Better collection of vegetables compared to Fairprice Finest in Kovan. Less crowded and more spacious than the other Fairprice near it.

The usual FairPrice outlet with the typical variety of items including a number of surprisingly well stocked chillers offering poultry and seafood. Even my mom buys fish here. Fun fact: one of the handful of outlets located in a basement, this FairPrice has a lot of cashiers, which partly explains why seniors citizens prefer it to the nearby Kang Kar mall FairPrice.

Again, I realised that same item selling at different price here compared with the 24 hours NTUC at Kangkar mall… for instance the same brand CNY love letters, Kangkar mall NTUC is selling at $4.50 but Hougang Mall NTUC is selling at $4.95… I have absolutely no idea why there is a price difference, and this is not the first time.

Typical Supermarket. Non peak hours Monday to Friday am to before 5pm. Weekends really long Qs crowded. There is another FAIR PRICE nearby open 24hrs few steps away need to go out from this area. Not sure? ask people around you they will guide you.

Probably the most visited Hougang FairPrice due to It proximity to bus interchange and mrt. You can buy also what you need to cook for the week and some household necessities. The vegetable and fruit selection is better than those in Hougang1 and Kangkar Mall. The staff is also friendly. If you need larger selection of can food and bigger household item you need to Kangkar Mall or Hougang1. There is also a lot of self check out counters and normal counters.

Hougang Mall is near my home with a 10minute walk will reach there.Hougang Mall was quite popular will many people shopping around.Outside the mall there is shop selling many different things.Sometimes when i go there to shop, I will buy Waffles spead with peanut butter or wth red bean,kaya chocolate n many other favors.If u are free u can take a walk at Hougang Mall Shopping Center. Used to browse st this fairprice after visiting Trucare Medical n Surgery. Most of fairprice outletd carries same items except for Warehouse at Boon Lay. I luv dis place. They carries Kirkland products n prices are cheaper than the usual fairprice outlets
Still my mall to go to in Hougang, where I can find all the basic necessities I need. If you need groceries at odd hours, just walk over to the 24-hour NTUC at Kang Kar Mall, which is less than a minutes walk from the McDonald’s and KFC entrance at Hougang Mall.

It’s a small shopping mall, but it feels good and convenient. NTUC is very clean and spacious. The trolleys won’t collide with each other. Children can walk with peace of mind. It’s hard to do it in NTUC now!

Amazing Awesome Affordable
I like to notify NTUC of the commendable service I received from a temp worker by the name of Samuel. As a short individual who struggles to reach for the top shelves of ntuc, he was observant enough to come over to pick to biggest set of toilet roll for me. At that point he looked so cool and handsome like something straight out of an oppa in a korean drama. I think with him as a role model ntuc hougang will be a cumulation of big handsome korean oppas

One of my favourite supermarket in singapore. This branch has fresh seafood, and its quite big compare to other fairprice which is small. The only thing is the queue quite long when its night time. They also serve cooked grilled chicken at very affordable price!

About safety concern
On 23 Aug 2019 around 1pm Observed one male cleaner mopping floor without displaying “Wet Floor” sign to alert shoppers. He continued to mop all areas and even not bother to ask excuse from people who are standing they selecting products or queueing at counter to make way for him. This might pose a risk of injury as people may fall down due to slippery floor.
It has almost all the assortment of products and goods to satisfy the shoppers.After 5 pm is the peak hour with long queues on week days. On Saturdays the queues will start earlier as more shoppers will turn up earlier.Sundays is the busies day,could be alot of poeple the whole day.There is a POSB atm for conveniency.Parking is easy within the mall or just at HDB car park near by.Also the Hougang Mrt Stn & Hougang Central Bus Inter change is just a short walk away.

Store looks big but fresh fruit and vegetables area always has only a few packets of leftover items, yellowish leafy vege, overripe tomatoes etc. Frozen food choices are limited. Items on offer are always out of stock, and there is hardly a staff member in the store who you can get help from as all of them need to man the cashiers and/ or the self check-out area.
