10/2022 edit- much more stock variety for quite a few products, even though this is a relatively small store (e.g. compared to Bishan fairprice or Bishan Finest).
7/2022 edit- after the 2022 renovation, the flow at the entrance section is much improved. There also seems to be more varied stock- different and new brands, and more variety, ever since Covid started and affected supply chains. Ntuc seems to be doing a lot of work in the background to ensure supply of their products. Props to the Planning and Buying teams!
5/2010 edit: Larger after the early-2017 renovation, with a larger refrigerated Organic produce area in the front, and self service checkout kiosks in the back which allow for payment by cash, too.
Love the frozen food section, fair selection on frozen meat. Good selection of cheeses. Would appreciate signage to clarify shopping trolleys only take old one dollar or 50 cents coins. Like the Village feel of the area. Easy parking. Choices of food from a handful of restaurants, cafes or takeout outfits.

Pretty small, but offers everything you need in a super market!
Not exactly a fan of the finest outlets under fairprice. Items are priced on the high side. Appreciate the imported varieties such as desserts and wines but daily necessities like vegetables are costly. A whole cauliflower can easily be charged near to ten dollars, a easily near to hundred dollar spent on simple ingredients for a week (with frozen meat, watercress etc). Definitely prefer the normal NTUC if a choice is given.

This place is terrible. Ok, it has its basics. Part of the managers and staff are rude and disrespectful. Treat you as they are your boss. One lady is always grumpy, no matter what.
The store is always out of something.
This time: Pringles and coke zero… Coke Zero for more than 3 weeks now! They do this on purpose because they want you to buy their other stuff that they have in stock. Well NTUC Serangoon Gardens Village… If your customers want Coke Zero, then why do you stock up on Coke and Coke Stevia instead?
Proper staff training for ordering and behavior would get you 5 Stars! But since this has been going on for years, I’m not very confident and will buy my stuff at Nex, has a better selection anyways.
Cozy, neat and clean fairprice finest. Apart from a nasty encounter with a disgruntled employee about 1-2 years ago, I have nothing bad to say about the staff. In fact, the staff in charge politely assisted in a refund / exchange when I showed them the defective product picked up at the store recently.

High price fruits. Pacific Rose and Sugoi Apples all costing 3 for $4-5. And all purchased in these last 2-3 days. Rarely has anything actually necessary in day to day life. The previous outlet that was bigger and stood in its place years ago was way more efficient and catered to the needs of people living here.
My village people need to understand that it’s not just foreigners who want western dishes who live in the area but still predominantly local families who want items that seem to be found at all other outlets except this one and one top of that everything is priced higher than other outlets for no reason.

Most of the time fresh fruits and veggies are not at the “finest” standards… Bought a few boxes of strawberries and most were rotten and mouldy in the centre but were so well hidden in the box. Same for the vegetables.

I like this NTUC mainly because it’s the nearest to my house. But because it’s FairPrice Finest, the instant noodle section is not that great. Good cheese and wine section though, which makes my veeeerry cultured dad very happy. It’ll make you very happy too if you are that sort of person. A lot of self-checkout counters now, good if u want to bag your own groceries and go cashless. The chocolate section is quite lacking tbh but it’s okay because my dad says I’m getting fat. The guys who cut your ham for you at the Culina counter are also a nice bunch

Quality items available, i think some items are priced much higher than their counterparts eg Giant or shenshiong. The staff are good and can find many foreign produces from france and some western countries. Just tends to be long Q whenever i have visited.
