This Finest branch or NTUC fairprice has been here for decades, quite a sizable outlet with wide variety of items. Cleanliness is equivalent to all other finest outlets, friendly staff.
Ok to go for simple stuff
This is open 24 hours which is very convenient since there are not any other supermarkets in its neighbourhood except for Cold Storage. However, despite being Fairprice Finest, the vegetables and fruits collection are not as fresh or as extensive as the Fairprice Xtra outlet at NEX Mall.
Our weekly haunt. Less crowd, fresh, and has everything we usually need for groceries. Shopping here is less stressful than the many other fairprice outlets that are usually crowded. Parking is available just behind it and while it does not have many lots, wet usually don’t have to easier long for a parking lot. After groceries there are few shops nearby for lunch or walk 3min to the hawker center nearer to MRT.

Favourite ntuc outlet to shop at. Sufficient fresh produce and stuff that meets my daily needs. The staff here are also friendly. However sometimes their pricing for the fruits are pretty wrong. What they display may not be what the barcode is tag with.

A 24 hour supermarket operated by NTUC. It is not as complete as I would enjoy shopping for my grocery there . . . they do not have a bakery or butchery at this location.

This Fairprice Finest, though has lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, the collection at the FairPrice Xtra at NEX Mall, Serangoon or at the Hougang Mall Fairprice are much better than what is available here. Otherwise, this shop is well-stocked with all other products usually available in all Fairprice shops.
On weekdays, the shop is less busy, while weekends sees a good crowd.
Located at quite a remote corner in the heartland of the Kovan area, but it is definitely still worthwhile to stop by for groceries. There’s always a decent supply for fresh flowers everyday. And the branch carries a variety of cheese. Staff are very approachable and work at a very fast pace. Recommended!

The staff here are very friendly and helpful, especially their shift leader, Ms Jamailiah, who went the extra mile to help me bring in an offer item which the store doesn’t normally carry, and kept me updated on the order status from time to time. She even promised to request to have that product carried in Kovan branch from now on when I feedback that the options available in that store for similar items are too limited (only Fairprice house brand + one other brand available). Top-notch customer service!

A 24 hour store for groceries..
My favourite go-to Fairprice Finest as it serves a good range of fresh produce and is seldom crowded. The self check out machines here are also better as it lets you pack the groceries straight into your bags instead of doing so over two separate steps as in machines found in other Fairprice/Fairprice Xtra.

It’s a little small for a FairPrice, but they managed to stuff a seafood & fresh meats deli and alcohol area into the place. You’d be able to find what you want most of the time. Manned by a team of wonderful staff full of pride for their jobs.

I find their fresh meat selection a little lacking . Fresh pork selection are quite miserable at times. Management here are quite lacking as I experience all manned counter closing at once when they change shift. Overall most staff here are quite friendly and helpful.

Cramp and not very well organized. It’s supposed to be Finest, not any normal NTUC. Layout and offerings are at best normal.
Contrast that with nearby Cold Storage. Go see for yourself. Vast world of differences.
Of all the NTUC branches we frequent, this is our family’s favourite. I like that it’s close to home, and there’s ample parking right behind it.
To top it all off, this one’s got nicer and more upmarket grocery items than the average NTUC supermart, and if there’s anything we can’t get here, Cold Storage is just around the corner from here

I usually come here late at night when the crowd subsides. It is a few steps away from the nearest carpark and there is a DBS atm right outside.
It’s a basic NTUC however with several deficiencies if you are looking for specific brands or a whole range of products. It serves most grocery needs and is downsized so you can breeze through the aisles. Most people who come here usually have smaller shopping baskets.
Sometimes at night, only one cashier lane is open, so make sure you optimise your shopping list before coming here.

The store is not very big, but you can get most of your groceries at the FairPrice outlet. For example, at Geylang East outlet, I could not find Hershey’s strawberry or chocolate syrup. However, they supply it here. Parking is convenient. You can push your trolley to the car park. There is a pharmacy within the premise. Though, there is no offer of vegetables, under a dollar, but the variety is good. I can get half a pumpkin for under $2.

Has a variety of food stuff including International products section and wide range of cheese and dairy products. Non-foid items section too that sells kitchenware, party ware etc. Helpful to bring in more organic and vegan food products if possible to meet needs of people with a restricted diet.
The aunty dealing with cleaning fish and chopping chicken has attitude issues. It’s the 3rd time I encountered the bad service. She’s simply not interested. Ntuc should send her for customer service upgrading. I ended up leaving without buying any fish.

Most items not replenished for merdakal gen/Mondays before 8am. Such as taupok, sliced fish , no offer for Milo, and oil n fruits are very expensive.

A smallish Fairprice outlet that offers adequate groceries. Also open 24 hours so it’s really convenient. Around 10 to 15 minutes walk from Kovan MRT. There’s also a small pharmacy here. Place also contains self-checkout counters.
