Room was very small. Table was hardly enough for laptop so I couldn’t work. But service was good, they provided umbrella to my partner when it was raining.

Location is good, walking distance of City Hall/Raffles Place/Clarke Quay, also short travel to Chinatown as well.

P.S. WiFi sucks as well, I had to use my mobile data to work.

We booked the hotel on recommendation and it really is a good hotel with appealing furnishings. Only the construction site nearby, although we lived on the 30th floor, made quite a bit of noise. Unfortunately, the windows don’t keep everything out.

From my experience, this hotel is amazing.

Rooms: its so clean, comfortable, and provide all the things that you need!

Service: the cleaning staff are polite, the admin is polite and can help you ASAP

Location: its near hong lim food centre, not so far from people parks food centre, and etc. If you want to eat some cheap food this is the place where you must stay!

With easy access to bus and MRT i can go whenever i want with ease!

    Price: its cheap!

    Very recommended!

Very slow internet, we stayed for 5 days and our experience for comfort did not meet our expectation because the room was too small and we can hear noise from the outside. We will not recommend this hotel.

Quaint little boutique hotel with artsy themes in a very good location. Walking distance to chinatown, clarke quay and Singapore’s CBD.

Did not like the price considering the room i stayed in was very small by Asian standards. This might not be a problem for some as they would spent a bulk of their time exploring Singapore on foot which is what this hotel offers, location location location

I would highly recommend walking over to jumbo seafood (for crabs) and song fa for ba kut teh (pork rib soup)

I really enjoyed my recent stay at this hotel. The location is great and the room was as promised, small but clean and comfortable. Everyone at the hotel was helpful and friendly. What I want to mention in particular are the especially helpful attitude and actions of Jonathan, who was managing the front desk part of the time I was there. I ran into an unexpected problem in Singapore, nothing too serious but just the sort of thing that can spoil a holiday. Jonathan went out of his way to help me to solve my problem, even staying after work to help, giving advice, and generally going far beyond the call of duty; and all done with great consideration and kindness. It was my good fortune that he was around when I had a problem to solve! Thank you very much, Jonathan. I really appreciate your kindness.

    1. The Aircon is faulty. Making loud noises early in the morning. Me and my partner didn’t have a good sleep.
    2. We had call to informed the issue no solution was given.
    3. No one even even bother to come to rectify the issue.
    4. No service recovery.
    5. After we called for third time mentioning about service recovery they stop picking up call.
    6. We have called about 8 times no one even attend to the our call.
    7. They mention about 8am there will be someone to check but didn’t.
    8. They say they will get back to us but nothing is done.
    9. No one at the counter to assist.

    Please don’t consider this hotel.

Great location near the metro & bus stop, clean facilities. But as everyone has said rooms are very small without any window, it felt like I was living in someone’s closet. There isn’t much room to roam around or put your stuff. We were able to use the pool in their sister property next door. We stayed bc of the location to everything you would want to do in Singapore.

Cancellation of my reservation by the hotel following the closure of the Hotel clover 5 hongkong street. Following my request for information, I am told that my reservation has been transferred to the Art Clover hotel, which I accept. Except that finally my reservation is refunded, I have contact to prevent them. Except that their answer was to see it directly with agoda with whom I had booked or to make a new reservation, except that over time the prices have changed. So I chose to fall back on another hotel which will be more serious I hope.

This was a great hotel in the heart of Chinatown. It is close to the marina district and metro station. It’s compact rooms are clean and efficient for a solo traveler with comfortable beds. I paid for the breakfast option and this was very convenient since not many food options around the hotel. Great for a short stay in Singapore and really you will be spending most of your time seeing the city not in your hotel room.

The location is probably the best thing about the hotel. The price for the hotel was very good. There is a safety deposit box within the room for all your valuables. We were impressed by the breakfast. Drinks were reasonably priced for a hotel. The selection of drinks was good. The amenities are the best part.

Degeulasse, humid, cramped and expensive for nothing
You can barely move around the room, you take a shower everything is flooded and the smell of humidity is constant
“Art” of nothing at all the paint everywhere it is to hide the damage done by the humidity, you will feel it as soon as you arrive in the hallway to that we add that it is room
I did not expect this in Singapore!

The inside of the hotel was beautiful, and the people at the reception were friendly and helpful.
The room was certainly small, but there were amenity goods, and the refrigerator had two bottles of water, Coke, and Sprite cans, and they replenished them when they ran out.
In terms of location, if you walk for 20 to 30 minutes, you can go to various sightseeing spots.
There were food stalls nearby, so I didn’t have any trouble finding food!

All facilities are very good here except there is no water hose available in toilets. It was too strange to find the same situation even in General Public toilets situated in shopping malls other than the hotel. The hotel management should consider to facilitate all sort of guests worldwide for this factor (not only those flying from China). Overall, I would give 7 out of 10 marks keeping in view the splendid behavior of the staff.

