Giant super at paya lebar is well situated at paya lebar mrt station. Like other outlets it has many daily necessities, groceries, fruits, vegetables. Pouĺries for purchases. Besides, it is between two shopping mall– paya lebar mall and paya lebar quarters. Easy to get every daily necessities and services.

Get him to do the fillet and the fish head and bones packed separately. Has a self – checkout line too. The payment lines are crowded and slow during weekends so be prepared.
Quite huge and has a wise selection. But prices on shelves are not reflected at casher. Eg 1l UFC coconut drinks were shown as $6 for two but paid $6.15 at the cashier. $.15 cents is not much but it should be accurately reflected.
I usually window shop at PL square Giant. I will when there is good offers on fruits like gold kwi fruit. Or apples, oranges, mangoes. I do not have fotos to add.

I had a very pleasant experience. Staff like Chee Leong Hin and the lady supervisor made my day. Chee even guided me on how to go to the other store to buy the item which was not available. To my surprise he even checked by calling. The supervisor is fast and efficient. The 2 staff has brought the org to the next level. The spoke very clearly and good english. Kudos to Giant management for employing such efficient staff.

Note out of 4 self chk out machines, usually only 2 work and at times, even just one. The queues for the other manned cashiers tend to be at least 4 or more ppl long the times I visit.

Fair selection of products for everyday needs. Reasonable prices for many produce.
But, POOR work ethic of the team in charged of display of price tags, as it seems like they don’t take pride in their work. Some racks of products have none at all, so how’d one expect consumers to know the prices and make decisions on the purchase? This will affect the movement of those products, so the poor distributors/suppliers of those products are gonna be affected too.
The poor calibration of the weighing machine, placed near where the strong wind of a air-con is blowing at, always displays a flactuating few grams even when theres no items on the weighing machine. Go figure.
