. Model have intricate and complex carvings. Took many pictures. Toa payoh park was nearby, great for a walk or a breath of fresh air.
Old and retro place to shop dine and eat
Clean and quiet residential area
Great Ambient thumb up
Same as other mall
A lot of stuff here with great food and shopping area.
Spacious and dispersed shops
The first integrated, air-conditioned bus interchange with mrt and mall in Singapore. Main office of Housing Development Board is here too.
Excellent experience visiting this as a foreigner. It amazes me how Singapore can offer affordable housing of livable size to locals despite being so densely populated and busy. Houses of similar size in HK would be many times pricier I’m sure.
Had a great time learning and looking at all of the showrooms.
Good customer service ! Amazing follow up!
I go here mainly for the Rojak. It is very awesome.
Nice people, nice design, full of amenities
Lots of shops and food outlets.
Fairly good choice of shops, 2 food courts, no major shopping mall.
Good
Nice quiet place to see all the mini buildings upcoming!
Nice big complex with many shops around
It’s very centrally located, reasonably priced car parking, loads of eateries, lots of human traffic.
Convenience as it is link to MRT station and Toa Payoh Mall
The officer Hazrina was very patient with me. 2 thumbs up …
Okay. Not crowded.
Food court price was reasonable
No public toilet at ground floor ,not even in the bus interchange. You have to take lift go to second floor.
Easily accessible via train and bus.
Big open area with lots of seats and waiting areas.
The staff are really nice
On appointment basis only, they are not supporting walk-ins like before given COVID, take note
Everything is fast and efficient as expected.
Lots of great food, supermart, value$ and more.
It’s where locals come to buy/sell/register their public housing
HDB hub where you can get some latest idea for your home renovation
A lot of local stall surrounding
One stop building to handle most hdb matters. Lots of F&B restaurants here as well.
Lots of food to dine here
The first integrated bus hub with a good selection of shops targeting the local community.
Good place for lunch
Lots of food, fashion shopping available.
Conveniently located on top of Toa Payoh MRT station. Easy to find and comfortable seating.
Apart from offices, food court, shops, also lots of HDB shops in the vicinity. Linked to MRT, bus interchange.
Has an NTUC within and one a stone throw away.
Lot of shops and resting place around this area. Dun miss out.
Cannot give less than 5 star until we can afford condo or landed.
A place where roof is provided to all Singaporean and Permanent residence. In HDB building here people who purchase or sell their HDB unit will meet up and transacted. The amenities within this building and surrounding is interesting. The service provided by HDB staff is top notch. Recommended to visit even if you are not buying or selling HDB unit
Place so complicated…blocking and surrounding to all shopping mall…interchange n hdb flats.
Very spacious space from interchange to the HDB hub. Move around with ease but the cool and warm zone when you move around certain area. MRT trains noise can be heard and feel in level 1 but for commuters moving around should be fine.
biz 520 toilet is the worst I’ve seen for a hdb shopping mall. level 1 male toilet each sitting cubicle has something missing (the only thing that isnt missing is the toilet bowl).
hopefully the toilet can be renovated
One stop for your public housing needs. Sparkling clean.
Apply for anything or enquiry bout HDB…
This is a great one stop place for anyone wanting to see models of new HDB housing developments in Singapore. Service requires some waiting time, especially on Saturdays and peak periods of HDB launches. Otherwise, it’s fairly quiet. Other local property businesses are nearby, so there’s convenience if you need to shop around to compare with private properties. Ample parking at several basement levels, but do note the lift lobby you’re taking. Can be confusing if you forget which lobby you parked nearest to!
The lift lobbies are pretty confusing, it will be faster to just ask for direction from security
Lousy carpark arrangement insufficient signs to direct folks to various locations in the establishment.
A place where all Singaporean will come, come here means to buy or sell house. For me, I’m here to buy house …
Pre booking b4 u come still in place
Nice environment and just next to tpy mrt
Got scolded by security for asking directions
Due to covid, not as crowded as before..
Great experience at HDB.
