Regular neighborhood super market
For years the management did not change the layout of the store. Not very easy to move around and goods are misplaced all over the place. Hope they can change the layout and improve the lightning.

Good to walk-in for all ur domestic needs
Staff are quite friendly. Don’t like the fact that fruits are all packed, consumers don’t get to choose or buy the amount that one needs. Also dont like that the smaller sized plastic bags are placed at the self-checkout counters. If one needs a bigger one, have to go ask the manned counters for it.

Live plants at dire state based on my weekly visit to the store. The soils and other related to plant products located at one end to the other end, making it much more frustrating to shop at this particular outlet. Too much things displayed at the cold and fresh produced aisle, struggling to move around even though with just a basket. Store layout need to improve.

Since I often go in and go shopping when I pass by, I know where to look for everything I want to buy, so I don’t think there is anything special to say. It’s just that it would be great if you could add roast pork in the department that sells roast chicken. I love grilled meat.

A good size supermarket for the neighbourhood and visitors of downtown east. It is crowded during lunch and dinner hours especially on weekends. Plenty of car parks and eateries around the outlet.

NTUC SEEMS TO BE GETTING MORE AND MORE PRICES. LET ME JUST TAKE ONE SIMPLE ITEM LIKE JAPANESE OSK GREEN TEA. THEY SELL AT $5.50 PER BOX AS COMPARED TO GIANT OUTLET AT $5.00 PER BOX OF 50 BAGS. ALL OTHERS ITEMS I DON’T LIKE TO HIGHLIGHT, I EVEN HAD TO CANCELLED MY NTUC MEMBERSHIP. EVERY MONTH I NEED TO PAY THEM $9 AND FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER I HAD TO PAY $18.ON YEARLY BASIS IS MORE THAN $100 PER ANNUM. TO BE FAIR TO NTUC, WHO GIVE YOU YEARLY REBATE, ESPECIALLY PEOPLE LIKE ME FOR $53 TO $56 PER ANNUM. I AM NOT A GREAT BUYER. I FOUND WORSE THAN CREDIT CARDS COMPANIES. I ALSO DON’T SEE ANY LOGIC AT ALL. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION.

Good groceries shopping, just need to top up items faster
A very disappointing trip to NTUC, went to the deli section. Was told no service available as the lady there said that all her cutting apparatus were washed and only those shown in the counter as as available. It wasn’t even 9pm, and she was all ready to get home. Went on to try shopping for what we need, but no mushrooms, poor selection of potatoes… in the end left empty handed, and got all we needed from SS….. 2 stars, because it only looked good, no service staff.

It’s a decent. Has most of what you’d need. Couldn’t get Balsamic vinegar in my last visit there though so I was a little bummed. That’s my only (tiny) gripe right now.

There are a lot of varieties of fresh products. Eggs, grapes and frozen food are plenty. Ppl buying in bulk cos stricter restractions are happening tomorrow. Keep stock for few days or weeks ahead to have peace of mind.

I’ve been going to this NTUC for years. It’s not as big as the one at Tampines Mall and the aisles are slightly narrower but this place is always clean and well-organized. Everything is labelled clearly and I really like the efficiency of being able to do self-checkout. There are both card and cash options for self-checkout so you can skip the long lines anytime.

There are many items you can buy there. The queue was overall quick, and the food is fresh. There are some specefic things that you cannot find there.
Near to home to buy ur daily groceries & tolietries at an affordable and cheap price. Whatever brand u are looking for they have it, but of course if u are looking for more specific kind they might not have it. Wide range to choose from including their own home brand. Perfect for families amd also for gatherings tat you are planning.

Magazinul de unde ma aprovizionam, bine garnisit cu de toate dar seara si in zilele libere cozi greu de suportat. Statie de taxi la iesire, din nou cozi. Se pare ca pe ei, ori nu-i deranjeaza, ori isi ascund extrem de bine frustrarile( parca as opta pentru varianta a doua)

Fairprice items mostly more expensive than Sheng Siong and heRtland shops. Bought seaweed at Sheng Siong $3.50 normal price (promo $3) but NTUC was at $4. Pantene shampoo more than $11 at NTUC but heartland shops $5.40 to $5.80 only.

Should open up more “pay by card/cash” self pay counter. Currently, out of about 10 self pay counters, only 2 can use cash to pay. The rest all pay by cards only. This would create more waiting time & long queue.
