To eat again at any time
Zum essen jeder Zeit wieder
Not very cheap
Free parking.
Simple comfort food.
Value for $.
But the airconditioning has broken for quite some while.
Place is super stuffy n warm.
Eatery deco is also quite run down.
It’s so good that this place opens 24 hours!
Food is nicee.. a quiet place to go for late night makan
The food is fine, but the service processes are very poorly optimized. Each counter staff is supposed to do everything, resulting in them being confused who should do what. Prepared my noodles then realized none of them were preparing drinks, wasting my time waiting again for drinks, which cause me to miss my bus, wasting another 15 minutes of my time.
Had a pleasant breakfast there after one round brisk walk at the foot of Bukit Timah hill
A great n not so expensive place to eat that are operating 24/7, after a long hike at the popular Rail Corridor.
The coffee is diluted
Nice meepok dry.
Just hungry
就是肚子饿了不怕没得吃
Food is nice.
24 hrs outlet at railway mall
For those who live veg…
$4.50 for chicken cutlet curry rice, $5.30 for pork belly curry rice. Chicken curry rice OK, about the same as other Eat outlets. Pork belly was a bit tough and bland. Plate was very sloppily put together considering there weren’t many customers in the queue.
Always love their fried carrot cake and fish ball Mee pok! Is 24hrs.
Excellent place for traditional Chinese food and Hakka abacus seeds
Yummy …
Don’t even accept paywave / Paynow. Only cash and shopeepay. Super inconvenience
Very rude service by the cashier lady who didn’t understand my order in English. Asking for my money very rudely …
Food not that cheap. Food taste average. If you order don’t bother to add hum. It’s $1 and you don’t even see it because it’s so little and so small. There’s charges for takeaway too if you’re not planning to eat there.
Cashier was not polite. Food was ok.
Yummy …
Local food, quiet ambience at rail mall. Open 24 hours
Superb place to eat the carrot cake… Few places serve the taste anymore. The taste of their other food items are also very consistent. Downside is there are limited seats due to covid regulations. Hence be prepared for a wait if there is a queue.
Newly air conditioned and foods remain the same taste
A bit out of the way standalone “mall” that’s just a row of shophouses.
The dry noodle taste much better, and the lobak is crispy and delicious to bite.
Hang out spot
Lepak spot
Decent tasting noodles, one of the cheaper ways to fill your stomach at Rail Mall
One of my favourite supper spots for simple noodles fares with a reasonable price .
Simple pleasant place to satisfy your midnight cravings for Bak chor mee or laksa or even fish ball noodles. It’s opened 24hrs and the food is good enough for supper satisfaction.
Good food selections, local and western cuisine .
There’s a bar as well and CBTL to chill as well.
When it comes to Lor Mee, this is my place to go at night. Quick, no fuzz and lots of ingredients. Although in consistent with vinegar and also at some time, the gravy is too thick, overall it is still very thirsty. Won’t go wrong with this.
I like the Laksa
Comfort food, sold at reasonable prices. Give the Prawn Dumpling noodles a try if you haven’t, it’s one of the best in their menu.
I know electricity is expensive but to turn off the aircon is too much. So hot and stuffy while eating there today!
24 hours services. Average food and would be better if there are friendly staffs.
Love the fish cake & winter melon tea
Normal noodle and rice food store. Reasonable price
A good pit stop after cycling. Quite spacious and empty usually. There are two tables outside that is suitable for cyclist to dine and yet park the bikes within sight. Food wise it’s decent but not great. The curry in my pork rice was quite gelatinous (likely due to poor proportion of tapioca flour). There are other EAT branches that are better. Nonetheless still a decent pit stop and it’s 24hours open.
Found hair in chicken chop curry rice. Mediocre taste for its price
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
FISHBALL Noodles Soup
Lor Mee
Eating since 1999
Love the laksa though there are the times they run out of cockles!!!
Discovered their fresh prawn dumplings today! Was so good that I had to have a second helping! …
Nothing to eat in the middle of the night, this is the place to go
Great place to go when you suffer from those midnight supper hunger pangs. Go for the local street dishes like laska, fishball noodles, satay beehoon, minced meat noodle, pork chop curry rice etc.
