Most of the esso outlets that I’ve visited are only average at best in terms of the service. However, this outlet is one of the better ones I’ve encountered thus gonna leave this review to allow the team here to be more motivated to serve customers better.
Other than price differentiation in petrol, think the next level is to have friendly and approachable staff at the petrol kiosk as well as at the pumps. Enjoyed visiting this particular one, keep it going! Lovely service

Good service for petrol pump
After a brief closure for renovation, was expecting some major upgrades and refurbishment especially where consumers shopping are concerned. Unfortunately nothing seemed to have changed other than some electronic fuelling stations. A bit of a let down as I was much impressed with the other Esso station farther down jurong west which boasts of better amenities and quality prepared food items.
Consider it as a refueling stop, with convenience shopping and an ATM available within.
Update (1 Dec 2017): they finally upgraded it a little. Added a shelf of ready cook meals, a self collect postal box service, and better lighting. Giving it 4 stars now.

However, always check with pump attendants on actual pump station number before payment at cashier.
The diesel pump has a different pump station number even though they are side by side the petrol ones.
Fast service. Less waiting time
As a nearby resident I find it very convenient to grab my supper from this place when the coffee shops and hawker center across the road close after 9pm. There’s also a DBS ATM to withdraw cash from, and a lot of ready-to-eat takeaways if you’re not into heating up cup noodles or microwave food.
If you’re driving in, there’s a way to enter from all sides of the road. There’s an easy left if you’re on the way to Jurong Town Hall Rd, a right if you’re coming from there, and one directly across if you’re coming from the multistory carpark (which is the hardest way to enter if you ask me). There’s a lot of pumps available and it’s not too difficult to occupy one during peak hours unlike the one at Jurong West Street 42.
