More choices than the other branch at Blk 65. Can get busy during the peak periods but commendable service by friendly staff. 24hrs makes it very convenient to go in the wee hours.

I patronise NTUC Taman Jurong last Thursday in the late evening. It was not exactly a pleasant shopping experience. Reason being there wasnt a sales asst. for me to clarify an item, maize, on sale. Two prices for 2 varieies were put in the same lot and the descriptors for both keep one to guess which was referred to. The 3rd variety was placed below the other two but I could only assume the highest price was referred to this variety. I just gave up the desire to make a purchase.

Update rating on 20 Jul 2020. I visited around midnight 12am and aircond was not working well or turned down/off. Very hot in the supermarket. One guy queueing behind me said he felt very stuffy. Hope the outlet can consider adjusting the temperature to something more comfortable.
The supermarket outlet I visit most often. It is spacious with a wide variety of stuff, and others are often many products on sale. Plus point – it is 24 hours cashier staff are friendly.

Typical Fairprice supermarket that adds to the bustling mall with other shops. Great variety of fresh vegetables/fruits/fish/meat, groceries and household items available.
It’s rare to be able to find a convenient local supermarket here in Taman Jurong Shopping Centre. Honestly, this is not a big store that well stocked compare to other branches namely the one in JEMS or Jurong Point. Nevertheless, one can still most essentials groceries here. Needless to say, it does serves my family well during the circuit breaker lockdown period.
Fresh good quality fish and vegetables are all available here with good variety. Of course, they are also price reasonably enough to serve all the residents staying in Taman Jurong. I would not term it as a convenient location. Only good thing is, it is well stock or just enough for a small family doing grocery shopping every weekends.
One of the plus point indeed is its 24 hours operations. You will never missed anything if you are an early bird or people that are more active at night. Definitely a neighbourhood supermarket store.

I’ve been a long time customer of this place and most of the time, it has been a wonderful shopping experience. However, yesterday night when checking out there was this older worker manning the self-checkout booth. I was planning to use my coins to pay for half my order (it was around $20, so I wanted to pay $10 with coins) and didn’t want to bother the working cashier to help me count them. Hence, isn’t the best way to pay using the self-checkout?? But, I was stopped by her, extremely rudely. (Ps: it was night time and there wasn’t much people there, so I wasn’t being an obstruction or slowing down payment) Just wanna ask, when in the world aren’t we allowed to pay in coins? Does the government create coins for us to just store at home? I’m just triggered by her mannerism at a Customer and she could’ve directed me to the cashier if she were to use the excuse that the machine will spoil (but just sayin, coins are a form of money too AND the machine that is used to receive money can’t take coins?). Yeah, the issue is she hadn’t been able to direct me to other sources of payment if she had really wanted to serve me as a customer. No alternative solutions, just a No you can’t pay with so many coins. (Also, she said much more ruder stuff but I shall not repeat anymore.)
End point, She just wanted me to use BIGGER NOTES to pay.
PS: I too don’t do this often, I often alternate between my payment methods, but there are times when we will need to use our coins right?