Service is fast but don’t expect ultra friendliness from the crew. I’ll live with it ….so long as its not downright rude.
Good food, good pricing.
Comfortable and cosy eating place that operates 24 hours. EAT is within walking distance from Hillview MRT, along Rail Mall. Place is clean. Queue at times may be overwhelming for a Sunday morning when there is a sudden influx of people, but should be generally alright at most times. The fish ball soup was good. Fish balls were soft. Soup wasn’t too oily or salty. Reasonably priced.
A bit more expensive than other outlets. No coupons from shoppee
I haven’t tried everything on the menu but their carrot cake is my all time favourite
Smaller due to space constraints. Normally you’ll have a queue during peak meal times. Counter usually manned by only 2 pax so may hv to wait a bit during that time..
Usual ba chor mee and laksa. Open 24 hours which makes it a good place to satisfy your hunger pangs.
Nice bowl of Laksa. Need to be lucky to find seats and parking.
Fast, good and cheerful service
By belt
By pas
Quiet place for cheap eats
Good Laksa and fisball noodle
Great place for good variety of cheap eats. Also a good quiet place to work on laptop
Food ok but service attitude needs improvement
24 Hours shop and good to chill out at night with friends and coffee.
Come here for late night eats when you are hungry, food is average fare for a 24hrs standard
Average plate of curry rice at $4.50
Ordered the lor mee and curry rice. Great midnight takeaway on grab. They often have midnight promotions on grab. The portion of meat is actually surprisingly good although the portion of the noodles and rice were smaller than expected. Really enjoyed the food, great supper place and food. Not the best food or supper place but would order again.
Update: Dec 2022
Cockles seemed to have gone missing again. Not sure if it’s temporary, permanent or one off event.
Update: Feb 2021
Eat has brought back the cockles to their laksa. Added back one star.
Dec 2020
Great tasting bak chor noodles, fried carrot cake, satay bee hoon, hokkien lor mee and laksa. Their side dishes like Fried Chicken Wings, Fish Balls/Cake, Fried Bean Curd (Tau Kee) and etc… are all very nice.
However, due to recent cost cutting measures, they don’t serve laksa with cockles anymore! What a terrible management mistake at cutting out the single more important ingredient in a bowl of good traditional laksa! Traditions should be built upon, not lost! Deducted 2 stars for the loss of our dear cockles! It warms the cockles of my heart!
Nice food
Chicken wings n carrot cake taste good
Neighbourhood place.
Food is OK. Service sucks… Staffs having customer service problem. Think should be going back for recourse.
Really love coming to this place for late night suppers. To be honest I don’t get why people are giving such low ratings. Seats are always available during off peak periods and the service of the staff have definitely improved over the past few years. Price is also reasonable for the food quality and quantity.
auntie was friendly laksa was good meepok was also good
If theres another place for supper at bukit panjang , this place definitely will not be a place to come again.. toilet has being down for a long time like 3 months.. order and paid for the food with extra chicken wing and ask to wait for awhile like 10mins to cook but end up 20 mins later ask them again then start processing my order..
My favourite favourite EAT branch, favourite place for bak chor mee.
The chicken cutlet curry rice is amazing as well, such thick and creamy curry.
Also the white carrot cake has to be one of the best, like legit I’m not even sure why nobody knows about it.
Eat railmall has got to be one of the places I frequent again and again lol
Decent food good price
I like the bee hun soup with fish ball.
Eat tohu is my favourite food.taste good.
I been here many times but mostly mornings, coming here at night the staffs from China (from their accent) are rude and they will scream at you and there is quite a crowd here even at 9pm. Plus there are confusing queue when collecting food, one line is for ordering another while the other is for collection, there is one customer ahead of me keeps walking around the shop not collecting his food and I ended up collecting his order as the bowl of already cooked noodles hasn’t been collected after a few minutes and it looks like my order, ended up the staffs screaming at me for my mistake. Food is average, there seriously need to have a numbering system so as to not confuse customers.