Everything you want is here nice place
Favourite place to get lei cha and rojak.
Strategically located near MRT and a mall
Essentially a place where people buy their public housing or hdb commercial properties. Restaurants littered the perimeter. Convinient place to go as other amenities include bus interchange mrt and nostalgic neighbourhood center is all around HDB hub
Was last here many years back. It’s still very much a bustling location. Now it has many more food outlets in the area.
Many related businesses on one location. Extremely convenient. Best of all, many food stalls are here too.
You can find most things you need there.
Food couts, shopping, cellphone accessories shop, hdb main office
Just the bus came lately.
A bit better than your basic hub hub, this place has at least five hawker food clusters outside and one buried in basement of one of the office blocks. No super impressive food anywhere however.
Visit for your housing needs
Alot of variety of food here, plus always crowded by useless event
Good food
Just an office tower block with a specific function
Staff is polite and helpful
Good service
Integrated facility with a bus depot at the basement. Huge carpark so you can be assured of finding a lot for your car. This is the HQ of the HDB.
Can be very crowded during the weekends
Toa Payoh Hub is a place u can find some nice food as well, also Tiong Bahru Pau
Buy HDB flats here!! 😛
Hdb hub is located in toa payoh central. It serves the residents here as a place to buy food and groceries as well as some shopping.
It is also the place where Singaporeans come here for housing matters. For this reason, there are many real estate offices located here as well for convenience.
Good service of maybank Singapore
Nice place with good shops!
Find out about your housing needs.
First time visiting after so many years. Service was excellent from the time u step in till u leave. Everything was explained in details.
There’s everything you need in HDB HUB, 2 food courts, tiny shops, bakeries, and food/ clothing stalls. Very convenient.
The place had changed a lot. There are plenty of restrictions just to speak to an officer of HDB. Security block all access to the HDB site. Only one place for members of public to access. The rest of the doors are locked. The other entrance is only for staff. Everything is restricted.
The shops and restaurants just outside the HDB office are open and with lots of crowd during lunchtime.
Gourmet paradise (access basement food court) on the side of McDonalds has the famous rojak which the queue never ends, and also black/white sesame muah Chee, as well as red treasures noodles which are nice (if you overlook the aunty who likes to push you to add more meat etc) and Korean stall which has good meat/mackerel overall. And a soup stall with the tradditional Chinese soups. A good place to have a meal.
Large travel-dining-shopping hub with a variety of stalls for all (workers, travellers, students, retirees). I like the food court in B1.
W.E.F 16th Dec 2021, Thursday 00:00hr.
HDB loan reduced from Max 90% to 85%.
Do you know what has to change in order to be less affected?
What are your options now?

If Google meant to ask me to review the HDB Hub, it’s a nice enclave to serve the resident needs by also housing multiple eateries and the bus interchange in a cooling environment, besides housing the HDB agency itself.
If Google meant to ask me to review HDB itself, my experience is that the sale/resale office was polite, fast, and provided great advice on navigating the policies when we bought our first flat.
If it’s about HDB’s policy, then sadly I must say that while no policy can satisfy everybody, we were sandwiched such that we couldn’t climb higher without incurring great penalty, nor enjoy the subsidies of a lower bracket. So I’ll dock a star for that.
It’s a HDB HUB in Toa Payaoh. It has a shopping center with many food courts and HDB offices.
Best rojak at basement food court, yummy salmon fish head soup on 2nd floor food court. BBQ pork at the coffee shops nearby. Fruit stalls around the area. Never go hungry when you are here.
Better to call their helpline to check first. Currently only allow people with booking to enter
Well managed and controlled. Clean and quiet. Like a library …
People come here buy house lo
Good implementation of social distancing rules. Feels a lot more spacious than what it used to be.
Came here do complete HDB sales with my client. HDB officers are very accommodating when there are genuine challenges. My seller had medical appointments that she cannot move and buyer had vaccination scheduled that she must keep in order to board a flight the next day. We managed to change to appointment a few times to accommodate everyone. Thumbs up HDB!
lots of information to read and it has a big SG map, plus other housing models. good to see what’s in plan for some constituencies. we went during weekends so it’s minus the weekday crowds, making it a leisurely visit.
