The Indian shop here serves the best naan, paratha and chapati in NTU. This place is a saviour for north Indian NTU students! Staff is also very friendly and easy going. Have been going here for 3 years. A meal: 2 sabzi+ 2 chapati can cost about S$4-8, depending on choice of sabzi.

Canteen 9 is okay place to have food I usually go to Indian shop.

Best thing is Canteen the Indian food stall stays open till late night. Their food is quite good and reasonably priced. Best thing I like to eat is Aloo, Gobi and Paneer paratha. Also masala tea is nice

But had a worst experience is of chicken there, and it is not once but many times. So better to be away from that food.

There are good options of Chinese and Indian food. There are plenty seating as well, though it can be a bit crowded during 12-1 pm lunch times. The Indian stall is very good indeed, probably the best Indian food in the campus, even after new options opening up. The stall makes the best tandoori roti, naan and stuffed parathas (aloo, gobi, paneer) – all made fresh from the oven, even kulcha and bhatura – available nowhere else on the campus. The other North Indian style curries are delicious (a bit oily, some would say, but not less on flavour) too – the palak paneer, daal fry, kadhi, butter chicken. The fellow is a great conversationalist too, if that’s your thing.

Food is generally cheap, thats all. Not a place to satisfy your taste buds.

although the shanghai dumpling store have since closed, which is the only thing in that store worth eating in this canteen

do not be fooled by the many people eating the sichuan mala hotpot. Its only redeeming factor is the reasonable cost.

The only place in NtU to open till 11pm.
Hygiene and cleanliness- please forget those words when you eat out here.
Nevertheless, the food is authentic and delicious.
The curries aren’t cooked daily but the bread items like roti, naan and kulcha are!
$ per pax ($$ if you order too many meat items and side dishes)
    Takeaway available.

I spent a stay abroad here 6 years ago and ate scrambled eggs with tomatoes almost every day for 5 months. This week I was back and the scrambled eggs taste even better than they did back then. Living in Hall 8 for 4 years, can9 was always my go-to spot for convenient meals.

Drinks stall aunties and uncle are super nice, and are easy to talk to. Yuan yang peng and milo peng are my favourites here.

Indian stall, if you can look past initial impressions, has pretty damn good curries. The butter chicken briyani here is a must try and a good deal for only 5 dollars.

Jiulixiang is OK if you know what to order – the hotpot is decent for sharing and value for money.

Caifan stall is pretty average, prices may fluctuate a bit but it’s still decent. The better part is its tzi char, which is great. Queues are a bit longer, but the food is good – try the dry curry chicken, sheng mian, salted egg chicken, hotplate tofu and seaweed soup. Very good.

Mala stall is on the pricier side, but it’s pretty good – try to go in the afternoons for the fried egg. The mala comes in two varieties too – Tom yum, and the regular. Both are good options.

The waffle stall opens in the evening, and a slightly less known item on the menu for Thursdays to Sundays is its mac n cheese and bolognese. The former especially is really good. Oh, they sell ice cream too.
