The best and most honest workshop! Been going there for years! Highly recommended. You’re losing out if you still haven’t been there.
1) messaged them late in the evening. They responded!
2) got there, Edwin looked at the problem (compressor needed replacement, which I expected). Described on paper the numbers from the freon measurement device to show me the facts. Have an estimate. Said it would take 1 hour.
3) got a message 40 min later. All done! Raining… so he said he will pick me up!
4) all done. Replaced the whole compressor and paid in 45 min!
5) now. The Singaporean question. Price. Fabulous even without the service! Was very very reasonable and zero hidden charges!
1000% recommended. If I could give 7*. I would!

Recommended by brother after visiting various other workshops that required many days and high prices for cooling coil leak. Edwin Garage did the complicated task of removing the Qashqai’s dashboard and changed coil+condenser+valve within half a day and at less than other quotes. Amazed at their professionalism, politeness and detailed assessment. Aircon is fabulous now and not a sound or creak from the dashboard. They also polished and touched up old grazes on the Qashqai without charge. Highly recommended – peace of mind that you will not be cheated and that your vehicle will be in good hands. Also sent my sister-in-law’s old Mazda for checks and they topped up the engine coolant as well as made an assessment – again without charge – as the car is up for scrap in a few months’ time.

5 star service from a 5 star crew. Boss Edwin is a competent and honest mechanic who strives to give honest advice. Prices are also very reasonable and without GST. Not surprised that his business is now booming bit do note that this also means that waiting time could be an issue unless you make a reservation.

No gimmicks and purely business professional decent chaps. On 08 November, I brought my Toyota Altis there to check on a Sunday evening as there was a transmission problem after pasting solar film. After awhile, they found the water soaking in the engine control unit. They did not complain although it was really hard to pinpoint where is the water issue. My car was nearly scrapped but they managed to find the issue and suck out the water and charge me a very reasonable price (below 50).

Accidentally scratched the door, and sent it in the afternoon. The maintenance staff reached 11:30 in the evening and picked up the car the next afternoon. Thank you Edwin Garage for fixing my dad’s car’s aircon once and for all. Within 2022, my dad brought the car to JB in attempt to fix the aircon but the fixes were all temporary because the technician misdiagnosed the issue.
I took it to Google to find a car workshop that had a good reputation with aircon repair and found Edwin Garage. They exceeded my expectations by slotting me in the same day itself because they knew I had a trip to Malaysia the next day. I dropped it off at 5 pm and they managed to get it done before 9 pm. They took a few minutes and diagnosed the issue to be malfunctioning cooling coil and proposed to replace it. Price was reasonable and all the technicians including Edwin were amicable and friendly.
I will definitely recommend them and visit them for future services!

Went there to check on my aircon, the staffs were so professional and asked if my car was warranty. Once I said yes, they immediately expressed their concerned that helping fix the car may void the warranty. However, they still help me to check and found that the compressor had some issue, which will cost a bit more than just normal topping up of gas. They proposed for me to go back to agent as it was under warranty. Simply professional.

Had a foul smell coming from air con and thought that it’s from the air con compressor. I was lucky to send in to Edwin on time after a few days and found that it’s my battery pack already gone . Upon removing my old one , the battery pack was bloated and some smoke coming out , so it’s said that I was lucky to find out on time else how will happen ? Professional service from the team.

Process is very smooth – Just WhatsApp to Edwin with the pictures of what you want to do, he will always give you the most competitive quote around. I saw that Edwin Garage had a lot of gd online reviews. Still I was a bit hesitant the first time as I thought they may not have much experience with Volvo cars but I was wrong.

Been here twice for repair of bodykit and requested to help to check any other parts not feeling well to be honest i was slightly doubting that there might have somethings need to be replaced but ended up edwin and team members told me truthfully that actually everything is alright theres nth to change and i still asked them like really nth damage ? Literally quoted and got a replacement cover for my side mirror within a day. Went down in the evening and he fixed it within 10 mins. Super honest and reliable- only quoted me $90 and didn’t even charge for labour. Other places actually quoted me up to $800 for the very same service. Definitely recommend Edwin’s honest and quick services! His workers are also very pleasant and kind.

He quickly solved my leaking radiator (in 2nd pic), and replaced my aircon condensor (for cheaper and only 1hr downtime). Can’t believe other ws quoted more expensive and longer downtime (3 days??).