Located in the heart of Toa Payoh, this unique mall is actually a collection of ground floor shops that are connected.
HOUSING DEVELOPMENT BOARD, office for public housing in Singapore
Where my home used to be cheap and good
Dim sum buffet nearby
Spacious place to eat & shop for most non luxury needs. there is a library for those who likes to read too
Where locals actually go and buy stuff
A place everyone Singaporean has to go. Well planned and efficient…
A very convenient place to purchase groceries, and run simple errands. The Toa Payoh MRT and bus interchange are all connected with shelters, giving access to NTUC, food courts, post office, bank branches (UOB, OCBC, DBS, POSB), McDonalds, MOS burger, Yakun kaya and toast, and many many more. Not much for clothes and bags shopping, but definitely a good place to stop by for food and some daily errands.
Well organised department with dedicated staff …
The place to come for purchase of build to order flats or resales flat. About 80% of the population stay in HDB flats.
Very good
+
First indoor bus interchange in Singapore.
Very central and full of buses, to everywhere!
Minute walk to the MRT station.
Tons of eateries and food courts.
–
Not much shopping to be done.
2017.08.13: Walked into CPF event and had an interesting afternoon of crafts and games …
“My primary preoccupation was to give every citizen a stake in the country and its future. i wanted a home-owning society.” (quote by LKY)
Waiting very long wait for houes very long
Be it BTO, resale or just looking, HDB Hub is the one stop center for all your HDB needs (private properties not included). There is ample waiting place and officers to help you.
You can also view show flats just like IKEA and upcoming projects! Very comfortable environment with lots of indoor greenery. A lot of food nearby too and just above Toa Payoh MRT.
My favourite beef noodle
Yes a cosy n well organized office.
My first times getting a hdbs flat the service is excellent thank you
Great place with a variety of restaurants and shops.
Very well organise
Very systematic customer service experience
Nice place to have a meet with your customer
Lots of eateries here. However, not much changes
Trying to be very strict going in. Many measurements in place. Big n huge with lot of empty space… Really making lotto $$ out of the people to have such a big n beautiful building … Easy access thou, just right above of toa payoh MRT station n central… …
I like the place as people apply and get their flats here. The feeling of getting new or resell flats is great. People get bigger flats or newer flats as they upgrade living conditions.
Good ! Would be better if it was a mall like AngMoKio Hub
Long and slow Q is norm, @_a@
Due covid 19 some of the counter closed.
Need to it online
With many eateries and services connected to the bus interchange and MRT station, this is an exciting and bustling hub for all.
Linked to Toa Payoh MRT, a place where most Singaporean has to visit at least once a life time. Many F&B, retail shops and many banks found here. One of the highest traffic location outside CBD.
Happy seller with me at hdb completion day!
Very good place to buy a house
Busy place filled with many different small shops and F&B outlets.
Today I came to Toa Payoh HDB hub to take some photo of festive atmosphere at one of the oldest estates. Over the years, buildings have changed and upgrading have rejuvenated the lively estate. With the MRT located in the basement and the air-conditioned bus interchange on the first level, travel and infrastructure is a breeze. The atrium next to the bus interchange, facing the NTUC Fairprice, is a commercial hub. Usually during weekends, stalls set up their items for sale.
Went for appointment with HDB. Arrived earlier than expected. So we had breakfast at Burger King… Food was not great at all…Surprised… dried burger… …
A government building with offices and services dedicated to government housing.
great shopping and food (NTUC)
Located HDB hub. Many decent local delights
This Place Have Nice Facilities, Friendly Staff And Is Beautiful.
This Is Where I Went To Buy My New Home, It Is Very Nice And Near Toa Payoh MRT And Velocity, Novena.
The Staff Here Are Friendly.
If You Planned To Buy A New HDB Flat, I Strongly Recommend Coming Here.
