So the FP Xtra here is fine, I like that it’s huge with a variety of things sold. This review is mainly about House of Bakers, which is the in- house bakery here. There is a male worker there who speaks with a very cringy, bad (and broken) English accent. Nothing against him but I was there at least 3 times over a span of 2 weeks to make purchases and he was coughing quite badly. It’s a bit disturbing that during the times I’ve visited, he seemed to be the only one manning the entire bakery. With his chronic coughing and handling food stuff at the same time, I’d be very wary to eat anything there. The management needs to look into ensuring that staff handling food at their respective counters are well and healthy. I can honestly say that I’ve stopped purchasing from this bakery, especially when this guy is around. Not only does the cringy accent makes me very uncomfortable, the thought of possibly eating germy, contaminated buns and cakes also turn me off.

Pretty huge supermarket by NTUC. Almost everything regarding food are sold there. There used to be a place you can order food to be cooked there.
The price is slightly on the high side.
Bought some cheap durian. Just lucky lol

Beer, Brandy, Gin, Jim Bean, Martini, Sake Vodka, Wine, Whisky and etc at NTUC. Furthermore you can purchase the ingredients at NTUC and get it cook at “The Kitchen”. This is really fresh from the store to your table. You choose your own ingredients and cook at the kitchen by professional chef. If Zhu Cha is your tatse then you can go for Japanese sushi. After the meal, you can get Ice cream for dessert or follow Italian way of dinner end it with espresso.

My new favourite NTUC. If you think all stores are the same, you need to pay a visit to this one. It has the feel of hypermarkets in Australia with a place to dine in and even a bar. Variety of goods not seen even in most Fairprice Finest stores. Check out their healthier ice cream selections.

The supermarket is OK but not the food. Tried the pick & cook at The Kitchen. Picked a fish at $7.99 but the cook/preparation charge was $8, which I felt expensive for NTUC food court setting. The sambal sauce on the fish was too salty. We ordered also the classic fried rice at $7, which means using salt instead of soy sauce. The salt was not evenly spread (it takes skill) and I had 2 mouthful of salt. Not worth the $7. Then we bought the most terrible tamagoyaki at $1.50. Hard n no taste at all. Was there even egg in it or just colouring. Very disappointing experience. The only good thing was the gentleman at the cashier was polite and pleasant. For the price paid, won’t come back again.

Arrangement of bread and eggs are hidden at one corner far end, not close to the cashier as with other outlets. Convenience is not a thing here. Drinks are hidden at the back and not at the immediate isles except for cold drinks.

Some better planning needed for things are not related to the bakery and bar, don’t know why they lump it there..overall layout does not make customers squinted with.

Places more focus on event items instead where you get staff like a bespectacled staff at the electronics area staring at customers every move and utterly rude when asked. Even security guards behave better than that.

Work on the layout for others to shop..compared to other outlets where layout is take and go from the cashier area if need be forget one item while paying.

Taking over the previous Gaint hypermart space on L3 Parkway Parade, this is a huge NTUC extra store. Other than the standard home apparel, electrical and electronic appliance sections of which is the feature of NTUC Extra chain. Other than a great collection of craft beers, wine and alcoholic drinks, this branch also comes with a wine bar and snack counters where you can enjoy a bottle of beer or a glass of wine if you wanna have a short break during your grocery shopping. They also hv a pay-&-eat area for you to enjoy your food purchases straight away and you can also leave your young ones at the kid corner for a short period of peaceful mind. Other than live seafood, they also carry deluxe gourmet food like A4 japanese wagyu beef, preservatives free tofu, and many premium cheese to choose from. They also have a pick-&-mix spices counter too. This branch equips with the smart AI self-help weight scales which can recognise your veggies or fruits categories and saved your efforts from searching from the full list.

In this FairPrice we can pick raw food such as fish, meat, vegetables, etc from the supermarket shelves and hand them to the Kitchen and the chefs will cook for us. The Kitchen itself also have its own yummy salad and pasta that are freshly made. The chefs are friendly and cook well. However, lamentably the fishes from the supermarket are not always fresh and that affect the taste and quality of the cooked meal.
There are tables and chairs at one end of the supermarket for dinners but it’s frustrating to see that they are taken up by people who are not eating and don’t seem to be waiting for their food, and the available ones are littered with food crumbs. A rather sorry sight for a well intentioned setting.
Overall 5 stars for the kitchen in the supermarket and 1 stars for FairPrice for their unfresh fishes.

Neat and spacious. Like the dining-in concept whereby we can order some menu items to be cooked there and then, plus the ready-to-eat sushi & bento meals, not to mention some pre-mix salad choices as well. Has butchery that’s on the pricy side, like Culina at the Bedok Mall & Marine Pde outlets but seems more serious abt the meat cuts and ageing. Also have mix own salad option at the butchery.

Some technical problems occurred during payment. Money was deducted from my Grabpay but not reflected on FairPrice app. Made payment with another card so as not to hog the counter and the staff offered to double check with their accounts if there’s any surplus charge during their end of day. One of the largest supermarket in east coast. Floor space is wide, selections of goods are aboundent, all staffs are nice and attentive. Almost every thing you need for daily life.

However, the only letdown(so far), and a deal breaker for me, is that I can not find fresh, non frozen, sliced pork for stir fry dish and hot pots, while there are fresh sliced beef in the meat section. The staffs were kind enough to offer to cut thick slices for me, which is more suitable for bbq or pork steak. I guess CSfresh is the better choice in this regard.

Interesting experience to eat what you just got off the shelf at FairPrice. Brings grocery shopping to life. The veggies & fish (sea bass – we selected the King sea bass which had a thicker skin perfect for pan searing) are fresh. Highly recommend the garlic stir fry for the veg dish. Portion is generous. 1 rice enough for 2 pax. Pricier as you need to pay a small fee ($8 for meat, $4 for veg) for cooking services.

An interesting concept where grocery, cafe, bar and pharmacy connect smoothly for a seamless shopping experience.

By the way, the cafe serves good and affordable food.

Very good variety of organic produce and products, though a little pricy.

I wonder whether FairPrice would be the first to show and help me & others (as a retail purchasers) to find a website comparison with other supermarkets of organic prices for both produce and products? This would be really useful.

Love this concept of integrating grocery, dining, bar and kids zone all in one supermarket. The booze at the bar is one of the most affordable in the area! Fresh craft beer + fresh cooked meal = satisfaction!

Price like Cold Storage. Not as cheap as Sheng Siong n with varieties. For example strawberries of the same weight is less than $4 at Sheng Siong but above $7 at Fairprice! Perhaps from different sources but price matters.

Best NTUC FairPrice ever? There’s even a section where you can order your gourmet meat and have them cooked and then eat it in the NTUC straightaway. Huge selection range too.

Much better than the old Giant. Plenty of space for shoppers to walk about the shelves, food items are neatly organized, lots of variety, best is you can shop and cook on the spot to dine inside.

Mistam is extremely helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure customers enjoy a smooth and efficient shopping experience.

I couldn’t find a specific grocery I want after combing 2 NTUC finest this evening (even though I went back to the same store where I bought my item previously).

After calling and finding out that this store has the item, Mistam agreed to place the items at the Customer service counter, so I can simply make payment and check out my items.

Thank you Mistam for your best service towards your customers. It made my day! Take care and stay safe!