Was not asked to do review, but service was top notch, I just had to. Boss Edwin runs the shop smoothly, tends to all customers waiting, and shows very clearly he is humble, professional, and knowledgeable.
He quickly solved my leaking radiator (in 2nd pic), and replaced my aircon condensor (for cheaper and only 1hr downtime). Can’t believe other ws quoted more expensive and longer downtime (3 days??).
I think this will be my go-to workshop for any big servicing and repairs. No regrets.
He even top up my engine oil 3l and didn’t charge me out of good will. Ws may get busy at times, but I really see his team work very fast when I was there. Remember to book appointment.
Magnificent, this is the best and highly recommend to any car owner who needs to repair or service their car or 2nd opinion. My 5y Vezel experienced aircon not cold, start stop problem at slope and a rattle sound. I hesitated to change the aircon cooling coil as it was still cold. Edwin convinced me to change and he even cleaned my throttle to solve the start stop problem. There were many little things he value added to my Vezel. Now, my Vezel car driving experience is very smooth. Every cent well spent here.

Recently my old car aircon suddenly not cold and I go straight to Edwin. On reaching his workshop it packed with cars. But he immediately help me to check it out and suspect likely might be a gas leak. He top up the aircon gas and my car aircon is back to normal again. He ask me to monitor further and go back to him if not cold again. Fyi, he offer that gas top up for free to me. Was so grateful for his tip top services.
Today was a holiday and luckily they are operating. My car aircon is not cold again so I go straight to Edwin again. Yet again he immediately check it out and this time he detected leaking at a valve. He immediately have it replaced and top up gas for me. I too complain that my car is having lot of vibration and he have it check out and do a engine flush and fine tune my engine for me. Everything completed in half an hour and my car is back to normal again. Greatly appreciates for him and his team on their excellent services. Highly recommended on all his services.

As per what others have mentioned, no hard selling.
Went there by chance for gas refill & after checking was inform that the AC compressor need to be replaced (last replaced done 5yrs ago) & also condenser+cooling coil+valve.
These were all done within 4hrs upon collection, the mechanic even give additional advice on other stuff to take note off. Overall, very professional & reasonable price. Do make an appointment before heading down & they are OFF on Tuesday.

I would say that I am rather pleased with the overall experience. Pricing is reasonable and services straight to the point. Will definitely return for next servicing.
I read the Edwin Garage reviews and it had 5 stars, all good reviews. I decided to try it out. The young man whose in charge is very polite, efficient and knowledgeable. The mechanics were the same. I am happy with the work and their service. The charges are reasonable. Do call in advance because the business are good and garage are very busy.
Very impressive, was there before they close. Replaced front and rear brake pad within an hour and price was reasonable despite a walk in new customer. Some shop may shoot up the price because of your sudden present. Well done and may your business do well forever.