However, I Can’t Give It A 5 Stars Because The Waiting Time For The Keys To The New HDB Flat Is About 4-6 Months For Me And When We First Moved In, It Is Not Renovated Yet So We Had To Stay At Our New Home While Our Home Is Being Renovated.
But It Is Worth It Because Our Home Now Is Very Peaceful And Beautful, That Is Why I Recommend Going Here To Buy Your New Home .
Friendly Officer ! I am unable to make E-
Appointment. Officer is able to answer my questions at the Front at 8am. Thanks …
Very not crowded
play Pokemon ffee AC VERY good . NOT many Happy places.
Not of what it used to be anymore!
For a big hub processing all our public housing matters… i’m sure HDB can affording upgrading the toilets in their building. poorly maintained, not exactly clean or pleasant smelling…. no soap in the dispenser and the taps are the old press down type that is obviously past it’s lifespan. was very grossed out bringing my kid to use the toilet.
Lot of food stall and shopping
Nice and comfortable gallery and waiting area to get the official business done to get your HDB flat.
Many eateries. Ample parking.
Where you deal with housing matters
This place has the best Chinese rojak in Singapore. @basement 2 after body shop.
I expect full construction of flats by this December
Convenient location with a lot of amenities, tend to be crowded though
A great place with multiple amenities at walking distance. With MRT and bus interchange integrated, getting here is easy.
HDB hub is where you spectate future developments of public housing and also apply for one.
Multiple eateries and cafes offering food and drinks at a reasonable price.
Good setting for buying HDB flat
Gd service. Fast and efficient
With the lesser crowds, queues are much shorter and smoother. Plenty of empty parking lots too.
One stop fits all place where all the amenities suit the busy urbanite
Try out the food court at B2. Very affordable and yummy food.
This is the place to settle public housing matters.
Look at Singapore’s Public Housing.
Integrated neighbourhood mall with bus interchange and train station. Sheltered with underground access parts of toa payoh. If you are going buy a HDB this is the place you must visit.
This place is for those trying to get a house from the government housing arrangements for all citizens n PR, nice location surrounded by many shops like hardware, clothings, watches, phones, etc, n food courts, thanks
The Food Court at B1 provides many kinds of cooked food. Prices normal. Food delicious.
Due to COVID-19, everything is appointment based. My payment appointment was on the weekday and the waiting point was short (5 minutes). The whole signing of lease took only 15 minutes. It was that quick and easy.
With the appointment system, getting my business done there is so fast and easy.
I was informed to report 15 minutes before time and I was early. I was not allowed in until the stipulated timing. Once in and gotten a queue number, I was called on time. Precisely the appointment time!
Although HDB aims to finish my business in 30 minutes, the professionalism of the executive took me less than that
In general, the appointment system cuts waiting time a lot.
I frequent Toa Payoh 4-5 times a week. It’s like my second “home” now. LOL. I happened to see their Christmas décor for this year. Not sure if you’d agree with me, it’s much better than our Disney Wonderland décor on Orchard Road. At least they have Santa Claus.
Anyway, Toa Payoh has all you need in a neighbourhood – Sports stadium, HDB office, NTUC, DBS, POSB, OCBC banks, Courts, Cash Converter, Popular Bookstore, exhibitions all year round, bakeries, Guardian, Watsons, Unity, your fast food restaurant, and best of all, A LOT OF coffee shops and hawker centres that you can try food to your heart’s delight!
The only thing they don’t have is cinema, which is ok because you can go to GV Bishan, or head down to Orchard for theatres at Shaw, Cathay etc.
A place for people to collect the keys to their new home
Ntuc well organized
Clean tidy
Cashier fast movement
Sales person helpful
Busy with people
Delicious fish head soup.
The Housing Development Board, or HDB, is the government agency managing Singapore’s public housing. It is thus out of necessity for majority of Singaporeans to visit the Toa Payoh HDB Hub rather than us loving it. It of course depends entirely on the reasons for us being there too – elation if it’s to get a new home, despair if it’s to lose one.
