Honestly, a pretty good place. Wanted to buy a standing fan late at night and this place had it and at good prices. Even has ovens and other common household appliances.

Smallish but carries a comprehensive selection of groceries, snacks and toiletries. Every week there a new focus products, keeps me coming back for more. Only gripe is the self-service checkout is overly sensitive making it hard to scan and pack your purchases, especially is you bring your own bag.

A very well stocked 2-storeyed branch that carries a very huge variety of groceries, toiletries, and even some household products & appliances. A much preferred choice for buying stuff compared to the branch at Hougang Mall. However, be prepared to wait for a longer time during checkouts due to the long queues throughout the day.
This is a 24 hr ntuc in hougang central. Convenient and have all the daily necessities you need to buy from a supermarket. One of my favourite supermarkets in Hougang!
A big Fair Price at Kangkar Mall.It consist of two levels( 1 & 2 ) It has lots of different categories of products. Level 2 has an Unity Phamarcy .There is quite a queue during week ends & Sundays. Also it is open 24 hours.There is a HDB car park infront of Kangkar Mall & a multi storey car park at Blk 805 just a short walk away.

Most unique about this branch is definitely 2 storeys of groceries with huge arrays of produced and daily products to wander around and ️ with ease and fun. Convenient and 24 hrs operation with many available counters to out your purchases. Ample parking for those driving. Frankly speaking and surprised ️Much better than inside Hougang mall.

Just a short cut through this supermarket to visit the linked food court. Most of the food stalls have changed from the yummy delicious street food formerly served at this food court. . . none of the street food appears to my liking, so it’s a quick exit to another makan place nearby. . . plenty of makan shops in this area.

Huge 2-storey market with wide array of choices. Has self-checkout stations. Not many staffs walking around to help assist in shopping. Still recommend this one over the NTUC downstairs at the basement. Queue takes adequate amount of time but never too long. Many available counters at all times. Has roasted whole&halal chicken counter at the 1st level. Is beside Asam Tree and the juice store so perfect if you need a quick snack after a long shopping spree.

This FairPrice has an unusual 2 storey layout, with fresh, chilled and frozen food on the ground floor, canned and dried goods, beverages, household products and toiletries on the second floor, accessible by escalator. There’s also a small pharmacy on the upper floor. This results in a slightly less limited selection of items on the ground floor as compared to the nearby FairPrice in Hougang Mall, but a wider range of products on the second floor. Household products are also less likely to get sold out. Plus: it’s open 24 hours a day. Minus: just 4 checkout counters compared to 12 at Hougang Mall.

Fairprice Kang Kar Mall is a two-storey building that is beside an open-air car park. The mall is predominantly taken up by the 24-hour Fairprice Extra hypermarket (it spans the entire floor space of level 2 and part of level 1). Level 1 consists of some small takeaway eateries and an airconditioned Kopitiam foodcourt.

Ease of entry/exit: Twin-panel automated sliding glass doors for Fairprice at level one for entry. Exit via checkout counters that flow into the adjacent Kopitiam foodcourt
Lifts:
Did not notice any. You access level 2 of the hypermart via a long travellator inclined at a steep angle. Not an exact favourite of mine as I was fairly worried my wheelchair would tip over. Not going up again.

The kopitiam foodcourt at level 1 is easily accessible. Pet peeve is the aircon leak issue, which has remained unresolved for years and sometimes turns the foodcourt into something like a preview of the 18 courts of hell.

24h is always a good thing. However during this covid period do visit the NTUC inside hougang mall instead as they have much more products available there. I went during 3am and most ice cream and chips were out of stock, so I would suggest going to a bigger NTUC during the day.

I was at pork section but I was chased away by your rude female butcher whom speaking in chinese cos it was her lunch time??? I didn’t know NTUC don’t allowed your customer to patronise for buying your stuff cos your butcher is having lunch? But nevertheless, she don’t have to reply me rudely and I haven’t even asked anything. I rather spend money buying frozen meat or go Sheng Siong instead with better customer service.

This Fair Price is in a busy spot where everyone shops for daily essentials. The aisles can be a bit tight or difficult to discern when items are being restocked or moved to make way for seasonal displays. They have a decent fresh fruit and veg selection. Going up the conveyor to the second floor with a grocery cart or stroller is very convenient. There you will find packaged goods, cleaning supplies, baby items and so forth. When you go back to the first floor to the check out stands, be aware they do have self check registers as well as regular registers. Just watch out for sly old aunties who will jump in front of you and smile. You can’t help but laugh and tell them to go right ahead if it’s that important to them. This is a neighborhood kind of place so it is good to have a sense of humor and to be patient when the store is crowded. It will all be okay.