Was looking to change my faulty absorber. Saw good review about this shop. Edwin replied fast and explained the different type of absorber. Dealing via whatsapp was great. Price was competitive. The reviews are true.
My appt was at 6pm. Reached at 545pm and was immediately serve as i have an appt. The team was friendly, showing me there is a rest room for customers. When you see the staff happily chatting with one another, you know it has a great workshop culture.
Changing of absorber was done in an 1hr. Fast and efficient. Keep up the great service.
Visited the workshop in the middle of December, air-con gas has ran out, luckily they were open on a Sunday so I visited them. Thankfully they were not packed and they were very nice to move out a car so that they can help me to diagnose the problem and top it up.
Now comes the not so enjoyable part of the experience, during the part where they were running tests to determine what the problem was, the senior mechanic told me there was a leak in my air-conditioning system, said that my cooling coil is leaking and even if I were to top up the gas the system will leak and I will get hot air blowing in my face within the next 1-2 days.
Fast forward one month, my air-con is still working fine, maybe a bit less colder than when it was just topped up but nothing unbearable. I understand the system may be leaking and it is not about the cost of replacement but I think it is very dishonest to exaggerate the problem to this extent. Take everything the workshop says with a pinch of salt, get a second opinion if the problem is not urgent.
Was googling for workshops that specialise in air-conditioning (AC) since the AC was malfunctioning blowing hot and cold air intermintently . Managed to find Edwin Garage and read the good reviews. Decided to give a try. My car was looked into upon arrival. The mechanics were fast. Edwin is knowledgeable and shared with me what caused the problem. He is not pushy and tells what needs to be changed in the first instance, so at least we can make an informed decision. Prices were affordable (inclusive of labour), unlike other workshops that I felt were overcharging. The procedure took an hour or so to change the compressor, condenser and valve. Prior to this visit, i had whatsapped the main number and my queries were answered promptly. Surprisingly fast. Thanks for the speedy service once again.
Mechanic open on Sat and Sun weekends which is good point. But maybe mechanic too rush for many job due to too many customer until forgot the basics. Mechanic hands are black and oily due to greasy, oil and other thick carbon residue. Fingerprints at car front and side. Didnt bother to remove these stubborn stains before handing car back over to customer. These stubborn stains cannot be removed by simple water or soap water. Pictures as proof. I thought the oil stains can remove by wet tissue or use cloth and soap water so I initially ignore, I was wrong. Fingerprints already heated up and dried up and imprinted on the car paint, cannot wipe away. As service provider, mechanic should have some professionalism not to stain the car with greasy stubborn finger prints. I not so bo liao to grease up my fingers and frame mechanic shop. There is no where else to have such oily fingerprints except from a workshop in such a short time frame. HDB multi storey carpark where got people walk around putting black, oily fingerprint to stain cars at random
Also , car most probably got scratched at workshop by tools but mechanic act blur. When I SMS them to explain why car so badly scratched from workshop tools, I receive a reply saying that it could be NTUC trolley that scratched my car which didnt make sense. No where else will have this kind of jagged , treading marks . I checked that the height of the scratch from bottom of tyre is not same height as NTUC trolley metal guard. Also, it is not a straight scratch, but jagged. NTUC trolley is straight horizontal at the sides. The scratches direction are diagonal, they are not straight and horizontal. Car was only at 2 places. HDB multi storey carpark and 1 school then spotted these funny observations. Both locations have low probability of people with oily greasy fingerprints touching my car or jagged tools with tread marking.
My advice to anyone is, make sure both parties note the condition of the car before handing and taking over to/workshop. If got new damage, rectify immediately. If 360 degree view is blocked, move the car out and check 100%. If your car dirty with greasy fingerprint stains, tell them to remove immediately, mai pai seh. If got scratch, immediately clarify. I go other workshop like ANTZ automobile , I didnt experience like this
*update 24 Jan 2021 ( a long time after 3 star shop review) – Shop had implied something and rhetorically questioned my motive for review and including another shop name. I am just a personal car owner with no affiliation to any car mechanic. I have been to other workshops like Caps Auto and I did not receive such problem.
Mechanic response did not support how it was considered as an NTUC trolley scratch. The height dont match and the markings dont match. Even though works was only done at front of car, it does not mean the other 3 corners are not exposed to the environment and other things. Why would anyone go around with black oily fingerprints to self-sabotage own car?
After works, the car was parked at the neighbouring shop unit with its back facing the closed door. There was no way to see the damage at the back. Just because the SMS or review is late does not mean it was discovered much later. It could mean the person is busy. There are too many info to include in this review.
But constructively, for all car owners, please check your car with shop rep during Handing and Taking over to avoid misunderstanding. Mechanics should make it a point not to leave stubborn stains on car. It will be very hard to remove when imprinted.

Car had an accident in the morning, sent my car in to assess the damage done and get the cost required in the afternoon, repair was done the next day, expected it to be done at least by sunday! You might question the quality of work done, but rest assured, work is done very nicely.
Pricing is good and owner explains the job that has to be done clearly.
Will definitely recommend everyone to go over.

Was experiencing aircon problem in my car. Went to three different workshops which topped up gas and two of them quoted between 1k to 4k to repair. One told me aircon is ok. But I had to top up gas every week. Due to CB I kept topping up gas every week. Finally I found out about Edwin Garage via Internet. Edwin checked the aircon and filled some green liquid to trace the fault using ultra violet light.
Also topped up gas. It has been 3 weeks now. No more issue with the aircon. Will visit him again this week to check source of leakage. Very trustworthy and professional service. Thank you Edwin.

