I enjoy going there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Quite a few good quality food stalls at the 505 Market and food centre. Wanton noodles, fishball noodles, fried carrot cake, claypot rice, chicken porridge and a while lot more. It’s also surrounded by a few coffee shops selling good food too. there’s one that is dedicated to Muslim food only. There’s also a huge area where you can get good and cheap fruits.

Well known as ‘502 Block’ locally, from clothes to fruits to wet market where the fish and meats are freshly available. Visit on Sat morning – that’s truly shopping time. Also, special monthly sales happens on every last Saturday of the month – more items and the better deal. Usually no bargains here. Some clothes shops may reduce that 90 cents if the purchase is above $20. Food court, children enrichment classes are great as well.

Pretty much anything you need to live, you can find in this area. You could get grocery in the wet market, yummy food in five different hawker centres, health products from Watson’s and Guardian, appliances like washing machine, fans or stoves, DIY tools at hardware stores, random household goods (needles, pots, mugs, plates) at at least three different stores, POSB, OCBC for banking needs, shoes, underwear, clothes, bags, there’s always an ice cream truck there, a shoe-repair shop, etcetc.

Only downside is that the only stationery shop there closed a few years back. There’s another store open within three minutes walking distance, but people usually go to the nearest Popular or Artfriend for a wider range of goods.

This is one of the most popular place in Jurong West. Residents from surrounding neighbourhood would travel all the way to visit this place esp the wet market and food stalls

There are retail shops, banks, fruit stalls/shops. You name it, they have it. In addition there is a Jurong Spring Community Centre next to the mkt, multi storey carpark for those who drive. The foods are good, tasty and also reasonably priced. You will be spoilt for choices on what to eat. Do not go on a Monday bec most of the stalls will be closed (rest day). On weekend it is extremely crowded. You may need to wait and queue up just to enter the mkt or eat in the fenced up area of those popular stalls. I usually visit on weekdays (exc Monday)

One of the popular markets in Jurong West Area. Quite crowded and noisy especially during weekends. You can find almost everything under the sun. Some notable stalls that you can find here are the fruits stalls, Ayza Restaurant, Uncle Penyet just came into the picture in one of the kopitiam. There is also a famous Nasi Ayam stall in the hawker Centre. In other words, good to explore if you out from Jurong West area. Be prepared if you go to the market during the weekends cos you will have to compete for spaces with former residents of Jurong East and West and Taman Jurong even. They always come back.

This is a cluster of hdb shop houses as well as kopitiam on the fringe of the Block 505 hawker centre and wet market.

And just like the hawker centre and wet market, it evokes a sense of nostalgia with its quaint and dated shops.

There are hairdressing shops, lots of DIY shops, a handphone shop, Guardian and Watson, several very old schooled confectionery, a shop selling chinese traditional wedding items, a reno contractor, Goodluck supermarket as well as 2 rather big sized fruit stalls. There is even a bubble tea shop.

Tbh, its seriously a must go to place during the lead up to CNY cos u can feel the mood and festivity in the air once u step in there.

    Highly recommended!!!
