6 selfcheck out counters not even 1 is usable is it because its 7.45am and you have like 5 staff stocking up the goods. Doesn’t make sense to install the machine, switch it on and don’t use it. The queue was long about 5-6 persons and only 2 counters open.
I must say place is clean and easy access but effectiveness of the place a 2 star.

The cashiers are helpful & efficient. The fresh meat & seafood stalls have bad customer service. They refused to do a butterfly cut for whole fish displayed & not wrapped up. Giant IMM gladly provide the service with no questions asked. The pork store packed everything in big pack. When I requested for a smaller pack, she’s replied it’s all packed. Basically trying to get rid of all her stock and end the day early perhaps. Such attitude gave customers limited choices . Of course I left without buying anything. No such problems in other supermarket.

Giant at Beauty World is convience shop for residents around upper BKTM 7.5mile and Jln Jurong Kechil. The shop do provide customers with adequate daily range of selection. Used to be Shop and Save, but later converted to a Giant. Honestly, I wouldn’t come here for groceries unless it’s canned stuff or packaged goods. Even then. The selection is minimal and prices not the most competitive. Fresh produce can be a little questionable sometimes.

Still I thought it would taste okay, I bought Strawberry cheese cake, but it was disgusting and grahams inside were like wet biscuits when it had to be crispy. Ugh…

The attitude of the staff is not good, and the attitude towards the customers is all use orders! And this place is very unsafe and there were quarrels several times, but no manager or security guard came out to maintain order! It is a very unpleasant shopping every time, but there is no convenient supermarket nearby and there is no way to buy things here! If the employees have quality education or induction training, they will be more professional!

This small Supermarket was earlier outlet fr Shop & Save & prior to that known as Oriental. It has the usual range of products like Fairprice Supermarket, but its brands are often different. Their “home brands” under Giant name are cheaper than Fairprice. They hve a friendly long term employed checkout staff..with the Malay lady being outstanding in friendliness & personality. A good place to shop.
