On 5/1 at 10 pm. we went to giant at Loyang point to buy 200 bottles of love letters tagged at $8.80 for 2 bottles.
When we reached giant Loyang point, we found that they have not sufficient stock of 200, and they don’t deliver. When I insisted to call Tampines they called giant Tampines, and the staff confirmed that the $8,80 stock is still available. I asked her to call again to re confirm, but she said no need to. As she has done so.
We took the trouble to rush to Tampines n found that they don’t have stock of the $8.80 for two bottles love letters.
When I called Loyang point, they refused to answer the phone after 4 missed calls.
Is this the business policy of Giant to inconvenience customers .
What is even more important, I cannot give my guest one bottle each for CNY as promised.
Can you give me an acceptable solution to this problem
Self checkout is great. 24 hours is great. Unfortunately, there are lots of people who cannot understand what self checkout is, and insist on bringing large trolleys to the self checkout area.
But this is not really Giant’s fault.
Shop here often. Many varieties of stuff here; perishables n otherwise. At good prices too

At 3.26 am on 21 Feb at Loyang Point the male cashier was rude n insensitive. He was searching for any hiden unpaid items in the few discarded cardboard pieces. He gives the impression I was trying to steal. Bad shopping experience when there were only 2 customers in the supermart.

Some good prices, and service staff are great, but the store has been rearranged, and it is not that user friendly anymore. A few good improvements, but some not so good.
All are good except that casher staff not happy to serve customer when customer queued and asked help to exchange coin for getting a cart. …hope to see some improvements regarding this kind service request…
Huge store. Sells alot of items. From groceries to kitchen appliances. Better than most other Giant supermarkets. Convenient. There are also a few self-checkout counters. Opens 24 hours now. Self checkout counters are not open during the wee hours though.

Price is competitive to NTUC & Seng Siong. It all depends ton the governance of the store manager. This branch is ok. I ve visited some very bad managed Giant with rotten vegetables etc still on the racks.
Summary, Loyang Point Giant is worth shopping.
Good to have Giant here. But stocks wise limited.
The best thing about this Giant is that it opens 24 hours and night owls can do late night shopping. This Giant is fairly large and you should be able to get most of your essentials here. Use the self checkout as the queue here can be long at most times.

I would like to give feedback regarding pricing and service. Malaysia papaya was priced at $2.95 at the shelf but I was charged $3.45 at the self-service checkout.
Helmy, the Giant staff on duty there, helped me to check. However he said I had to wait for manager to settle the matter. I had already spent nearly 10min, and didn’t know how long more it would take.
This is really very inconvenient for customers. The same thing happened at an Ntuc outlet, and it was immediately settled. The time of the incident was 2:25pm on 7June.

Has most things one would need from ice cream to basic hardware and tools. The one at Loyang Point is open 24 hours. Staff friendly and helpful. 3% discount for Seniors every Tuesday. Food is always fresh and a wide variety is available. Prices are reasonable and competitive.

On 13 July, I went to Giant in Loyang Point noticed that the main entrance at Giant Supermarket was opened to Public rather than to walk all the way to Loyang Point Mall’s main entrance just outside the taxi stand.
Was very inconvenient for the residents and elderly. Some shoppers including me climbed up the muddy slope outside Burger King. I was told that the Management had actually closed it.
I hope it will still remain open so as to avoid accident.

This is a big supermarket in the Pasir Ris area, bigger than the NTUC FairPrice at White Sands, the other comparable being Sheng Siong at Elias Mall. Buying groceries here doesn’t feel rushed and squeezed, the aisles here are wide and usually uncluttered, crowds are not huge and merchandise range is decently wide. A new deli counter has just opened in.the fresh produce corner, you can get 2 items for $2 like fried chicken wings, fried ngoh hiang etc. Sometimes you can find quick sale items, like Reduced To Clear which is usually 50% off the normal retail price for items nearing expiry.
