Greeneries covered Well Maintained park in Hougang area. One of My favorite park. Its fully surrounded with Mango tree’s. Center of this park have a playground including Badminton court and Basketball court. As well its has a 400m jogging track. Very peaceful and smoke free park. Busy Timing : 6AM – 9AM, 6PM – 9PM.

Some of the larger trees are labeled by NParks, and actually have different neon spotlight (pink, yellow, green, etc.) shining on it from 7pm-7am giving it a rather special ambience.
There are seats around the park, so you may rest while exercising.
There is also a basketball court next to the park.
There is also a playground with slides, suitable for kids below 7, best with adult supervision.

The neighborhood park now has a newly built basketball court and a multipurpose court, among other things like better walking path and sheltered walkway. It definitely looks better. But I am not sure if I really like the new park or the original grass patch better. Don’t get me wrong – The new park is all nice and new, but it just doesn’t have that old familiar feeling of an open, uncluttered field whose existence needs not be justified by a purpose.

At first there wasnt any hougang neighbourhood park, it was just a multi purpose hall and a playground and maybe a fitness corner and thats it. But after a few years down the line, they renovated the park and now its a basketball court, and theres pavements for people to jog and shelters connecting to nearby hdb which is good as no longer need to always bring an umbrella. The space withkut the hall does feel its bigger and wider and usually kindergartens nearby would bring the kids for a walk around in the morning.

Park for exercise, ball games, jogging and walking. 3 coffee shops, supermarket, hair saloon, bicycle shop.
