    First visit to the PASIR RIS joint. The service was good. You have attentive and friendly staff.
    We had Siew mia, 腐皮卷,凤爪,prawn dumplings noodle and a 皮蛋猪肉粥(pork porridge). Whilst the porridge was blend, the 腐皮卷 was very salty. 凤爪 had a bit too much spices added. Prawn dumplings were fresh but The noodles had a distinctive (not a kee taste) but something that was not quite tasty. And the sauce was too sweet. Maybe I’m not used to this type of roundish noodles. I asked the staff what kind of cuisine and she was unsure.
    The decor of this outlet is nice and comfortable. However I would not return again.

    The restaurant offers a wide variety of dim sum dishes and also comes up with novel selections. My mum and I especially enjoyed the steamed pork ribs and the siu mai, although the crispy duck roll was not great. However, the staff were friendly and sincere. A meal for two came up to more than S$60 though.

    Pretty good food. Tried a variety of dim sum and a couple of dishes. The wasabi prawns we’re decent, but the wasabi mayo can be a bit overwhelming for some. Salted egg custard dumpling was interesting and is considered one of their specialty items. Overall good tasting food but a bit on the pricey side. Not quite worth the value for money.

    Had craving for porridge so came here to try their porridge.
    Ordered the dried scallop congee and the century egg shredded pork porridge, as well as the Xiao long Bao and the crispy beancurd roll Cheong fun

    The porridge was unfortunately a little bland but this was easily remedied with soy sauce that they supply

    The Xiao long Bao was unexpectedly not bad! The soup had a tinge of sweetness and the meat was soft, the skin was just right as well. It came in a plate of 3 that left us wanting for more

    The crispy beancurd roll cheong fun was also good, with a nice balance of textures. Soft Cheong fun paired with the crispiness of the beancurd roll and the crunchiness of the prawn- quite a good appetiser/ dim sum must have. Perhaps the only quibble was that it arrived room temperature – maybe it’s not meant to be served hot?

    All in all would come back to try more dim sum, probably not the porridge.

    We had a garoupa (hk style), lotus root with asparagus and bai he (pepper style), and half-chicken. What i like is that the kitchen can customise our order – we had a toddler and wanted the lotus root not to be spicy/peppery and they did that for us. So my kiddo very happy to eat the delicious lotus root.

Food was pretty ok bit pricey for zi char style of options. Better place to have dim sum then dinner. Their dim sum is pretty good. 2 Jan 2021 – dine in at 6.15pm, Post Circuit Breaker Phase 3.

    3 stars.

    Came for dim sum. Xiao long bao and chicken feet were nice. Siew mai and deep fried shrimp dumplings had weird flavours – overwhelming mushroom and vegetable taste, no shrimp in the shrimp dumplings.

    Tables were placed less than 1m apart. Staff had to tell customers to seat in certain positions at the table.

    Staff led me to a table near the cashier initially but there was a foul smell nearby so I had to change tables.

    Service was friendly enough but not very attentive.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    3.5 stars – dinner on 15 Jul 2017
    The service staff were quite attentive but food service was relatively slow in the beginning (at about 6.30pm before the dinner crowd came in) which picked up as the night went on.
    Food was tasty, but for the prices charged, I would be able to get a higher quality of dim sum (which I’m accustomed to) elsewhere. Their menu is also not very extensive – limited items depending on what you may like.
    Dim sum items we had:
    Har gow – dumpling skin wasn’t too thick and the prawn was fresh.
    Crispy duck roll – peking duck wrap (without the duck skin) done springroll style. Must go with a bit of the hoi sin sauce.
    Wu xiang meat roll – crispy coating and juicy on the inside.
    Xiao long bao – dumpling skin was too thin, and each of the 3 dumplings were tucked under/stuck to each other which resulted in the skin tearing and the juices spilling out when trying to pick them out from the basket.
    Beancurd puff in bean sauce
    Chive dumplings
    Other items:
    Salted egg pumpkin strips – good salted egg flavour and crispy texture but the pumpkin was a bit too mushy on the inside.
    Spinach with 3 egg in superior stock – tasty but the stock was a bit too salty. We also found a short strand of hair when we had almost finished this, informed the manager who apologised and offered us complimentary desserts to make up for it.
    Overall, it’s a pretty filling meal with average satisfaction if you’re in the vicinity.
    Awesome the food and the place Good Dim Sum average is about $5-7 per dish. Currently ongoing is a birthday promotion which gives you a 20% discount, though the membership registration took some time.
    Although it is not a very comfortable place, the food is very good. I recommend the bean curd roll pork intestine fun, and the five spices are very special and delicious, which is different from the outside.
    We were pleasantly wowed by the food here, most of which was fresh. The porridge was really silky, while the various dim sum were freshly steamed. The harkow, siewmai, char siew pau and salted egg custard buns were nice, but the lor mai kai was expensive at the price. The xiao long baos were good too, but lacked some broth inside, or had dried up.
    Service was friendly and quick, and we will be back for their fried rice and fried noodles.
    The staff there are polite and friendly. My baby had made a mess on the table and floor but the staff still maintained their professional services and a smiling face when servicing us.