While its main business is for housing transactions, the Toa Payoh HDB Hub also has numerous housing models and photo exhibits on display for viewing of past and upcoming developments. Visit here to see Singapore’s award-winning public housing, as well as to experience the locals’ way of life with a sneak peek into our homes.
Typical local shops selling daily necessities surround the Toa Payoh HDB Hub. For food, look no further than Fu Xiang Chicken Rice at block 186.
Resale appointment for the 2nd time. I always love the architecture of this building, so comfy, but due to Covid, fewer people
Every body need it
Very crowded and overwhelmed
They should increase efficiency AND counter quantity.
Very friendly and good service by the officer who helped in answering and guiding my way since its my first time in the building. Also very thankful for Ms. Casin Lim for a very detailed explanation on the process of purchasing and for her sincere service. It was a great experience !
Was attended by Grace. She is super efficient and patient.
Things got done smoothly and carefully.
Yes, she is young and pretty but no she is not a flower vase.
Thank you Grace for your efficiency.
Good location well connected to public transport. Accessible facilities for wheelchair users. Wayfinding is easier at the central node with directional signs. Variety of food establishments eg. Kopitiam and services makes it convenient as a place for getting housing admin sorted as well as stopovers. Public toilets in the central public zone can be crowded especially during mealtimes, for wheelchair users, accessible toilets in the office blocks of HDB Hub will be a better option. Overall, well recommended.
Very orderly, officer was really detailed and patient during our flat selection. As a first time buyer with my girlfriend it was very assuring.
Very good mall in central Singapore. This is where you visit to process your documents when you apply for public housing, but there are also many housing related firms here (law / agents / administrative / etc.).
The shopping space is also very comprehensive and has most of what you will need. Parking is convenient, and the bus interchange services a wide network of SBS buses.
No e appointment, no admittance. Refer website for more info. Or else risk wasting your time.
Love this place. Everything is here – banks, post office, shopping, grocery shopping, books, library…
Car park exit confusing
Regular shopping mall but nothing much to do here
Last Saturday at Toa payoh HDB Hub, an event to celebrate Public Transport Workers Appreciation week 2022.
Thank you so much to the public transport workers for their good work, caring in commuting the community of people to different parts of Singapore.
Slightly dull interior, but very good dining options and convenient MRT nearby, although very crowded at meal times
It located in the central. Goods are with reasonable price.
Nice “Thunder Tea Rice” at interchange basement food court. Highly recommended. Healthy meal. Love it.
Toa Payoh centre, good food and a bit of shopping, two NTUC super market and a Giant supermarket,…
First time home buyer and the whole process was super smooth and easy! Kudos to the HDB team!
Agents galore. Many people come in very casual coffee shop attire to buy flats
Place at T.P.Y CENTRAL, nice for out and indoor shopping and dining.
Go there for HDB about new hm, but the service a bit disappointed. 5 year ago my HDB loan was approved after now they say system not updated.
And more funny is no 6 month advance for selling my old house. And ask for 300k+ immediately payment, I was thinking if I have the $$$$ why I want apply for HDB lol. The staff want us signed a letter form, the question is why I want to take HDB loan application. Hahaha
Transport hub with bus interchange and mrt station
Due to Covid-19, the number of visitors have been limited to 4 persons a group.
The place is big and without ushers, can get messy and disorganized.
Appointment letter says at L2, but when collected queue ticket, it says L1. A bit hassle, but still manageable. The process from seeing officer to completion is quite smooth and able to explain in simple terms.
Making lives better everywhere
A place where all Singapore public housing transactions are conducted. Service standards are getting better. Many beautiful new HDB flats are introduce yearly.
Many amenities under one roof here. This probably is as close as it gets to a shopping mall in Toa Payoh central
You should go to see the show flat.
Convenient with Bus Terminal and MRT station.
