Great place to shop for all the leading brands of the world
I hardly attend arts performances or concerts here. My visits have been to the branch of national library here on level 3 because i want to borrow DVDs &/ Bluray discs to watch at home.
The collection is definitely impressive but i dont have a player that gives me that kind of mileage needed. Because NLB works very hard to procure discs marketed in different regions but my player can only handle region code 1.
I am still considering paying to rent the player and TV on site to watch those discs which i cannot play at home. But the charges dont make economic sense to me! Hourly rental rates are almost cineplex admission prices.

One of the best mall of singapore with lot of options like light show over building, theatre by the bay, photoshoot points with iconic location, food centres, shopping shops, theatre , etc.

Probably one of the nicest buildings as it integrates the theaters and a mall. Hopefully profitability don’t force them to change this place too much.
Was eating at The Malayan Council. Food is very decent but pricey. $32 for Fish & Chips is too high for that quality. BUT THEY MAKE IT UP WITH THEIR DESSERTS!!!!!!

Love going here to chill. Place is very cooling and chill to relax after a busy week or smth. There’s bars nearby and food too. The toilets are also nice!

Great place to dine, hang-out and chill because it’s quite near to different concert halls like Theaters by the Bay. Although this mall is quite small, you can still find lots of dining options here and drinking spots. There are also lots of food stall near the bay where you can grab a quick drink, fries or burgers.

This mall is extremly cold, the aircondition seem kinda “Powerfull”. Especially the library, even more colder. Like a freezer, if you stay longer abit, you become freeze.

Was there on Christmas day which happened to fall on Sunday. Huge crowd with New creation church having service there. Car park jammed when exiting but staff was quick to direct cars out quickly to ease off the jam. All restaurants were fully booked on that day. Probably better to visit this place over week days

The Esplanade Mall is just as famous as the building it occupies. Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay is a premier performing arts venue, but it’s also a center for dining, shopping, and cultural activities that keep you delighted and inspired with each performance, store, and area. There is something for everyone in this area, including specialty shops, a wide variety of dining options, intriguing visual arts exhibitions, daily free performances, and a breathtaking perspective of the city skyline.
A really nice stop, with AC blasting, to catch some arts, the library, great views, and a wander outside by the Mermalade (Merlion). Just don’t try to grab a taxi outside without the Grab app on a rainy day, and at LEAST a local number, or you can forget it. No cab will come to save you . And beware of the underground MRT station – even if you just need a $1 ticket, it’s a $10 minimum for the pleasure.

Update: Heard there’s a tenant of the closed space which is a restaurant named Orgo, and its website currently states Opening at Q4 2022, extended from Q2 2022 as captured in my photo. The area has been closed since 2019 for their renovation works.

N. B. If you need to back your book you can do it at the library in Esplanade mall, but if you need books for your little one – visit nearest library to your home.

Besides the theater and concerts, the few struggling food outlets and occasional free lunchtime gigs, the place is quiet and dignified.
Better to visit in the evenings when the outdoor attractions like the Makansutra and alfresco bistros are less sun drenched. If you are lucky, you may even watch a free gig by some local groups.
One thing is for sure: you can enjoy the pararomic view of the Singapore Skyline.

Chanced upon this restaurant and amazed by the food. John was very helpful and recommended the pesto prawn pizza and handmade squid ink pasta by their Chef Richard which we enjoyed very much. Will definitely come back again.

Was there at Esplanade on 10th September yesterday, it was packed with people awaiting for the night fall scenery and busking in the cool breeze that swept through us .MBS was just across together with the other iconic buildings forming up a beautiful piece of landscape picture.

Overlooking the promenade across the wade of the Marina Bay opposite Marina Sands, the Esplanade Mall is a white swarth of washed marble. A delightful cacaphony of bright lights and laser sounds cut across the evening as the twilight falls along the Marina.