Terrible experience! Posting because I want others to not arrive and have nowhere to stay! Clover hotel overbooked and did not have a room for me to stay. I booked on, arrived at the hotel to find a sign that no one was in reception – walked to their other hotel to find no one in reception. 2 hours later that reception tells me they have no room for me and puts me in a taxi to their third hotel where I waited there for 40 min until I finally asked that reception what was happening…. Again they had no room. It was a mess – I finally used their phone to find a last minute hotel 30 min away closer to airport. Be careful!

Right in the center. Great. Even a room without windows is fine. You just need to set an alarm clock. He doesn’t want to get up in the dark. The room is small, but not so that the suitcase has to be unpacked on the bed. I reduce the star for the room because of the flies in the toilet and shower. Staff replenished body lotion and toilet paper after notification.

Great small hotel for short stays in Singapore. Centrally located and convenient for getting most places. I’ve stayed here twice this year, once for 3 nights in January and more recently for 6 nights earlier this month. Amusingly I was given the same room both times (probably could have got a room switch if I’d asked, but it would have been an extra touch if they had noticed my previous stay and given me a different room – the art is different in each room). I did find that for 6 nights the room was a little small, especially since I had more luggage than last time. However bed was very comfortable and room was very clean. Breakfast was basic western style with a selection of hot food (eggs, sausage, hash browns etc.), was handy to have but I only ate it a couple of times as I wanted to explore the great food available in Singapore!

The hotel is pretty conveniently located. Transportation was offered to areas of interest. The best feature is the convenience. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning. All areas of the hotel are very clean. There was plenty of hot water all the time. Taxis can easily be found outside the hotel.

Very disappointed with the quality of service. I treated myself to a stay in a hotel that I would have thought comfortable for resting. Except the person before us had smoked in the room, without a window, it was impossible to ventilate and in the middle of the weekend, all the other rooms were occupied. I mentioned it to the reception who replied “all the rooms are occupied”. Only the housekeeper was kind enough to offer me to clean the area with a machine. It helped but it wasn’t enough. I left Singapore very tired from my stay because it was impossible to go to bed easily with the smells and the inflamed throat. I don’t understand how the staff can let guests stay in a room with these conditions. Too bad because clean and relatively comfortable room, despite the lack of window and very good location. This stay could have been perfect. I highly recommend getting a room with a window if you can afford to avoid this kind of problem with this establishment.

Good, albeit small, clean hotel at a convenient location with great food options nearby. Our room did not have a window (we were not bothered by it though) so be sure to look for rooms with windows before booking.

    Few notes:
    – you may hear talking from the hallway, but the room is pretty sound proof
    – our room has a full sized bed, and there wasn’t enough space for both of us to walk sometimes, but it’s bearable if all you need is a place to sleep at the end of the day
    + Drinks are complementary
+ Room comes with a smart phone that has unlimited 4g connectivity (although no mobile hotspot support) and provides a lot of deals to tourist attractions. You are able to take it around with you. Obviously if lost or damaged there is a fine.

Great hotel. The rooms are on the small side, It’s Singapore. But, I love the artsitic themes, each room has custom decor. I stayed in a single studio with a window. There’s a separate shower and toilet; not always the case in Singapore hotels. It’s also idealy located; close to both Chinatown and Clark Quay MRT, and two bus stops Boat Quay which opposite the hotel and Clark Quay which is a 5 minute walk. Also has a viewing deck on the roof, with a great nighttime view of the skyline.

When I finally got to my room, the bed cover for the duvet was stain yellow. After 6 hours waiting for my room because I arrived early. Was rather frustrating, hardly a apologetic. Room was tight and no windows so felt weird when waking up not seeing lights but I knew this when booking. Shower head blocked on some parts, simple things like that make a big difference in quality of life. If you stay here you are close to all the musem and china town. Would I stay again. This review is not easy at all: size of the rooms 0 stars, cleanliness of the room 5 stars, magnificent location, staff 0 stars, breakfast 0 stars. It really is a hotel with very small rooms, we have also been in Tokyo with small rooms but this one is really “useless”. If you go in two forget to open your suitcases it is practically impossible! I would not recommend to stay in that hotel. It is dirty and noisy. The hotel really need renovation. Walls are dirty with mould! My first room was just next to some cabinets with electricity so couldn’t sleep whole night. I got my room changed and another problems popped up. There are no one in the reception, every time you need to call and wait. Cleaning service extremely bad, they didn’t even empty my full trash bin! Location is amazing but for longer stay, it is too tiring!

Because I stayed for 9 consecutive days, the room was small because I had a lot of luggage. However, if we didn’t have much luggage, the bed was big enough for two people to sleep in, and it was a 5-minute walk to the subway Clarke Quay. Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Flyer) can be reached by changing trains once, and Chinatown was really excellent access, about 10 minutes on foot from the hotel and going straight. The front desk is open 24 hours a day and the staff was really friendly. The departure was early in the morning and the taxi driver and I had to pack a lot of heavy luggage. Thank you very much for your tall, slender and black brother.

