Getting to the fifth floor takes time
Very huge NTUC and alot of varieties. They even sell books for kids, electronics and have the halal section where they sell whole cooked chicken, chicken wings etc. There is a unity inside also, but not much things compared to Unity at Tampines One. Do Expect very long queue even in the weekdays afternoon.
One of the bigger NTUC supermarkets that has a wide variety of groceries, sundries and meat section. One of the cons is that the items are not organised in a systematic manner so you may have to spend a fair amount of time hunting down whatever you’re looking for that’s not generalised on the aisle boards.
It’s open 24/7, and take the entire Level 5 floor space. So, it’s pretty big

Unity cashier aunties are generally negligent. Even there are customers queuing to pay, they just anyhow talk to others. Anyhow ignore customers. Don’t why….
The whole entire level 5 is FairPrice only. Operates 24 hours. When you walk straight from the entrance, there is a Singapore Pools. Unity is located on the left. Here even sells electronic items, flip flop, plants/flower, grill pepper/honey chicken, a section by the window sells $2 items only too. Self checkout counter accepts both card and cash on one of the lane.
It’s always bustling in the day. If I’m free I’ll always go at midnight to avoid the crowd.

The biggest super market in this area, building next to SIMEI MRT station (at level 5) , self checkout desk area are dirty, cleaning frequency or quality have dropped. Try not to use self-check out

Large enough fresh food area but I find the dry food and beverages corner lacking. Somehow it feels just short of a hypermart. I don’t understand why they located the supermarket on the 5th floor of the building. It is so inconvenient to reach the place by escalators or lifts.

You can get almost all the things you need except clothings. However, the only setback is its location. It is located on the 5th floor, and the lifts in the mall are always crowded and superb slow. The consolation is that you can go there anytime, it’s operating hours is 24/7. They also have the self service checkout counters. A plus for quicker service.

It’s on level 5 of East Point shopping centre and it’s really convenient for those who drives with the travelator to the carpark near to the entrance. They carry a wide range of household items and can be found with ease as they are nearly stacked. One of the most important feature in the Eastpoint mall. The main source of the daily necessities provider in the Simei.
Packing area on self checkout very small, no barriers to hold many items, as such one bottle of kaya was pushed & dropped on the floor while packing.
As such i hv to bear the cost of $3.90 for that broken jar of kaya.
If too many items on the packing area, will arrange to pack into fairprice bags, while doing so, screen will warn ( item removed from packing area) , thats how you might break items from there.

One of the largest Fairprice in the eastern of the island.
Just that it is located at the high floor, make it a bit troublesome after our Weekly groceries shopping.
May be the mgt of the mall thought to pull shoppers to the top floor, but residents there only take lifts to that particular floor and take lift leave the floor.
Nevertheless, it is still one of the best Fairprice outlet.

A major mall in Simei, you can get most of the stuff you need for day to day needs. Lots of food choices, but some of the spaces are a bit small to walk. There’s a huge supermarket on level 5 as well to get anything you need.
Open 24 hours. Layout a bit confusing if you’re unfamiliar with the place. Price of some items are missing. Use self checkout at left to avoid long checkout lines – easy unless you have very light items such as seeds.

Lots of things to buy and its 24 hours. However, except for seafood which u can get cheaper price from wet market with bigger size or more quantities but still, a nice place esp if u need to buy things in the middle of the night.
Can buy all groceries. Indian specific groceries are limited. Can buy chicken, fish, beef.
Convenient and well stocked
A fairly big NTUC which is 24hours, offering a good variety of food we needed and they have very friendly staff who are willing to help.
You get most of the household needs here. Quite crowded in peak hours.
A very very good option and value for money. Available at multiple places across Singapore, fair price is a behemoth much like on the lines of Walmart of US, and you will find fresh options most of the times.

Lovely spot , beautiful community garden. Nice 7-eleven too. Just nice proximity to the MRT and Eastpoint.
Good that it’s open 24 Hrs. Not so good that it’s located on the 5th floor. The mall’s lifts are often jammed packed with supermarket trolleys. So getting there and leaving means running around in circles taking the escalators floor to floor.