Big portion and delicious pork belly with rice, curry sauce, veggies and egg.
Good for quick bite before heading the trail.
friendly staff and good food. carrot cake (black) is recommended is u like sweet food! their meepok is also nice!
Cheap and nice restaurants
tasting noodles.
Best laksa in singapore. Love the fried beancurd roll in the laksa.
Food and service Standard dropped so much over the years. I see many patrons not finishing their food. 2 customers feedback their ngoh hiang was cold and uncooked while I was waiting. When my food was ready, the lady in-charge asked the cook to slow down my order and give to the person she knew queuing behind me instead. The lady worked the longest in EAT rail mall. Need to work on improving service standards.
Not bad for a neighbourhood eatery (see what I did there)
Great meal in the middle of nowhere dungeon forest.
A lifesaver
Above average food, had the handmade fish dumplings and it way amazing! But not best ive tasted. Perfect meal after a morning walk! Will definitely go back
Go to place for late night supper and there’s also coffee bean down there road. Crowded on weekends but it’s very nice and filling
Not much to talk about other then it’s pretty standard food but prices on the high side.
Nicely located at the end of the Greenway, many interesting restaurants are welcoming tired hikers and cyclists with delicious food and drinks.
Open 24 hours, this is probably the only supper place at The Rail Mall. Food quality is consistent and similar with the other stores within the franchise.
I would have given them 5* if not the lack of manpower. Only 1 woman was at the front taking orders, cooking & manning the cash register. Bottlenecking the entire process.
I also recommend having the beeper system so customers will be notified when our food is ready for collection.
21Jun, seem like no more air conditioning due to Covid.
The laksa from Eat is not too bad, rather flavourful and tasty, with the right amount of spiciness and sweetness. The broth is creamy and not too thick, which makes this Laksa one of my go to choices if I’m looking for a quick but delicious meal. Minced meat noodles and fried carrot cake are above average.
very functional food stall. order, eat and move on.
don’t expect anything fancy. good to have your laksa / fishball / pork chop fix for a reasonable price. nothing less, nothing more.
good price delicious food
착한가격 맛있는 음식들
Good
Handmade Fish Dumpling Soup is quite salty, but it is not too bad if you are passing through to fuel your body. The dumpling is not made fresh, so lower your expectation. Do check your order due to the number of orders placed there, mistakes happens.
Poor service plus bad attitude at order counter!!
2⭐ for the food!
Good 24 hrs noodles place. Good pit stop for cycling.
Food alright but not fantastic. Casher poor attitude, perhaps wrong day of d month. Definitely not coming back again.
This is my most favourite Eat outlet. There are ample seats. Food quality is consistent after do many years.
No frills self-service eatery serving local comfort food. Was here around 2pm+ and had Bak Chor Mee. Wasn’t expecting much but frankly the food wasn’t half bad! Maybe they should have named themselves ‘EAT & GO!’ Heh heh …
Food so so… Environment so so… Service so so… The only reason I’ll go there is because parking is free and this is the only noodle store there! So, 2 Stars! 😛
The noodle was ok. A good place for breakfast but parking can be tough during peak hours
It’s alright. Not the best. Tea was too strong.
24 hrs outlet what do you expect
Good tasty
Good variety of food. Open for supper.
Ate Fishball or Bak Chor noodles. Tried the Lor Mee only so so but the Carrot cake is good. Price quite standard $5 to $$7.
Open 24 hours a day, if you are always hungry, you can eat cheap noodles (fish balls, laksa, etc.). taste is mediocre
24시간 열어서 언제나 배고프면 값싸게 국수(피쉬볼, 락사 등) 먹을 수 있는 곳. 맛은 평범함

Nice food, me n my sister really loves it ️️️️️️
Nice place, nice food. The auntie servers are very friendly and most importantly they kept the place very clean. Always come here for ba chor mee and laksa. The fried tofu and fried tau ki is very delicious too. Parking is easy
Great laksa and vegetarian local dishes
