This prawn noodle stall open 24hr so pretty convenient if you craving for it in the middle of the night. But I must say the soup is very favourable with punch of prawn taste. The pork ribs is also very tender. Definately recommended.

    Intestine prawn noodle(Dry)
    Prawn noodle(Dry)

Food wise: First off, drink the soup, it was so fragrant, in-depth and sweet! That alone caught one’s attention and got excited about the main dish.

The noodles were soft and very savoury, the sauce on the noodles was so tasty, one was so tempted to order another bowl just for the noodles.

Prawns were peeled, fresh and sweet and the pork slices were tender and succulent! The intestines were chewy and delicious, but probably not the type one would have preferred, fatty intestines is still one’s favourite. Uncle was pretty generous in the ingredients, look at the amount!

    Ambience wise: Coffeeshop!

    Service wise: Great!

    Price wise:
    Intestine prawn noodle $6
    Prawn noodle(Dry) $5.50

This prawn noddle only because the soup based is good, taste ok. Nothing special. Problem is that there are no vegetables and beans sprout inside which are norm to all prawn noodle stalls.

First try. Walked past the coffeeshop and noticed almost everyone was eating this, so naturally I got to try it. ️ But I think I made a mistake – everyone was having the soup version whereas I’ve always preferred dry noodles. Turns out that the broth is the gem! The flavours were so rich and tasty I almost wished I got a bigger bowl.
While the noodles is good too, I think the flavours were a little overwhelmed by the spicyness (feather weight here) and the lingering taste of the broth; the prawns and meat slices were very fresh and tender too.
A very satisfying meal, worth recommending!

It was tuck in a not too appealing coffee shop. Had tried this stall more than 10 years ago but had no clue how it tasted. My wife and myself went there and we were not disappointed. For a bowl of $4, you get decent pieces of slice pork and prawns. The broth was very good. It will be better if there is bean sprouts to break and balance everything

I understand there is inflation now, but for $5.50, the bowl of dry prawn mee that I received looked really miserable.

Taste wise, there is nothing really special about it. If you are in the area, go to golden mile and give Liang seah street prawn mee a try instead.

Another favourite joint for supper lovers or Night birds. This stall serves yummy traditional prawn noodles 24 hours. Unlike many that feature mainly on their large prawns, I like it how this stall just concentrates on serving you a simply but yet so delicious bowl of prawn noodle soup. There are many combinations you can choose from their menu and you have it either soup or dry. The prawn broth is very flavourful. Pig tails and pork ribs are tender too. Prices are very affordable too. Highly recommended place for those who really likes prawn noodle soup.

Saw this stall many times when I patronised chicken rice and the char. Finally had a chance to try it. As they has stated “traditional taste”? Not sure how was that linked? Ordered $4+$2 for extra prawns. In my opinion, the noodles are normally, prawns are tiny. Soup is basically peppery, other than that, not much of flavour.

This place is near my hostel which is only 2 mins walking. This is an chinese restaurant specialized in prawn noodles. The bowl of mee is prepared quite fast but chopsticks and spoons are not perfectly washed so you can feel a bit oily.

This is a place that you have to serve yourself. No one will bring the dish you your table, you have to do it and bring the tray when you finish.

I ordered 2 bowls and it’s very delicious and a bit spicy. You have 2 options between soup and dry. The price is very good, around $6 or $7 for a bowl. I think this place is a good restaurant if you are staying in Little India

    Dry prawn noodle – $4.50

Nothing special about the special sauce that the uncle made. Only has spicy taste to it and nothing more, costs 50 cents more expensive too.

    Soup prawn noodle – $4

The soup broth is better than average.

The portion of the noodle is quite little so I would suggest to top up 50 cents for more.
Overall is not too bad for a late night supper where options are scarce in Singapore.

Taste is ok, but as 2 other reviews said, attitude could be better. At least twice, they took orders wrongly even after telling them not 2 minutes ago, and expected me to swallow it. Noodle amount could be stingy. Soup on the thick & spicy side. At 3am, not plenty of choice, so you accept the pros & cons. But the zi char there is better, price, taste, and value for money.

Could taste the strong umami in the prawn broth. But the prawn meat as shown was de-shelled and did not taste as good as a fresh whole prawns.

