Can be a little warm as the air conditioning doesn’t seem very strong. The food variety is good.

Nice place… not too busy during weekends… you’ve got the standard Hans menu – a good choice of western and local food… and a variety of cakes and pastry…

Compared to other branches the only issue with this branch along upper Thomson road is accessibility. But it’ll soon change once the mrt station outside is ready.

Parking was horrendous. A nice cool place with good social distancing space to have a snack or a simple meal.

Not too bad and it’s open 24 hours. However, Han’s has outlets everywhere so if you do not live nearby, this can be quite inconvenient to go to.

I checked in on 21.11.2020 at 10.15am. The staff preparing the drinks was super rude

I am not going to detailed my experience. I find that Customer experience is important esp in retail and F&B business. I hope the management will focus in training the front line staff.

Let’s say it’s past midnight, and you have driven for ages and you somehow end up in Upper Thomson, I guess it might be acceptable to then stop by Han’s for some emergency food. Don’t expect too much. The good thing is that prices aren’t high either.

Nice family restaurant, price is reasonable but for me the portions are too small. Service was okay, sometimes they might miss or give you the wrong order.

Food is good. It is always served hot. Economical place to have a decent meal. Prices are affordable. Menu seems to be stagnant. It would be nice to see some changes in the menu. The deserts are average. On the whole it’s a family orientated place for dining.

This Han’s outlet offers some Japanese cuisine on top of their usual Hainanese, Western and Chinese fare. Besides their meals, I enjoy their pastries and cakes too. Spacious outlet although parking is quite a pain around here.

As of 11 Nov, they only allow 2 pax dining-in despite the 5 pax household dining-in rule.

24 hour shop. Convenient. Fuss free. Usual decent quick eats.

Home grown cafe. I normally would go for their set meals which are served till 10pm only. Thereafter, its being charged at Ala carte items

Han’s is the pride of Singapore cafes. Food is cooked and served with promptness and with no sacrifice on quality and taste. Staff members are always polite and efficient. It is heart warming to see familiar faces who serve you at the cafe at Upper Thomson and other cafes within the Group. Much to do with the management, culture of the Group and the training. Importantly Han’s is always catching up with technology. Kudos to Mr Han and his team!

24 hours and has reasonably priced food. When I went, the place is rather empty, so it serves as a good place to chill with family or friends.
They have local choices such as hor fan and Western choices. In addition, meals can be upgraded to set meal. I personally quite like the sup there.
Hans serves alcoholic beverages for those who want to.

Probably the only Han’s outlet that’s worthy of the name. Most others have lost their mojos – especially the one at JCH.

Service is just like the old Hans. Believe me there is a difference – especially when natives are running the outlet. Sadly the ongoing MRT works is making this place inaccessible by car. Which is a shame.

A normal HAN’s cafe, but one of the bigger restaurant very spacious even with limited capacity. The staff are friendly and rather fast serving. The only problem will be parking, limited space especially after 9pm. I would suggest tried parking at 7-11 area (if possible) and walk over else have to try at the private estate.

Your Air-condition was down, ok I understand that. So your seating is left with outdoor seating at the side. The plates were not cleared on the used tables while your staff had pretty much nothing to do at the counter. We went to another table and there were lizard droppings on it. Clearly shows no one is motivated to work there. and by the way, you were once known for your coffee, I bet you compromised on it. it is awful.

Mixed review or rather a heads up.

Food is typically good as per Hans. Bigger than most outlets providing ample seats. Only draw back is the lack of being sufficiently kids friendly. Staff charge 30cents for warm water for toddler bottle.

It is reasonable to charge for adults but for children/babies? Deem not child friendly.

A nice place to have a quick meal. Serves a good range of Western and Asian dishes. Taste is quite good mostly. Prices are reasonable. Usually quiet between meals but can be crowded and busy during the usual meal times. Have two TV sets playing different channels to cater to different watchers. Seat yourselves accordingly if you are interested to watch the programmes being broadcast. Service is usually excellent.

Looking for home cooked style food? Hans serves that. Simple, but tasty. The only issue I have about this outlet is the parking if you drive, as its few and difficult to park as its all roadside parking only. But if you taking Thomson East-Coast Line, this is easy to get to. Food prices are reasonable and the coffee served here is good.

A nice cosy corner for lunch, tea and dinner. The place is usually not very crowded. Food is the usual western and Chinese food that you can expect from any Han’s restaurants. The place is quite hidden with the construction of the springleaf mrt station and need a detour to reach it. Plenty of seats and tables and the place is popular with the lunch crowd from the nearby industrial area. Service is quick and prompt and polite. Had vegetarian hor fun (Han’s menu) and the chicken karaage rice (Āto menu). The hor fun was the same standard hor fun we’re familiar with, while the karaage rice is something new. The karaage rice had a generous serving of the chicken karaage pieces, which are lightly battered and slightly on the savoury side. It’s not bad, but it isn’t something that I’ll return for more. I still prefer their chicken fried rice.

Their iced teh-si less sweet was… “healthier” than expected, but all’s good.

    Review as a delivery rider.

A troublesome place to pick up from.
90% of orders are always late.
This place is also known as ATO (on the app, sometimes) but probably embarrassed by the name coz the physical place doesn’t have this name.
Neither does it say on the app that ATO and Han’s are the same place.
Maybe they expect riders to be mind reads.

With that said, it’s a pretty popular place for order.

It’s been awhile since I’ve eaten at Han’s, and I’ve always enjoyed the roasted half chicken. This time wasn’t an exception, it was served piping hot and the meat was tender. I think they did change the side dish for the dish I ordered from before, it used to be mixed vegetables such as carrots broccoli, which seems to have been replaced with rocket lettuce salad which was disappointing for me.

One thing I also miss is the free-flow self-service water, though I do understand the need to remove it due to covid restrictions.

The aglio-olio crispy we ordered today tasted only of chilli and not much else. It was extremely spicy that we struggled through it. I suggest you avoid this dish if you are not a fan of chilli.

The saving grace which garnered it 3 stars was only the fact that Hans conjured childhood memories for me, if not I would probably rate this dish 1 Star.

Ps. We added the egg from a separate dish, the aglio olio crispy does not come with it.