I really enjoyed my stay at Clover the Arts. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The size of my single room with no window was fine and as advertised and the bed was extremely comfortable. Having no window enabled me to sleep well as it was dark and quiet.

The only reason I did not give a 5 in my review is:

The paint work was grubby and marked in my room (301) and the room really needed a good repaint.

There appeared to be mould on the wall where the shower door opened and this felt very unhygienic. And

There was literally nowhere to put my clothes and there were only two clothes hangers in the hanging space.

There is space between the bed and the right side wall to place a narrow cabinet with shelves for clothes. Or, move the safe so that clothes could be placed on the cabinet shelf.

I would have given a 5 instead of a 4 had these couple of things been better.

The hotel is in a great location and I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to see. The MRT just a couple of hundred meters away so convenient for the airport too.

I would however stay at this hotel again but maybe try a different room.

The room had no window, the humidity was present in the whole window and mold in the shower.

I was here for 5 days in July 2022. paid Approx. 350€
Clean, Good location, too expensive, noisy aircondition, super compact rooms.

Had a room with a Window. The Window was big But I could only See into an alleyway so nothing Great to See here.
    The Room was clean.
Its a very compact Room: The Toilet „Room“ (it’s inside a Glass cabinet Right Next to the bed) was so small that I had to sit Diagonally on the toilet. I also don’t think it‘s an „artsy“ Hotel just because there is one painting. I found it super unmodern. The Worst Part was the aircondition: it‘s super noisy… like really, I Never heard anything like it. I had to Sleep with earplugs and even then I could hear it even in the „Quiet Mode“.
But Overall the Room is clean and the location is nice with a Bus stop Right in Front of the door.

Tipp: For the Following Nights I went to KINN capsule hotel right across the street and found it to be more comfortable While cheaper. You get free laundry there and cookies and it’s less noisy in the room (which surprised me too regarding the fact that 10 People share a room…)

advantage: pretty close to SMRT Clarke Quay station, in walking distance to Chinatown, Merlion and Fort Canning Park.
disadvantage: quite a portion of their rooms are without a window, space is more compact, traffic noise can be heard quite clearly in rooms facing the South Bridge Road

Stuff around is around everywhere ready to help. Easily accessible to taxi from the hotel. Complimentary drinks are available all time. The hair dryer was very powerful. Security within the premises is very good. Close to subway for those wanting to travel further. The room was noisy during the afternoon.

The whole hotel smelt so damp and the air was wet and humid. Felt ill just being there. We booked a superior room, but there was absolutely nothing superior about it, couldn’t swing a cat in it, it was so small. Could be okay for 1 person if you’re just using it to sleep, but far to small for 2 people. No window in the room. Expensive for what it was £125 for one night. The room is great, it is a large single and comfortable bed, although the room is small it had everything i needed, and not having a window meant no noise from outside the building
Only some noise issues for me: gurgling noise from air cond unit even when its switched off. And fan noise comment through the vents in the bathroom

The hotel is very close to the train station and very convenient for exploring Singapore.

The elevator is a room card touch type, so it is excellent for dealing with suspicious people from the outside.
The room was bigger than I expected and clean.
There aren’t many items for breakfast, but each item was delicious and I was full after conquering all the items.
I didn’t expect overseas fruits to have less sweetness and moisture,
I was impressed by the taste of ripe watermelons and melons eaten in Japan.

I’ve stayed at this hotel 4 times and was quite disappointed at how the standard had dropped since last time.
The air conditioning was not working in the room, and although it was fixed it took some time for this to happen.
The rooms certainly are showing signs of wear, and I’m not sure what had happened to the mattress but the extra pad that was put on top did not fit properly and kept moving throughout the night. The quilt also was not the correct size, and far too large for a single bed.
When the room was serviced I was not given a new set of all the towels that had been taken. By this stage I was getting so disappointed I didn’t bother asking for the missing towels to be brought up.
I don’t know if I would stay here again… sorry.

I walked in to my solo stay with all expectations met and exceeded as my mind was enthralled with nature to my right and city vibes to my left. Took a breather (and some photos) as I laid on the comfy and spacious bed to begin the process of unwinding. If value-for-money had a cousin, Clover would be it. I cannot begin to describe the remarkable attention to details from the bathroom to the pleasing aesthetics on the wall to the cute coffee table. Yet still encapsulating an atmosphere of gleeful relaxation. Room turned cool in minutes with a 20°c temp and low fan mode selected. Hotel surely takes care of your privacy as well with a divider between bathroom and toilet. Room amenities like the slippers, towels, soap and coffee also add to the smile in your heart. Hit your data cap for the month? No worries as there is free WiFi available for light use Overall a five star first impression and highly recommended for travellers looking to stretch their dollar. Location is excellent and price (via Qantas web site) was 50% of the daily direct rack rate.
