I came here expecting good bubble tea which I did get. However when walking in I asked about their alcoholic options as I’d seen a bunch of reviews, news articles, the drinks are high priced and some are called things like beer etc. Was told by the cashier none of the drinks had alcohol in them. That was a little disappointing and I wish they put out a disclaimer letting people know as there’s so much online about them having alcohol

Place is dirty due to lack of staff cleaning the shop despite the crowd. Long queue and hefty prices for Bubble teas. Cocktails were just already and took 20mn to be served again due to the lack of staff. Non-alcoholic beverages were good but again not worth the price. Go to any regular bubble tea chain and you will get the same. Gave it a try, will certainly not come back.

Nice drinks but not enough chairs or tables for a bar. On a Friday night, it is filled to the brim but everybody is standing. I suggest putting at least 2-3 more chairs every table as there is definitely space to do that.

The tea king cone is pretty decent – like Thai milk tea but less sweet. Opens till 1am on Saturday which is convenient for the party crowd in Clarke Quay. Also had the strawberry chezzo. A little pricey and more worth it when dining in.

This is simply THE most overrated place I’ve ever been to. The Jasmine tea I ordered was tasteless. It was very bitter, and the only sweet thing in my drink was the cream cheese at the top. To make things even worse, it costed five Singapore bucks to order it. The only good thing about my Heytea experience was the store itself. It is a very cosy store, and the architecture is very modern and innovative. I am thoroughly disappointed.

Quite busy at night the had sold out of brown sugar which makes up half their menu plus most of the other drinks. The guy serving us couldn’t figure out how to make a milk tea without the brown sugar pearls although you can obviously swap them, luckily one of the girls came over pushed him out the way and sorted it out swapped the pearls for taro. All good. Didn’t see any of the alcoholic drinks however there was a closed side of the shop which said 18+ so I assume they no longer make them?

If you tried the chesse tea in any other place and didn’t like it, please give heytea a chance. It will totally change your mind about cheese tea.
There are several bases you can choose such as green tea and Ever Spring. I will recommend you start from King Fone with least sugar which is my favorite one. The strong tea flavor plus the chesse is just perfect.

Have been craving a fresh milk taro which I usually been getting from a spcific different store, but today HEYTEA was more convenient for my bubble tea fix. Was so excited to see that they have bobo taro milk. I wasn’t sure what to expect as most bubble tea places use taro flavourings.

However, the moment I took a sip, Oh. Dear. Not only they use fresh chunky taro, they use meiji milk (super creamy) and there are taro balls inside (the kind they use in taiwanese dessert). SHIOK!

    Recommended: grapefruit boost
    Not recommended: Golden Pineapple boost

The price is different with no obvious reasons. The grapefruit boost is cheaper and taste much nicer. When I drank the pineapple boost it tasted like pineapple + water ice blended.

If you have issues with eating pineapple eg. feeling spiky feelings in the tongue when eating pineapples this drink is not for you. I couldn’t finish the drink as the discomfort is too overwhelming. Could be a personal thing.

Just a note: I ordered pineapple boost with less sugar.

The tea ice cream is also not to standard, with a powdery texture and the pearl is not chewy enough.

Overall, still worth a try if you don’t mind spending abit more.