1st impression: Very established and reliable booking system for servicing. Didn’t have to wait for many days for the physical servicing schedule once booking is made online.
I2nd impression: it was my bad luck that my car broke down on 1st day of Lunar New Year. So i texted via the whatsapp no. and less than 3 minutes a reply with the contracted Tow servcing and instruction. Seamless procedure.
3rd Impression: On the evening of 2nd day of Lunar New Year, Edwin personally texted me that he could resolved my car technical issue temporary yet safely for me to use till his workshop is scheduled to open after LNY period. Kudos to him that he bothers to disrupt his holiday to rectify my vehicle such that I still have some form of transport to use amid the long holidays.
4th Impression: His meticulous diagnostic and recommended solution is truthful and genuinely, with the thoughts of making sure his customers time & money deserved to be spent wisely. If I were to send my car back to the authorised agent, it would confirmed + chop be 300% to 400% more than I have footed to Edwin Garage. Last but not least the amount of time I have saved at Edwin’s Garage is a marginal if it was to be done at agent.
Called them to consult about aircon smell after a garage repair. They didn’t hard sell and gave me some advise instead. Guess these are real honest folks there?
I am super impressed and satisfied with Edwin and his team. Based on what they did for my car they are obviously very skillful, but more importantly I feel they are genuine and honest, despite having many customers.
I damaged the entire area around my left rear wheel by driving into a pillar during a tight left turn. Texted Edwin and he gave me a very reasonable quote promptly based on photos I sent. Sent in my car in the evening on the same day and Edwin managed to reinstate my car to its original condition within two days.
Look, I know there were at least two occasions he could have increased his price to me, but he didn’t. He essentially disproved the cynicism we all have about car workshops who’d chop your carrot head whenever given a chance to. Moreover, his turn around time was the fastest out of the three workshops I enquired with.
Having to get my car fixed is the unpleasant consequence of damaging my car (self-inflicted makes it even more sian), but thankfully I had a very pleasant and hassle free experience with Edwin and his team. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for auto related services.

The car had an aircon problem. First time using Edwin Garage, and the experience was good. I was given an online appt booking link to book. Easy to use appt form.
The mechanics took only about 5 mins to diagnose the problem and another 15 mins to repair the AC’s relay fault and flush the AC system.
Just have my cooling coils change within 30min. Very fast n service is good. Keep up with your good work. Will definitely come back again.

First time using Edwin’s garage services after reading all the positive reviews. Edwin attended to me personally. Upon checking he said it was an internal leak problem and needed to change the cooling coil. He initially topped up the gas and ask me to try it out as he was not sure how bad the leakage was. But within 1 day I had to bring the car back as the aircon was blowing hot air again. He changed the cooling coil for me and aircon is working very well now. Charges were reasonable as compared to bring it back to cycle & carriage. Will definitely come back again for my regular car servicing.

Went to Edwin Garage this evening, to check on my Odyssey RB3 as this car had this clunking sound at the front. Wasnt sure what/where was the sound coming from. Went to few workshop earlier and had them check on my car. However, none could get to find where the clunking sound come from. Luckily, a friend of mine recommended me to Edwin Garage. I had them check and in less than ten minutes, and WOW! they knew where was the problem coming from. They quickly rectify and replace the component. And in 2 hours, they are done with the repairs. A very efficiently and effectively run workshop that provide excellent quality service, unlike many workshops which resort to unscrupulous means to rip customers. Edwin Garage will advise you to change parts if it is absolutely necessary.
Since 1977, I have been a car owner and none of the workshops (no matter how “popular”) cannot compare with Edwin’s in terms of price, quality and customer satisfaction. Try it, you will never regret. I first went to Edwin (based on my son’s recommendation in 2010) and never went to other workshop again. My friends who went there, are very satisfied with pricing, quality of service and efficiency (1 servicing takes less than 45min). Be forewarned- book in advance to avoid disappointment, though unannounced turn up may make you wait for 2 hours or more.

EDIT (27/08/2021) : went for my 2nd visit, very detailed team, however when i brought my own spark plugs which recommended by the Vezel group in facebook, i was immediately shot down by one of the mechanic that quickly claim, this one not original, u use your engine in future will have problem. When i say, vezel group recommend, he quickly say, you want i can put for u, but i tell u sure got problem.
2ndly when i brought my own filter, i felt that Edwin did not communicate to the team well, quickly say, u bring own filter i have to charge u additional $10, but Edwin mentioned in whatsapp that it’s free.
the spark plug incident, left me a bitter taste on whether i should patronize to his workshop again.

My aircon had a problem.sometimes hot sometimes cold. Came across Edwin Garage through Google reviews and decided to go down to let him take a look on a Sunday(thank god they open on Sunday).
Checked and recommended to do a aircon servicing ($70) and after that, my aircon issue so far has been fixed. No longer have that stale smell of hot air. Staff are friendly and gives good advice to your car too.
Overall a very satisfactory experience, will return for servicing to try out.