Money-wise would consider as expensive for this bowl of noodles.

The saving grace is the prawn broth.

Would I be back? Probably yes if need to settle for a quick lunch on a working day.

Heard a lot of hype about this old school prawn noodle. I ordered the prawn with intestine yellow noodle with chor bee hoon soup version. The soup was definitely old school, light and savoury but not salty. My onky complaint is the yellow noodle was not cooked well. It was still quite hard. The noodles needed a couple more minutes. Portion was quite small for SGD5.

Is this the best prawn noodle? Whilst I appreciate this stall still cooks the traditional way, I’ve tasted better prawn noodles.

Have been ordering from this place for awhile now, decided to take a walk down to check out the actual place. Everything was alright, service was fine, hygiene looks decent, and food is good. Hard to find good prawn noodles nowadays, when I was growing up, the standard was much higher, I consider this one of the few places still maintaining a good standard in this day and age.

The only thing I would improve is the noodles doesn’t absorb the taste of the soup at all, feels like it is added in too late. All the ingredients are solid though and the soup is delicious.

I was very hungry and ordered 2 bowls of Prawn noodles soup. One with modest small prawns ($5) and one with the large prawns ($20). Needless to say both taste exactly the same. The soup tastes of prawn and it is tasty enough. What you are really paying for is the size of the prawns. As in everywhere else, the large prawns are frozen and tasteless (perhaps not worth the money). Stick to prawn soup. Still recommended.

No. Just no. It’s chilli noodles. There is no prawn flavour or anything else. Just chilli. Maybe the soup version is better, but at these prices, without any vegetables, I can’t justify trying it. Stall owner was nice though!

EDIT: Okay, if you actually look back to the reviews at 1 -2 years ago, that actually looks really good! Like, the dry noodle had lots of ingredients! What the heck happened?

I had the $4 noodle with shrimp only.
In the case of yellow noodles, there are many horses, so I tried other types of noodles, and the noodles were just right. The prawns were a bit small, but it was okay for the price and the quantity was okay. It wasn’t salty, it wasn’t a strong seasoning taste, it was mild and easy, but it wasn’t strong, so I liked it. If you want a little more spice, just add red pepper powder. The right place to simply relieve hunger! It felt like a bowl of udon as soon as it was packed, and above all, my aunt was kind.

Bought at 2am, might differ due to different employees. It’s ‘meh’. Passable as prawn noodles with a slightly diluted weak broth. Prefer stronger, multi-layered flavour soup. But the soup I received is diluted. Prawn choice is boring, taste average. Noodles are firmer than average, my preferred choice so a plus point. Ribs are indeed hard and not juicy. Anyway, if you want a 24 hrs prawn noodle, this is it. Nothing special and confused employee also charged me wrongly but nothing major.

The taste of prawn noodles is good in Singapore, but the boss’s service attitude is bad, indifferent and unfriendly and doesn’t want to pay attention to you. The coffee shop environment is also one of the dirtiest and worst in Singapore. I have considered it casual. The land of three religions and nine streams. In short, make you unhappy eating.

The dry vision is oily. The prawn is so small and poor slice into thin pieces. That don’t worth the price of $5.50 in a Coffeeshop Much better choice at the market nearby The cook was so slow and inexperience. Don’t think is local. Advice don’t try. Regret

Tucked in a shop opposite Sim Lim Tower, I guess you need to know this neighborhood to notice this stall. I noticed it while I was waking around in little India taking photos. The soup is dark and flavorful, a blend of prawn and all that porky stuff. Lots of options here from intestines, pig’s tail, ribs, pig skin, small prawns. The cook slowly mixed the sauce and drizzled it on the ingredients as I kept my watchful eye. There was a huge stock of noodles and ingredients signifying good business. They are also opened 24hrs. The sauce went well with the noodles, while it is pretty good, I have an impression that they taste better in a soup version. Overall, the bowl of noodles was pretty satisfying but not screaming good. Maybe I shall try the soup version next time.

I thought the food would be good based on the reviews. But it was not to be. For SGD5 per bowl, the prawn is sliced thinly and only 2 pork ribs given per bowl. And to make it worse, the pork ribs are tough and boney with little meat. There was a generous amount of fried pork lard if that is what you like.