Convenient. Supermarket, banks, food outlets, cafes, fast food and lots of other shops
Dear HDB… I would like to highlight to you with regards to owner that rented out their units or rooms to foreigners. I am very sure the amount of rented units and rooms are countless. But that is not the problem. The problems are…. whether these foreigners know our regulations, laws and culture. Noises is the common issue now especially in the middle of the night with sounds like doing hard labour job with banging items on the floor. When we complain to HDB, they came and confronted the top unit neighbour and things got worse. Now the unit upstairs knock vigorously between 6.30 am to 8.30 am loudly every alternate days. What can you do to solve this issue of neighbours that create nuisances? We have stressful day at work and we don’t need stress at home. The way your workers approach is another issue that I noticed will make things worse! The HDB officer did mentioned the unit is being rented out by owner. I am staying at Ubi and I bet many other areas are facing with unreasonable noise issues. So please help …
I had the pleasure recently to work with Mr Tan Puay Yock, Senior Estate Executive, Housing Services Central. Due to the complexity of my case (or my un-familiarity), he actually went way out of his way to help and guide us through the process. He must have done this with other owners a thousand times, but he still took the time to explain and repeat the steps, if he felt that an email could not explain it properly he would call me to follow up. Workwise i run a meeting venue, and offering great service is what we strive to do everyday, honestly if i can get my team to perform like Mr Tan 20 years into the job we would be an incredible success.
No chairs with back support… it’s hurting my back while waiting for my number
Bought a flat for the first time and the process was quite efficient
HDB HQ. The place to go to get buy and sell HDBs.
Was here just to chill after eating and find toilet. Toilet was really hard to find lol
Handy for the mrt and bus station
Everything get it there and many food courts,so many variety foods
Good shopping area and many good food there.
Can still improve.. Especially the seating place for food at the interchange
Alot of foods around this area. The foodcourt in the basement has a number of robots that colect trays from patron. Interesting…
Long wait.. #11-157 (2025).. hope it bring harmony, happiness n love
If you never come here in your life, you are either very rich or very poor.
It’s Saturday late afternoon and they are closed. The eateries are opened but the crowd is unlike other Saturdays pre-Covid. Even the NTUC & Value Shop does not have the crowd meaning people are still cautious. Perhaps its better to stay home since the infection numbers are rising.
Well linked locale for shopping, eating, working.
just normal shops…. that you can find everywhere and the shops at estates houses far more cheaper if you buy same item..
The only time that HDB is quiet was 2 years ago. Those Near-by shops were affected and obviously now that things are less stringent, this place is just like before the grave period. Hopefully all who visit HDB, HDB Hub premises be mindful of the pandemic still hovering and be conscious of hygiene and protecting oneself is also protecting the others. Lets care for one another. Properly masked Stay safe! Cheerio!!!!
Very clean and spacious but there has been long queue standing outside POSB.
Very orderly and very smooth flow.
Because of recent covid cases in the community very stric entry
often hold events and get freebies
Much better thsn years ago…
Improved alot ny leaps and bounds. Great !!
Ok very clean and buzy place
One stop centre for all Singapore Properties matters.
My husband and I collected the keys for our BTO flat on 30 Oct 2020 and was attended to by Mazlinda. She was very patient in going through the process with us. Katherine who was based at the BSC office at my BTO also provided great assistance during the defects rectification process.
Personally we tried 7 times over 2 years before we successfully ballot for a BTO flat as a first timer. Waiting time for my flat was close to 4 years upon unit selection. I hope the chances of first timer couples can be improved.
Come here sign off
HDB is a remarkable landmark. Friendly and approachable staff.
Nice building and the surroundings is clean
Not crowded at all
Great place to get knowledge bout housing in SG
I thought it was a housing area
Last Saturday at Toa payoh HDB Hub, an event to celebrate Public Transport Workers Appreciation week 2022.
Thank you so much to the public transport workers for their good work, caring in commuting the community of people to different parts of Singapore.
Always crowded and food is very very expensive. No access to toilet in this place at night so make sure you aren’t urgent to go toilet.
Before ROM, good to come here to confirm first.
Fantastic service.
A lot of amenities and eateries around
Nice neighbourhood and malls.
Its always an awesome experience; submitting commission cheques to these beautiful and jovial ladies in ERA Office …
